SHIGA Cherry Blossoms (Lake Biwa Canal) 滋賀の桜（琵琶湖疎水の桜）
滋賀県を走る京阪電気鉄道石山坂本線の三井寺駅から三井寺に向かう途中にある「琵琶湖疎水」周辺に咲き誇る桜を見に多くの観光客が訪れていました。近くの三井寺の桜を見に来る人以外に、ここの桜だけ見学に来る若者が多いのではないかと思われます。
Many tourists came to see the cherry blossoms blooming around “Lake Biwa Canal” on the way to Miidera Temple from the Miidera Station on Keihan Railway Ishiyama-zaka Honsen Line running through Shiga Prefecture. In addition to those who come to see the cherry blossoms at the nearby Miidera Temple, many young people probably come here just to see the cherry blossoms.
