Many history textbooks in Asian schools mention Hiroshima due to its significant historical background. It was impressive to see that Hiroshima Station had now developed into a modern and new transportation integrated hub complete with a big shopping complex! And it was such a busy and lively station!

PS. The title of the 2nd chapter had a typo error, should be ‘….. ticket gates’, not ‘tHicket gates’ 😬

いい意味で地方都市感が強い街だね。福岡市と違って中四国（同じ地方）の東京！みたいな感じで人が集まっている感じもなく、広島県内で完結できている。

広島って駅中なのに国際空港並みに西洋系外国人が多いよね
個人的な感想です
地元民からしたら、期待していたほど、目新しいものはなかったです、自分が普段使ってる香水でさえ、大阪や福岡でしか買えなく、残念でしたね、近くのモ–ルにあるお店ばかりで😵💦
博多の田舎者ですけど なにか？
コンサート会場も無い、若者が、働く企業もない。賑わいはありそうですが、町の地力が弱いように思います。福岡のようにワクワク感がある市に比べると、まだまだ頑張らないとと思います。
因みに、広島県北民です。
なぜ博多と比較するのかよくわかりませんね。広島は広島、福岡は福岡です。どっちもいいところがあるでしょうに。広島人はゆがんだメンタリティを持っていて、「どうせ広島じゃけえ（たいしたことはない）」という考えの人が多いんですね。お国自慢をする人は本当に滅多にいません。広島から博多までおよそ1時間。とても気軽に行き来できるから仲良くしましょうよ。あと、町中に緑が多くて中心部に3本の川が流れている独特の風景が見られるのは広島のよいところですね。元安橋袂の河畔のカフェでよく冷えたシャンパンを飲んでぼーっとするのが好きです。（ここ、8割がたが欧米人観光客です。）さてそれはともかく、私は広島駅から一駅の町に住んでいますが、これを見てminamoaがよくわかりました。ありがとうございます。一度覗いてみたのですが、なんせあまりに人が多くて15分ほどで帰ったんですよ・・・。それと知人が映っていたのにはびっくり！おもしろいです。
広島は空港が遠いってのがウィークポイントだよね～
この賑わいがいつまで続くか・・
