Inspired by what they learned, we visited the Varve Museum and Lake Suigetsu in Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Lake Suigetsu, known as the “Miracle Lake,” is the only place in the world with 70,000 years of continuous varves.
We explored this unique site as a family, discovering Earth’s ancient history preserved in these natural layers.

We hope this video inspires you to embark on your own family learning adventure.
