I don’t like waiting. But for those of you who want to see a lot of things, this time I’m going to show you a recommended way to get around and experience 15 pavilions and events even on a super crowded day.If you have any questions after watching the video, please feel free to ask questions in the comments section.This video is a strategy as of early May.For the latest information, please see the QR code or the summary section.Now, let’s start the main part.First of all, if you want to visit the Expo, I recommend weekdays.I’d like to go on a day when the Expo is open. Then Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on weekdays are the best.On Saturdays and Sundays, the number of visitors can double or triple compared to weekdays.If possible, go on weekdays because you can get around more smoothly on open days.However, if you can only go on Saturdays and Sundays, that’s fine.We’ll show you how to enjoy many of the pavilions even on busy days.The West Gate is recommended as the entrance gate.We’ll explain in detail.There are two entrances to the Expo: the East Gate and the West Gate. You need to make a reservation in advance to decide which way to enter.If you go from East Gate, you can go from Yumeshima Station on the subway.If you go to West Gate, you can take a shuttle bus.The shuttle bus is a bit troublesome, so many people prefer to go by train.The East Gate tends to be more crowded, so it is easier to enter from the West Gate.After entering, you can reserve one pavilion. However, it is easier to reserve the popular pavilions if you enter early, so we recommend the west gate.Reservations for the shuttle bus are extremely important.The shuttle bus that goes to the Expo departs from JR Sakurajima Station.Reservations are required for this bus.If you do not make a reservation in advance, even if you arrive at 8am, you may not be able to board until after 10am.The shuttle bus is Kansai Mars (KANSAI) You can make reservations on a site called MaaS, so register as a member and buy Shadle Bus tickets as soon as possible.It’s convenient to have the app installed.The first shuttle bus departs from Sakurajima Station at 8:10 a.m.If you want to get around efficiently but want to shorten your waiting time, take the train that arrives at Sakurajima Station at 8:30 a.m. At this time , there were days when I was able to get on the shuttle bus after waiting for about 5 minutes. Tips for experiencing popular pavilions You can reserve up to 3 pavilions at least one day before going to the Expo. Making a reservation makes it easier to plan your schedule, and there are some popular pavilions that you cannot experience without making a reservation. The first reservation deadline is 2 months and 1 day before your arrival in Japan, so decide on your date early. For tips on pavilion reservations, see this QR code or in the comments section. We’ll show you how to increase your chances of winning. What to do immediately after entering . There are some things you should do first after entering from the gate. You can make a reservation 5 to 10 minutes after scanning the QR code at the pavilion entrance gate.If you choose a pavilion that you can experience by 11 o’clock, you may be able to make another reservation on the same day, so it is a good idea to reserve a pavilion that you can experience as early as possible.If you go first thing in the morning, if you enter from the west gate here, first go to Pasona Nature Bath.In the morning , even if you don’t have a reservation, you can enter with a waiting time of less than 30 minutes. The area near the west gate of both the overseas pavilions is empty in the morning. If you go to Germany, Italy, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, or Spain, you may be able to experience the experience with a wait of less than 15 minutes. Some pavilions open from 9:30, so you may have to wait a little. Tips for visiting popular overseas pavilions. On busy days, the waiting time can exceed 2 hours at the American Pavilion and the China Pavilion, where the waiting time can exceed 1 hour. If you want to go to this pavilion, you’ll want to line up by around 1:00 in the morning.It’s close to the East Gate, so if you can arrive at Yumeshima Station around 7:30 in the morning, we recommend making a reservation at the East Gate and going there first thing in the morning.Also , try to get there before 7:00 pm. The popular main show of the Expo. Waiting times at each pavilion will be shorter before the Blue and Night Rainbow Parade is held, so it’s also a good idea to go to the American Pavilion or the China Pavilion at this time. However, after the show , the waiting time for the American pavilion and French pavilion will be quite long.The waiting time for other popular pavilions will also be long around lunchtime, so if you want to go to an overseas pavilion at that time, we recommend the Commons.The Commons is a pavilion where you can experience many overseas pavilions little by little, but the building is large, so it goes smoothly. You can enter the popular pavilions at once in the evening.It is also a good idea to eat some food before the evening, take a break, and prepare for later in the evening.Avoid eating at 12 o’clock during the lunch time.There are huge lines everywhere at this time.My recommendation is to have lunch at 10:30.At this time, you can easily enter almost any restaurant. If it’s a little-known pavilion, it may be reserved for you. Overseas pavilions have a small number of seats, so if you want to eat at a restaurant from a country where you want to eat, we recommend going early. Or you can go there after 3:00 pm . Depending on the overseas pavilion, the restaurant may be closed from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. In that case, going before 4:00 pm may allow you to enter and exit more smoothly. How to get around in the afternoon and evening. There will be a lot of people everywhere in the afternoon , but there’s no need to rush.We recommend Commons ABCD, which has multiple countries in its building, and there are many exhibits that you can enter without lining up.Also, events are held at Expo Messe almost every day, so we also recommend visiting Expo Messe. There are many events at the Messe where you can enter without waiting, so go to the event venue during busy times.For information on what events are being held, please check the Expo’s official website or the overview section.We also recommend climbing the large roof ring and enjoying the view. If you walk on the large roof ring and look at the pavilion from above, you can make many discoveries even on busy days.If you want to buy souvenirs, we recommend this time of day.After the evening, it gets very crowded and there are some shops where you can wait for more than 10 minutes to enter.Let ‘s go around a lot at night. In fact, the night is your greatest opportunity. In Kuwait , reservations are usually required before 8pm on weekdays, but we were able to get in with a 10 minute wait. By 8pm, I was able to enter the United Nations Pavilion, which usually requires a reservation, with zero waiting time.In the daytime, the waiting time was around 30 minutes, but at night, you can experience the pavilion without lining up.However , the pavilions with longer experience times are only available at 8pm. Please note that the reception may close. How to get around on Saturdays and Sundays when it is busy. If you have reserved the East Gate to enter at 9am, we recommend arriving at Yumeshima Station at 7:30 in the morning. The restrooms will be very crowded around Yumeshima Station, so go to the restrooms in advance at Bentencho Station. When you start moving to the baggage inspection area, line up in a line with fewer people. After entering, there is a high possibility that you can only make one reservation on the same day, so choose the pavilion you want to experience most. If possible , reserve a pavilion early in the morning. We recommend that you arrive at Sakurajima Station at 8 a.m. if you have reserved the west gate at 9 a.m. Once you enter, head to Pasona Pavilion After that, we recommend the nearby Overseas Pavilion or Iida Pavilion Which overseas pavilion do you want to go to? Let’s research it in advance.We’ll also introduce recommendations for overseas pavilions from the overview section.In the morning, you can go around the pavilions along the ring to experience the experience with a short waiting time.In the afternoon, don’t push yourself too hard and take a break to conserve your stamina.You can also enjoy the event venue and the large roof ring.Then there’s a rush in the evening.By going around like this , we were able to experience 15 spots on the first day and 16 spots the next Saturday.Tips to keep in mind if you’re going with small children. If you go straight through the large roof ring from the east gate, there is a play area where small children will want to play.If you start playing right after entering, your plans may fall apart.The fun play area is only available in the afternoon. We recommend going during times when Rion is crowded.Avoid areas with play equipment and go through areas where you can’t see them as much as possible.Recommended pavilions that even small children can enjoy are Denkikan, Sumitomokan, and the non-reservation area of ​​Inochi Playground Jellyfish Museum. This is not the case.Many pavilions close reception at 8:30 pm.In other words, 10:00 pm does not mean that you can play until 10:00 pm.Please note that you will not be able to climb the large roof ring after 9:00 pm.Recommended things to bringConvenient appsHere are some useful items to bring with you.First of all, you will definitely need a mobile battery.When entering the pavilion at the Expo venue, please use the QR code. I think the battery will run down more easily than usual because I have a lot of experience displaying codes and using apps.It may also run down if I take a lot of photos and videos.Next, it’s a good idea to have an eco bag.Depending on the pavilion or event, you can receive various things, so the amount of luggage you pack will be completely different if you go home in the evening than when you go in the morning. Next is the foldable cushion.If you go to the entrance gate early in the morning and wait for the performance to start, or if you are trying to find a place early in the morning, a soft cushion will reduce the strain on your body.It is a good idea to have a translation app on your smartphone.Staff at overseas pavilions will be visiting from overseas.
