This time, I went to Rihga Royal Osaka, which is called “Osaka’s State Guest House”! I stayed here in 2024 aiming to take advantage of the annual lounge membership I got through IHG training and get a cheap rate! ! There is a shuttle bus from JR Osaka Station every 15 minutes from 7:45 to 22:30. Travel time is about 15 minutes. Was the shuttle bus we took old? The seats were small. Looks like there’s something underground too~ Let’s explore later! What you can see in the back is the main lounge, which is said to have a concept with a traditional Japanese aesthetic in mind.You can see a waterfall from the large windows.It looks like a river is flowing through it.As it is said to be “Osaka’s state guesthouse,” the lobby floor is spacious and spacious (LOL).How much did this carpet cost? There is a shop called Melissa on this floor that sells bread, chocolate, deli goods, etc. I will introduce it later. First, check in! As a Diamond Elite member, go to the dedicated check-in counter! The room on the 13th floor seems to be undergoing a rave renovation.The one on the left is still old.Since I go there at a delicate time when they are always selling cheap rates, it is easy to upgrade from the bottom reservation with IHG diamond benefits. The minibar area looks like this~ Does anyone else look into the minibar when they want a late night snack? Don’t worry , Rihga Royal has a convenience store. (I’ll explain later) A one-piece loungewear. I like to sleep with my legs exposed, so I prefer a one-piece type. My husband prefers a separate type. I think the table is low enough for him to work on his computer. It’s been renovated, so it’s very clean and comfortable, including the plumbing. The drains didn’t smell, either. Shampoo, treatments, and body shampoo. A pool is always available. All amenities are available. There is no inconvenience. For the hair dryer that women are interested in , there is a Pana hair iron rental service, and when I called, they brought it along with nail clippers. For some reason, my husband has a mysterious habit of wanting to cut his nails when he comes to the hotel (lol). The smart TV and facilities are also the latest! The TV has a lot of foreign channels, YouTube, Netflix, etc. You can get this delicious-looking seafood pilaf from room service, but how much do you think it will cost? You can use the “Royal Club Lounge” if you stay on the club floor or get an annual membership in the IHG lounge. Here we have dry sweets such as nuts and snacks. This is probably my favorite (lol) In addition to various drinks, snacks, and fruits, there are also sandwiches, so you can eat and drink as you like! The sandwich seems to have a reputation for its special moist bread. As for fruits, there were shine muscats and sweet mandarin oranges. The fruits may change depending on the season.During afternoon tea, each person will be served a basket of cakes.Before the renewal, it seems that alcohol was available for free during key times, but as of February 2025, the free service has ended.We used afternoon tea for two days.The contents of afternoon tea on the second day were a little different.There was cheesecake! Next is the evening time from 5:30 pm, when the sun sets, you can order drinks in a completely adult space , including free flow beer and wine , both non-alcoholic and alcoholic , as well as champagne and premium whiskeys such as Suntory Yamazaki and Nikka Yoichi. Highly satisfying! ! Although we do not serve hearty meals, each person can receive one plate of simple amuse. Cute ♥ In addition, cheese, raw ham, carpaccio, etc. are served in a buffet style. If you are a picky eater, you can also use it as a substitute for dinner. My husband loves Yoichi . There’s also a video of him touring the Nikka Whiskey factory in Yoichi ♪ It’s delicious to eat tomatoes pickled in oil with baguette ~ It seems like we used to check in here before. This is an introduction to the night view hotel building in Nakanoshima! Melissa on the 1st floor has a bakery, deli, wine, and other food items that are fun to look at! We also have cakes and chocolates! The bakery has also been selected as one of Tabelog’s 100 Famous Stores! I thought there was planet chocolate, but planet gelato also appeared ! Seafood pilaf was sold in room service! ! Is it half size room service? It’s cheaper and better this way, but I wonder if room service will give you freshly made, warm food… Half & Half looks delicious! ! I don’t think there was a microwave in the hotel (it’s not a business hotel), so I think you can just ask for a lentil when you pay at Melissa’s. Melissa says it’s a traditional sable – it’s a little bit of sea bream – it’s great as a gift or for a wedding! Afternoon tea boxes for one person were on sale! It’s also good to enjoy slowly by yourself! It looks like it would be fun to have with friends or as a snack for a small party.There ‘s also a 24-hour fitness gym on the 7th floor of the annex.Unfortunately , Rihga Royal is a members-only club with a club doctor and training staff, so it doesn’t seem like you can use it for free.Let ‘s go to the basement area.The basement has restaurants, a convenience store, and the hotel’s usual boutiques. I’ve never seen a hotel boutique with customers in it, but I guess it won’t go out of business…? How does it work? I’ve heard that aspiring managers are trained, but…? The long-established Osaka udon restaurant Dotonbori Imai is located in Rihga Royal Osaka! The signature menu item, Kitsune Udon, is something I’d like to try someday.The restaurants here are pretty expensive. But it looks delicious (lol) It’s a convenient store that is directly connected to Keihan Railway’s Nakanoshima Station ! ! Business hours are 7-Eleven (lol)! ! ! Strolling around on the floor where there are wedding venues, banquets, conferences, etc. It looks like you could have a real high-class wedding. I came back to the room. The view from the room is like this. It looks like condominiums will be built in the redevelopment. Introducing the breakfast. First up is the all-day dining “REMONE.” This is a restaurant with a view of the Japanese garden. They have both Japanese and Western food , of course. What caught my heart was the baked salmon! Isn’t it rare to find salmon that isn’t raw? There was also a pancake machine that made pancakes when you waved your hand.Be sure to check out the breakfast in the club lounge! ! The lounge breakfast is second to none! It’s a shame that there’s no baked salmon, but it’s nice to be able to enjoy breakfast in peace and quiet. For breakfast, we had children with us. If there were many complaints, we might change the rules. Lots of your favorite Japanese food♪ All-you-can-eat Fukuya mentaiko and large salmon roe! ! The pickles were colorful and beautifully made with a lot of carefully selected ingredients.We also had soba noodles.We had a truffle omelet and scrambled eggs made at the egg station! The large grains are shining brightly.This is corn soup.I think most hotel soups are ready-made, so I was hesitant about drinking it, but this one is homemade! ! And it was super delicious! It was a Chinese style corn soup. It was so delicious that I ordered a second helping. Overall, it was a pretty high-quality breakfast! リーガロイヤルって勝手に行きにくいと思って少し敬遠してた私ですが梅田から無料シャトルバスが出ているので楽でしたね。バスの座席がめっちゃ狭かったですが、、
リーガロイヤルのバス待合が凄い人数だったのでなるべく人とずらしてバスに乗りこみたいですね。リーガロイヤルのロビーに到着して、思っていた通りの古さだなと思っていたのですが、メリッサや部屋のリニューアル、ラウンジの快適さで塗り替えられました。
やはりあまり期待しないで行った方が感動しますね。口が悪くてすみません。。
本当は中之島で散策予定も考えていましたが、ずっとホテルステイで終わりました。
