【大人の鹿児島旅】桜島を一周して全部見たらこうなりました。機嫌よく噴火してます桜島!おすすめ10選にありそうな鹿児島といえばココ!っていう3泊4日半旅3 kagoshima

Hello, this is the Drive Travel Channel. This time, we will introduce places in Kagoshima Prefecture that will make you want to visit. Good morning! This is the third day of our trip to Kagoshima. Today, we will go around Sakurajima. It’s amazing that there is an active volcano in the largest city in Kagoshima Prefecture, isn’t it? This content may be helpful for those planning to visit Sakurajima or those who are curious about it. Please watch until the end. This channel features road trips across western Japan. If you’re interested or would like to support us, please give us a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, and turn on notifications. This is where we are now, halfway through our 3-night, 4-day trip. The Sakurajima Ferry, which operates year-round, takes 15 minutes to reach the opposite shore of Sakurajima. The fare is paid on Sakurajima. You don’t get off the car, there’s almost no waiting, and it was so smooth that I wondered if I had forgotten something. What appeared before us was the Kagoshima Aquarium. The ritual performed on the ferry is eating “yabukin” udon noodles. The delicious aroma of bonito broth greeted us. Once you enter the cabin, secure a seat immediately and head straight to the restaurant. The time limit is 15 minutes. Why does udon and soba taste so good on a ferry? Even though it’s called udon, I chose soba. The broth was light, and there were small satsuma age (fried fish cakes) that gave it a Kagoshima flavor. I finished it in no time. Traveling, if you let your guard down you might end up eating nothing but noodles for an entire day. Anyway, it was a quick trip from boarding the ferry to arriving at the other side and disembarking. It was a tense ferry ride. It only takes about an hour to drive around Sakurajima. Tourist attractions are concentrated on the west side of the island, where the port and roadside station are located. It took about six hours to visit the spots I will introduce next by car. First is “Roadside Station Sakurajima.” Here you can find the world’s largest Sakurajima radish, the world’s smallest Sakurajima mandarin orange, and many other souvenirs. Bontan Ame Next door is a restaurant. After that, we drove to Tarumi City, where there was a shop I wanted to visit. Sakurajima erupts almost every day. It was erupting happily when we visited. I think the locals might actually find it scarier when it’s not erupting. Sometimes there are huge eruptions, which they call explosions. It seems that only Kagoshima uses the word “explosion” nationwide. The weather forecast is sunny, rainy, and cloudy. There is also a forecast for ash. Ash falls as a matter of course. I wonder if this is the only place on Earth where volcanoes are such a normal part of everyday life. We arrived at the restaurant. “Umi no Oukan” At the fishing cooperative’s restaurant, the “Kampachi marinated rice bowl” was absolutely delicious. Even though it’s not yet noon, the place is already full. You can order either by scanning the QR code or calling the staff. Look at this transparent, thick “Kampachi”! Marinated in sweet soy sauce and layered thickly. Ta rumi City is Japan’s top producer of Kampachi aquaculture. The feed used for aquaculture includes tea from Kagoshima Prefecture. Feeding the fish tea helps maintain freshness, increases vitamin E levels, reduces cholesterol content, and results in high-quality, translucent fish. Tarumi City, Umi-gata Fishing Port The scent of the sea and the sound of fishing boats create a pleasant atmosphere. It was delicious. There was no fishy smell at all, and it was fresh and delicious. I plan to return to Sakurajima and take a clockwise tour. This is the Kurokami Submerged Torii Gate. There was a torii gate that was buried by the Great Taisho Eruption. The great eruption of Sakurajima in 1914 buried this entire area in volcanic ash. The torii gate, which was 3 meters high, was buried up to about 1 meter below the top of the roof. As you proceed further, passing between Kurokami Middle School, you will see the main hall of the “Hara Go-sha Shrine.” The tree on the right is said to have been there before the Taisho eruption. The Taisho eruption was It was the largest volcanic eruption in Japan in terms of volume in the 20th century. This activity caused Sakurajima to become connected to the mainland. Next is the “Arimura Lava Viewpoint.” This area is covered with solidified magma that has accumulated over time. There is a walking trail about 1 kilometer long with an observation deck on a hill made of lava. This lava field was formed by the 1946 Showa eruption A rare opportunity to walk in an area that has only been about 80 years since the eruption Occasionally, faint sounds of eruptions, like “gooo,” could be heard The eruptions have been active since morning The uphill and downhill sections are quite steep… There is a slope, so it seems possible to go halfway by wheelchair. The view of Kinko Bay was beautiful. It took about 20 minutes to complete the loop. Just when we were getting a little tired, roasted sweet potatoes and “tankan juice” caught our eye. It tastes like mandarin orange. It’s sweet. It seems to have sugar in it. It’s just right for tired legs. The graves on Sakurajima have roofs. This is a sight you don’t see in other prefectures. There is ash piled up on the road. This is the “Yunohira Observation Deck.” This is the highest point accessible to the public on Sakurajima. The view from here was the most impressive and breathtaking. Kinko Bay and Kagoshima city It looks so close when viewed like this. This is the “Sakurajima Visitor Center.” This facility provides a deeper understanding of Sakurajima. This towel is of high quality and features a design of Sakurajima. I felt that seeing Sakurajima after arriving here first helped me understand it better. Inside the center, there was information about the history of Sakurajima’s eruptions and tourist information. There are also books about Kagoshima and Sakurajima, as well as souvenirs unique to Sakurajima that can only be purchased here. The most popular bag in Kagoshima Radishes growing vigorously There is a park in front Japan’s largest foot bath located on an active volcano approximately 100 meters long The view is spectacular Natural hot spring water of reddish-brown color flowing from 1,000 meters underground Passing by the ferry terminal Heading toward an area not yet developed for tourism To the north of Sakurajima is “the place where Shimazu Yoshihiro was placed under house arrest.” After the Battle of Sekigahara, he spent about two months in seclusion here to apologize to the Tokugawa clan. The gate of the samurai residence Now only the gate remains Was he looking at this view? He returned after passing by There are fields of Sakurajima radishes The field where Sakurajima radishes, recognized by Guinness World Records as the heaviest radishes in the world, are grown The Guinness record is 31.1 kg in weight and 119 cm in circumference Harvesting takes place from January to February, so from November to December, the field may be covered with radishes This is the “Kurokami Viewpoint” This was the spot at the observation deck where the crater was most clearly visible. It’s easier to see from the bridge side. It’s more enjoyable and memorable to walk around Sakurajima once. My impressions after visiting It was really impressive to be able to get so close to an active volcano that is still erupting, and to see so many people living there as if it were normal. It was a trip where I felt a different kind of beauty and the fear of nature compared to Mount Aso and Mount Unzen I think I’ll stay in Kagoshima City tonight. Sakurajima was fun. Hotel Sundays Kagoshima The hotel is close to “Tenmonkan” and right in the center of the city. It’s quiet and very spacious. The bathroom is a bit old. The night view of “Castle Mountain” from the hotel. Tonight, I’ll have dinner at “Ramen Kokinta.” We were able to get in without waiting. It smells delicious. I can’t wait There are 32 seats at the counter surrounding the kitchen. Pickled daikon radish is placed on the table. Cooking begins right in front of you. Can I eat this daikon? I’m not sure, but I eat it as if I know. The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles. Smooth and chewy, with a regular firmness A broth made from chicken and pork bones, blended with several kinds of vegetables, fruits, and seafood The char siu is thin and melt-in-your-mouth tender Green onions, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, and char siu The top-ranked store in the top 20 list A rich yet mild-tasting broth Something you’d want to eat after drinking alcohol The inside is extremely hot It must be sweaty in the summer It was delicious. No, it was incredibly delicious. Kagoshima ramen is the best! Is that pickled radish unique to Kagoshima? But it was delicious. Anyway, the restaurant was very crowded and hot. I’m going to buy some yakitori on the way back to the hotel and have a drink in my room. Tomorrow, I’ll be visiting “Sengan-en.” Looking forward to the next time. See you later.
