This time, we visited a Japanese restaurant called “Karin” in Sakaemachi.
It’s located on Train Street. Lunchtime is from 11:30 to 14:00, closed on Mondays ① Nigiri sushi set, 1,000 yen (tax included)
※Limited to 10 per day It comes with udon noodles. I eat nigiri sushi with a little soy sauce…it’s delicious🩷 The tempura includes grated daikon radish, shrimp, white fish, eggplant, green peppers, pumpkin, and shishito peppers. ② Daily bento, 850 yen (tax included) Vinegared radish, omelet, soup, shiratama zenzai Two fried white fish, elegantly seasoned.
Great value for money. ③ Stewed hamburger set, 1,000 yen (tax included) Small shrimp salad and clear soup with bamboo shoots Hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce, onion and king oyster mushrooms It has a soft and fluffy texture in your mouth. ④ Zuke bowl, 850 yen (tax included) Lots of shredded seaweed! The Hirasu sashimi is delicious with sesame paste and soy sauce. ⑤ Chirashi sushi set, 800 yen (tax included) Chirashizushi is made with tamagoyaki (rolled egg) and lotus root. Fresh vinegar also increases your appetite. The ingredients are kamaboko, wakame seaweed, and green onions. The noodles are chewy and the broth is light. The Shiratama Zenzai at the end is a nice touch. Thank you for watching until the end.

ひっそりと佇む和食店 。一見、控えめな町のお店・・・と思いきや、一口食べればその上品な味つけに驚かされます。
おすすめは、日替わり弁当やセットメニュー。見た目も美しく、種類豊富なおかずが少しずつ楽しめるうえに、お値段も控えめ。つい「今日は何かな？」と楽しみになり、通いたくなるお店です。
「外食なのに、まるで家で丁寧に作ってもらったような安心感」。お店の味には、そんな心地よさがあります。
静かに、でも確かに心に残る――そんな和の余韻がここにはあります。
