“Wakayama Prefecture – Spectacular Views Within a 10-minute Walk” Press the subtitle button or CC button to enjoy the full caption. Hello everyone, my name is Watatabi. This time I would like to go see the spectacular scenery in Wakayama Prefecture. There are many famous tourist spots nearby, such as “Adventure World”, “Toretore Market”, and “Shirahama Onsen”. The destination is Tanabe City, located in the south-central part of Wakayama Prefecture. We will aim for the scenic spot “Hikiiwa Group” near the city center and about 100 meters above sea level. It is known as an area where special creatures are distributed, and it is a place where you can easily see the spectacular view just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. The parking lot is not in the mountains either, and you can arrive in about 3 minutes from where you are currently driving. This time we will go to see two spectacular views. It’s an emergency! It was raining really heavily. “It’s going to start raining around 6pm.” It’s already raining… “The rain will stop in 25 minutes.” There are no customers. It’s raining. The rain has eased considerably, so I’m heading there. I headed there hoping for the rain to stop after filming the opening scene, but… The rain cloud radar has changed and we are now in the rain again. There’s a lot of thunder, so I’ll come again tomorrow morning. I’d better go back to this. This is harsh. Heavy rain! It’s raining so much that my head is soaked. i’m back. This has made things a lot better. This is the ultimate rain man.Even if I wanted to go out now, the rain had completely stopped and the sun was out, I would give up today. Look for a roadside station where you can sleep in the car. good morning. Now I want to go to a place I couldn’t go to yesterday. It’s 9.7km from here… it will take you 16 minutes. We have arrived. We have arrived. It was early in the morning, so the parking lot wasn’t open. There are several parking lots, and there’s another one right next to it, so I parked there. This is the parking lot of the Furusato Nature Park Center. You can see the spectacular view just a short walk from here. From the parking lot at the north entrance, you can see the spectacular view within a 10-minute walk. I’d like to start climbing from this side, as there are a few things to see from this side. I’ve been here once for photography work. Please take a look at the official YouTube video of the Ministry of the Environment’s National Parks of Japan. It’s only for a moment, but you can also see my back. As for the scenery we will see this time, we are now heading to a place called “Hikiiwa Group”. As written here, you can see the scenery created by nature. This is a recommended tourist spot where you can easily see the spectacular scenery. This time, how long? I introduced it once about a year ago, but I would like to take some pictures using this small drone called “HOVERAir X1 Smart”. This is a drone that weighs less than 100g (99g) and can shoot at 2.7K without requiring a flight permit. We will introduce how to use this and some important notes at the end of the video, so please watch until the end. Then I’d like to head over there. It starts from the side of this pond. It is a place where even children can go as the sensitivity is very low. It’s a big difference from yesterday’s heavy rain. It feels really good to take a walk like this in the morning. I thought the ground would be soggy from the rain, but the ground absorbed the water and turned out to be a normal road. The blue maple is very beautiful. All of these are also Momiji. There is no climbing at the moment, but I will climb a little from here. It’s a little bit of a climb from here. The altitude is about 100m, so it’s a really easy place to get to. It slopes from here. Um… the old man takes my breath away a little. Even though it’s inside the park, you can enjoy a lot of nature. Even if you say that this place is right from the city center, I don’t understand at all. It’s a rest spot. It’s not convincing at all, but it’s a spot you can easily enjoy…so I’m off to a fresh start. There’s also a signboard. If you go back the way you just came, you will return to the “Furusato Center” and the observation point is here. This is the most difficult part. There is almost no difficulty in climbing this route. It’s a good and moderate exercise in the morning. A second difficulty appeared. When I say it’s a difficult place, it’s just a staircase… but it’s difficult for an old man. This is highlight point 1. This place is quite interesting. There’s a big rock like this, but I guess it’s a rock or a cliff. There’s a hole in it. I think the inside was formed by erosion, but it has an interesting rock surface. There is a hole so you can hang your feet. We have arrived. It was much scarier than the last time I climbed it. It has a rock surface like this. There was a spot like this in Yamagata Prefecture as well. The height is likely to be about 5m from the lowest point. Why is the sand so smooth only here? It is a relatively soft sandstone that was deposited during the Miocene period of the Tertiary period of the Cenozoic era. I’m getting off. I’m so scared of going down! I wonder if I was this scared… I came down. This is something you should definitely see if you come here, but it might not be possible if you’re not comfortable with heights. Let’s move on. The road is well-maintained, so it’s really easy to walk. It’s already summer, the weather is so hot. It was a little chilly before I climbed, but sweat was dripping down my forehead. A signboard has appeared. 900m to the south entrance on the left. 1km to the west entrance. And the north entrance is 200 meters long. The road I just came through is 550m. It’s a scenic spot right next to it, so it’s about 600 meters from the way I came. If you use the north entrance, you can get there in about 250 meters. If you are quick, it will take less than 10 minutes. Well…let’s go. You might be wondering how you can see such a view after walking 200 meters, which takes less than 10 minutes, but it is truly an amazing view. Hikiiwa Group is a series of rocky mountains that extend 1.5km from east to west and 1km from north to south, with an altitude of about 130m at the highest point. Enjoy dynamic scenery and 360 degree views. It is said that it was named “Hikiiwa Group” because it looks like a flock of toads looking up at the sky. With its rugged rocks, dense forest, and diverse flora and fauna, it is a spot where you can enjoy nature and spectacular views despite being close to the city. This will be the top point. I have arrived. It’s like this. It’s a big panorama. It’s a descent from here, but this one continues to the entrance on the west side. Now, let’s head back. There is a scenic spot called “Iwaya Kannon” right there, and I think it was like “Visiting the 33rd temple in Saigoku”, so I’m going to go there as well. By the way, it takes about 30 minutes from the parking lot where I came. If you’re an early person, you might be able to get there in 20 or 25 minutes. You can get there quickly from the north entrance, but I personally recommend the east entrance as there are more points to see. i’m back. On the way back, I’m going to get off the train, so I’ll be back in about 15 minutes. It’s so hot that steam is coming out of my body. Head to your next destination. It’s about 3 minutes by car from here. Can we go there? Shall we climb? Wait, which one? The parking lot. this? ? ? ? We have arrived. This is the place where you can do the “New Saigoku Thirty-Three Sacred Sites Tour”. It seems like you can see a nice view here too, so I’m going to go there. There’s a monorail. I don’t know if it’s still being used, but it’s still going on somewhere. The parking lot isn’t that big, but it’s Saturday and there aren’t any customers. Let’s start with the stairs. Oh, there are always stairs… Apparently, this is a place that you can tour around in about 30 minutes. We are blessed with very nice weather. The stone walls that have a very historical feel to them continue for a long time. It’s always stairs. It’s quite tiring. You will soon see Iwaya Kannon. It was closer than I expected. It seems like you can get there within 5 minutes on foot. It is quite tall. The monorail continues up to this point. There’s a toilet. It’s a very simple toilet, but… This is it. “Shin Saigoku 33 Sacred Site Tour Guide” Before seeing this sign, let’s go to Iwaya Kannon first. We have arrived. A temple is built in this gaping gap between rocks. I would like to visit the shrine first and then go on a tour of the sacred sites. That’s amazing. It is beautifully built along this rock. I went to worship. This is your starting point. There are numbers from number 1 to number 33. The sacred site tour takes about 30 minutes, and the area around Jusanban is said to have a particularly good view. The first one is “Mt. Nachi”, which you can see right away. That’s it. This is it. People in the past often found places like this. It’s amazing to build a building in a place like this. It’s a sheer cliff. Right there is a residential area. It’s a strange sight. It’s really hot in the sun, but here it’s in the shade so it’s really cool. A tree is falling down. I had to either bend down or straddle it… I was able to straddle it because my legs were long. From here there is a handrail. It’s quite a climb… There’s a blue net. Do you make the route easy to understand? I wish I had looked at the map properly… This is… I’m not sure what number it is, but I think it’s probably the second one. There are so many spider webs that no one is coming. This is the third place I’ve walked. It’s less than a minute’s walk away. 10 seconds after walking from the third, I reached the fourth… It says No. 6… So you’ve overlooked two things… I wonder where it was… Shirahama is right there, so I’d like to go to Adventure World or Shirahama Onsen and enjoy it before heading home, but I don’t have much time for that… I came to Shirahama and climbed this place… I overlooked it. This is number seven. If you’re moving along while taking pictures, you’ll easily miss it. Oh, there was this place too. there was. It’s a bit mossy and I don’t know why, but I think it’s No. 9. It’s not that hard of a place. It’s scary to hear the number 33, but it’s one minute apart. This is number ten. That’s number 11. It says that No. 13 has a good view, so what do you think? Which one can you see the spectacular view faster, the Hikiiwa Group or this one? This is number fourteen. It was the opposite path… It’s well ventilated and feels comfortable. picture? Have you climbed this far? It’s an absolutely spectacular view. amazing. Isn’t it amazing? ! This is number 12. Wow! amazing! lie? It’s really amazing… it’s amazing. Is it okay to climb on this rock? Will you get angry? Ah, amazing! You’ve come to an amazing place. Is it this way? The route is. Wow! Scary! There’s a cliff under your feet… if you fall, it’s really over. Is this number thirteen? That’s amazing! As expected, it’s a sacred place tour. The same is true for what you can see. There are about three Jizo statues standing there. It feels like walking all the way there, which feels really far away, but I guess it only takes about 5 minutes to get there. There is a possibility of slipping and falling, so if you are coming, you should be careful. This is number thirteen. The one I saw earlier was number 14, so I guess I’ll go back for a while. It’s a very expensive place like this, but it’s easy to walk around and I feel very safe. It’s quite interesting here. Even just walking. It’s number 15. This is number 16. I would like to take a look at this as well. This is not related to the route, so if you go, please do so at your own risk. Wow amazing! It’s a spectacular view. It’s surprisingly cool. I don’t know about it in the summer though. The road is not dangerous at all. It’s an easy road to walk. This is number 17. It’s number 18. There are many rocks with similar shapes in this area. You can see the sea even from here. There aren’t many people here, so I highly recommend this place. If you are nearby, please come and check it out. This is number 19. Isn’t this the most amazing place, in terms of location? It’s number 20. There are 13 left. This is number 21. This seems to be the highest position. I can now go up, but I wonder if it’s okay to go up? It looks like stairs. This is a little scary… This rock is curved, or rather, it’s slanted, and we’re standing on the tip of it right now. It’s really scary. This is not recommended for people who are afraid of heights. Ah, but it’s amazing! This is amazing. I’ve been down this road. It looks like an amazing place when you look at it, but it was actually an easy road to walk on. Are you going down from here? This is number 22. It’s there too. This is number 23. I was standing on top of it just now, and it felt like it was sticking out diagonally, which was really scary. I don’t think it will break. Well, it probably won’t break… It looks like it’s going to rain from here. It’s scarier to fall. Or maybe not, it was just here. It’s already gentle from here. It’s a bit of a wild road around here. This is number 24. There’s a hole. This is number 25, which was in this hole . There are eight left. It was there right away. It’s number 26. This area is amazing, the terrain is similar to before. This is the best place to see. Isn’t this number 26? Number 26 is enshrined here. It’s like this. The sand here is smooth, just like before. There are so many things to see and it’s really interesting. Huh? There’s nothing written here. I think it’s probably number 27. There’s a hole here too. I don’t know because it’s gone, but I think it’s number 28. Did I miscount? This was number 28. No one really comes. It’s Saturday, though. It’s a really nice place though. there was. This is number 29. It’s number 30. There are only three things left. It was here. That was something I had overlooked. It’s number 31. there was. Number 32. It’s already the last spurt, there’s only one thing left. a! It appeared earlier. It was in a place with a gaping hole. It feels a little special because it’s the last one. It’s the 33rd and last one. This was the 33rd and final number. I was able to come back. Personally, it was really good. I’m not a religious person myself, but it’s basically a place to visit sacred sites, but I think it’s a place that even people who aren’t interested in temples and other places can enjoy. Return to the parking lot. The parking lot is also surprisingly close. I wasn’t that tired, so I think I can go home non-stop. The drone I’d like to introduce this time is the one I introduced earlier, but it’s a small drone called the “HOVERAir X1Smart.” The contents look like this. First of all, it’s Hontai. A charger outlet, USB type C cable, and two spare propellers. That propeller screw and screwdriver. It includes a drawstring bag to put the main body in and instructions to read before flight. It also comes with two batteries and a charger. The main body looks like this, but the propeller guard is integrated with the main body. The material is quite soft, so even if you drop it, it won’t break easily. There are buttons here that allow you to select the battery and flight mode. There is a sensor on the back side, which is the main camera. This can record up to 2.7K. This has a Type C USB, so you can charge it from the main unit as well. In Japan, drones weighing more than 100g require a flight permit, but this drone weighs less than 99g, so you can fly it without needing a permit. The flight method is operated using this app.I downloaded it as I introduced it before, but first, press and hold here to turn on the power. Yes, the power is now on. First, you need to connect the app and the drone. The flight mode has various shooting modes like this. Orbit mode will rotate above your head. Orbit mode is very convenient because you can watch a video of how to shoot within the app. There is no memory card. It records on the main unit, so it’s like uploading footage taken using an app to your smartphone. It’s also very easy to fly, just select the mode, press the middle button, point the camera towards yourself, and it’ll take off. I’ll try it then. You can easily fly it like this. The sound is not that loud either. It’s also quite stable. As for how to stop it, if you put your hand on it… you can easily land it like this. It’s a cute drone that you’ll love. The mode I use with this drone is follow mode. It’s a tracking mode, but since I want to capture images that give a sense of realism, I mostly shoot in follow mode. It’s a video like this. I’m sure there were some in this video, but it’s very convenient to be able to express that you’re walking somewhere amazing right now. This is a highly recommended drone for those who want to start using YouTube, share their memories, or share videos on social media such as Instagram. It can track you when you’re shooting indoors instead of outdoors, or when you’re filming a cooking vlog at home, so you can record everything from taking things out of the fridge to cooking. I think there are many ways to use this drone. You can also shoot your own videos, so if you are interested, please give it a try. You don’t need a flight permit, but of course there are places where you can’t fly, such as private land or near airports, so if it’s private land, you’ll have to check with the owner of the property to see if you can fly.Of course, you can’t fly at airports, so you need to be careful about that. This link is also posted in the overview section, so please take a look. This time, I used the “HOVERAir X1Smart” to take pictures of the spectacular scenery. How was it? See you in the next video! Thank you for watching till the end.

Too scary for me with those heights but thanks to you I was able to see those beautiful places and views.
Inside the cave in the cliff looks like some kind of abandoned giant wasp nest.
Thank you for your insight. I wish to see with my own eyes the places you show here.
National Parks of Japan
