【福岡】2025飾り山笠 今年も博多の街に夏がキター！

On July 1, 2025 , the gorgeously decorated Yamakasa festival will be held at 13 locations in Fukuoka City to mark the opening of the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival. The Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival boasts a 770-year tradition and is a dedication ritual by parishioners to the Gion God of Kushida Shrine. The Kazariyama is a Yamakasa that is decorated for dedication at the Yamakasa festival. It is an ornamental Yamakasa that is 10 to 15 meters tall, and a total of 13 of them, including the Kushida Shrine Kazariyama, are displayed in Fukuoka City. The exhibition period will run until midnight on July 14. Before the Oi Yamakasa begins, the Yamakasa will be dismantled and all the Kazariyamas except for the Kushida Shrine Kazariyama will disappear from Fukuoka City.
