【大阪】コスパ最強‼︎絶景広がる高層階ホテル 大阪マリオット都ホテル
Hello. I’m Taka from Zipang55. I’m currently at Abeno Harukas at Tennoji Station. I’m going to stay at the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel, which is located on the 19th floor of Abeno Harukas. It seems that you can enjoy the spectacular view from Abeno Harukas and the well-equipped lounge. I’ll introduce you to a lot of hotels like this. This channel mainly introduces hotels and tourist spots around the country. It will encourage me to make videos, so I would be happy if you could subscribe to the channel and rate it highly. Now, let’s get started. Abeno Harukas is about 20 minutes by train from Osaka Station. It is about 40 minutes by direct limousine bus and about 1 hour by train from Itami Airport. Abeno Harukas is directly connected to Tennoji Station and has many commercial facilities. It is a 300m high, 60-story building that opened in 2014 and operates as a multi-purpose complex. There is a direct elevator to the hotel lobby. Even if the weather is bad, it’s convenient to be able to go to the hotel without going outside. There is a restaurant and a front desk in the hotel lobby. Today the weather is bad and I can’t see far, but it’s open and very beautiful. You can enjoy lunch and afternoon tea at the cafe in the lobby. The contents vary depending on the season, but when I visited they were holding an Uji matcha afternoon tea. There was also a shop selling cakes. There was also a restaurant that was used as a breakfast venue. It seems that they also have a buffet for dinner. It seems that the bar also holds concerts in the evening. It seems that there is a charge in addition to the drink price, but it seems to be free for guests. The performers seem to change depending on the day. This is the lobby. It is based on white and has large windows, so it feels very open. Opposite is the cafe mentioned earlier. The ceilings are high, so both have a sense of openness. Now that I’ve checked in, I’d like to head to my room. I’m a Marriott Platinum member, so I was upgraded to a deluxe room. The elevator was only accessible by waving my card key and only to the room I was staying in. You can see the view from the elevator hall. The hallway to the room is decorated in a calming color scheme. Now let’s go into the room. This time, it’s a twin-bed room. The bed is spacious and seems to be about the size of a semi-double bed. There is a clock/speaker next to the bed, and a phone that dials directly to the front desk. You can also control the lights in the room with the switch next to the bed. The TV is large and the space is spacious, so it looks neat. The remote control was also in a special leather case. It’s pretty cool. There were pajamas in the drawer under the TV stand. They were very comfortable, and I personally wanted to buy them to take home. There is water and a coffee maker. There were glasses, mugs, teacups, etc. in the cupboard. There was also Japanese tea and black tea. It was openable, and there was an outlet, USB and Type-C charging port. It was stylish and cool. There was a refrigerator below, and various drinks were available. These were charged. The work desk was also a large round table, so it looks like you could eat here. There was also castella on the desk. Let’s take a look at the view from the window. It’s a great view. This time, my room was on a low floor in the hotel, but the view was good. At this high level, I feel like there’s not much difference between the 40th and 50th floors. There was a simple sofa from which I could look outside. There was also an air purifier, so the air was kept clean. There were bathrobes and slippers in the closet. The slippers were fluffy. I was happy that there was also a deodorizing spray. There were also many hangers, which was helpful. Next, I looked at the sink. The sink was spacious and it seemed like you could easily put things there. There were bath towels and a scale underneath. There was also a set of lotion and milky lotion. There was also body lotion. The amenities were all stored in a box. It was luxurious and nice. There was a full set of toothbrushes, combs, shaving gel, etc. There was a SALONIA hair dryer. The toilet was new and clean. The bathroom was the type where the washing area and the bathtub were separated. The shower was only a handheld type, but it could be fixed in any position you like. You can see the view from the bathtub. The bathtub is spacious and you can relax. Two types of bath salts were also prepared. The bathtub can be filled with hot water at a designated time. I will stay in this room for one night. The price was 49,000 points with Marriott Bonvoy points. At a low price, it was 37,000 points, so it seems like a great deal. The normal price is about 40,000 to 60,000 yen per room. I was also given a paper with the opening hours of the restaurant on the 19th floor. The opening hours of the buffet and the performance times at the bar are also written, so it’s easy to understand and helpful. Depending on the day of the week, you can participate in a Japanese dance or zazen experience for free. Since the number of participants is limited, it’s better to apply early. If you have the app, you can use express check-out and just return the card key to the key box. Guests at the Osaka Marriott receive a free ticket to the Abeno Harukas Observatory. You can visit the observation deck on the 60th floor once during your stay. This kind of service is nice. The lounge offers different services depending on the time of use. Afternoon tea is from 14:30 to 17:30, cocktail time is from 17:30 to 19:30, and bar time is from 19:30 to 21:30. Please note that children under 12 years old cannot enter from cocktail time. I was given two types of card keys for the lounge and the room. It would be easier if I could combine them into one. The weather is bad today, but the night view from the room looks great. Now, let’s head to the lounge. The lounge is on the 38th floor, and I entered by holding up my special card key. The inside was quite spacious, with a lot of greenery and a calm atmosphere. Even during afternoon tea, they had beer and other drinks. During this time, they had cakes and other sweets. There were chocolate macarons, pies, potato chips, and more. There were also cakes and scones. You can eat the scones with jam or clotted cream. There were snacks such as konpeito, rice crackers, and peanuts. There were also refrigerated cakes and fruits. There were chiffon cakes, mango pudding, pineapple, grapefruit, melon, and more. There was also a hot dog for hot meals. It’s rare in a lounge. In addition to alcohol, there were canned juices, ginger ale, and Wilkinson. There was also milk, coffee, and Japanese tea. There were also hot drinks such as decaffeinated coffee and cafe latte. I also ordered a hot dog, which was quite large and delicious. I had the impression that the drinks served at this kind of place were not very tasty, but this one was delicious. There was also a unique mixed juice. It was interesting and very Osaka-like. Some hotels do not offer a good afternoon tea, but Osaka Marriott has a very good one. If you use it with the platinum member benefits, it is very cost-effective. It would be nice to have a meal here while chatting. Now, I would like to introduce the facilities in the hotel and some of Abeno Harukas. There is a fitness gym on the same floor as the lounge. Before using it, you fill out a consent form and enter. There was water and towels in the gym. The running machines were set up in a place where you could see the outside view. There were other general equipment as well. There is a conference room nearby, and if you make a reservation, you can use it for work. If you take the elevator down a little from the front desk on the 19th floor, you will find the entrance to the observation deck. From here, take the elevator up to the top floor to get to the observation deck. On the same floor, there was an art museum and a rest area in the courtyard. It was often used by local students. The restaurant floor is on the 12th and 13th floors. It is very convenient to have a variety of restaurants in the same building. Now, let’s visit the cocktail time lounge. The cocktail time meals were also substantial. There was bread and steamed bread for carbohydrates. There was also corn soup. Fried foods include squid rings and spring rolls. There was also cheese and bread. There were also small Japanese dishes. They all looked delicious. There were gratins, warm vegetables, fresh spring rolls, salads, and other snacks . There was also salmon and prosciutto. The sweets were the same as those at the afternoon tea. The desserts were almost the same as those at the afternoon tea. I feel like there are more things like raspberry cakes. In addition to beer, there was whiskey, cocktails, sake, etc., which could be drunk freely. There were many types of alcohol, including cocktails and sake, which could be drunk freely. There were many types of alcohol, and it was nice that you could drink freely by yourself. The food during cocktail time was also quite substantial. Recently, many places only serve snacks during cocktail time, but this place can be used as a substitute for dinner. Everything tasted delicious. There are many types of alcohol, so you can spend your time leisurely. I think this is one of the most substantial lounges available with platinum membership status. It’s a shame that you can’t see the outside view from the lounge . After relaxing for a while, I would like to head to the observation deck of Abeno Harukas. I was able to see a beautiful sunset from the window in the lobby. There were a lot of clouds today, but I was able to see a beautiful sunset. You can also see Tsutenkaku Tower nearby, so you can see a nice view. Now I would like to head to the observation deck. If you hand over the exchange ticket at the reception, you will receive an admission ticket. It usually costs about 2,000 yen per adult, so it feels like a good deal. We took the elevator to the 60th floor. The elevator had a transparent ceiling and was lit up. It was beautiful, as if we were running through the stars. The observation deck had a 360-degree view of the surroundings. This is the night view. It was very beautiful. I was surprised that the night view was even more beautiful than I expected. Tsutenkaku looks small. There was a restaurant on the floor below. There was also a height comparison table of Abeno Harukas. The observation deck seems to be higher than Tokyo Tower. There was also an LCD panel with the names written on it, so it was easy to understand where everything was. They collaborated with Godzilla and sold goods. The size of Godzilla varies depending on the series. The largest Godzilla seems to be about the same size as Abeno Harukas. The observation deck was quite crowded with foreign tourists. It was the only place that wasn’t in Japan, and most of the people were foreigners. It was crowded during the night view time, but you can see a wonderful view, so please visit. Now, I would like to return to the room. When I returned to the room, the turndown service was available and the bed was made. There was a spray for adding scents and a paper with the weather forecast for tomorrow. What a thoughtful service. The night view from the room was also beautiful. It’s wonderful to be able to relax while looking at such a view. I’m going to have a good rest today. Good morning. I was able to get a good rest. Now I’m going to go to the lounge for breakfast. There was a salad where the alcohol was yesterday. There were about three types of dressing. There were many types of bread, sweet bread. There was also bread, and you can toast it. There was also gluten-free bread and round bread. There was also corn soup. There was also meat and bean salad. There was miso soup , porridge , white rice, and Japanese dishes. All the Japanese side dishes looked delicious. There was also a wide variety of side dishes to go with the rice, such as tamagoyaki (egg rolls) and other dishes. There were sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, etc. There was also takoyaki, which is typical of Osaka. There was also ham, cheese, cream and jam for pancakes. The pancakes had the Marriott logo on them. There was also hot coffee. In the refrigerated area, there was yogurt, salmon, and fruit. There were also fresh grapefruit juice, orange juice, low-fat milk, and soy milk. There were also corn flakes. For egg dishes, I ordered a truffle-flavored tortilla. For egg dishes, you order by filling out the order form on the table. The breakfast was also substantial. Lounges often have a limited variety of breakfasts, but this place has a wide variety of dishes. They have both Japanese and Western food, and they were all delicious. The grapefruit juice I had here was rich and very delicious. Normally , breakfast is served at a restaurant on the 19th floor, but there were few people here and it had a calm atmosphere. The opening hours are long, so I think you can spend your mornings leisurely. So what did you think of the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel? It was a hotel with a spectacular view from the high floors and a substantial lounge. It is also easily accessible to tourist attractions, so I think it is a great hotel to stay at. If you are visiting Osaka, please consider staying here. I hope this video will be of some help to you on your travels.
