【大阪 カプセルホテル】人をだめにするホテル |サウナ&スパ カプセルホテル 大東洋レディース 宿泊レビュー
Hi there! I’m Kita-san 😀 I’m in Umeda, Osaka right now. Before heading to the hotel, I’m going to check out the green frog. Ah! There it is! Let’s get a little closer. Huh!? Wait, it’s a bear!? Now that I look closely… yeah, definitely a bear. Anyway, let’s head to the hotel. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station on the Midosuji Subway Line. Tonight I’m staying at Sauna & Spa Capsule Hotel Daitoyo. They have a women-only capsule section along with a sauna and spa. Check-in starts at noon, but capsule rooms are available from 3 PM. First, let’s check in at the front desk. I scanned the barcode on the wristband they gave me to settle the bill. It says ¥0 because I already paid online. Since I can’t enter the capsule room yet, I’ll head to the spa. The women’s sauna and spa are on the basement floor. Heading down the stairs… Scan the barcode again. Shoe lockers for capsule guests…? It says “Your shoe locker key also opens your capsule locker. Please return it to the front desk when you leave.” But I can’t find a locker with the same number as my key… So where am I supposed to put my shoes??? I wandered around aimlessly for a bit… Then I tried going up to the 2nd floor, where the women-only capsules are. I’m out of breath from going up and down the stairs… (*´д`) Huff huff Sorry if I sound a bit winded… (*´д`) I made it. There was a shoe locker with my number on the 2nd floor! Looking closely… it actually says “2F” on the key 😅 Oh, these must be the slippers for capsule guests! So I should wear these slippers to go to the spa. Scan the barcode here too. The entrance to the capsule room is still closed with a blind. There are lockers exclusively for capsule hotel guests. Found a locker with the same number as my key! Wow, it’s pretty narrow… There’s already a bag inside the locker. A bath towel and a small towel. And some lounge wear. The lounge wear here is loose-fitting and super comfy! Uh-oh! My backpack doesn’t fit. Oh well, I’ll leave it in the luggage area on the 1st floor. They don’t offer luggage storage after checkout. Suitcases and rolling bags aren’t allowed inside the building. You can borrow a wire lock at the front desk. Alright! (Genbaneko 🐱) Heading back to the spa now! To reach the women’s spa, you’ll need to take the stairs—there’s no elevator. Let’s try again! The brown lockers with keys are for spa & sauna day users only. The slipper rack is for capsule hotel guests. Got it now! A safe for valuables. A charging station. Towels and bath towels are available for free. At Daitoyo Ladies, you can enjoy five different types of baths. The spa has high ceilings and a spacious atmosphere. There are three kinds of saunas: high-temp, Finnish, and mist. The high-temp sauna offers one of Japan’s largest “aufguss” experiences. There are two types of cold baths with different temperatures, and you can relax on the infinity chairs nearby. You can use the ganban-yoku (hot stone bath) once a day for up to 55 minutes! It even comes with a dedicated cooling room. After my bath, I chilled out on B2 until it was time to check in. There’s a tatami-mat lounging area. And a restaurant, too. For some reason, there are photo books and old magazines lying around… They had massages available, so I made a reservation. They also offer esthetic treatments. There’s a manga library as well. Let’s see what’s in the darker corner back there. Turns out it’s a reclining area where you can take a nap. Each seat has its own TV. You can charge your phone, too. 😴 It’s 3 PM, so I’m heading to my capsule room. Wow, the lounge area looks so nice and clean! There are two capsule sections. Looks like mine is this way. Found it. Glad I got a bottom bunk. *Click* (Boyacky style 😏) Looks clean and cozy! I’ve stepped into the capsule room. Let’s start a quick room tour. The futon and pillow are super fluffy. The mattress is made by Airweave. There’s a TV. And earphones. The TV angle is adjustable. Hotel TVs always take forever to turn on. Why is that? Here’s the light switch. You can adjust the brightness. There’s also a switch for the headboard light. And there’s a power outlet and USB port. A ventilation dial here. Turn it to the left to open it, and to the right to close it. There’s an emergency exit map and facility guide on the wall. This is what the ceiling looks like. When I stayed, it cost ¥4,200 with breakfast. At the time of this video, the rates were around ¥4,500 to ¥6,500. Let’s go check out some of the other facilities. Let’s start by turning right. There’s a workspace area here. It has wired LAN, power outlets, and USB ports. Back at the lounge again. The tables have USB ports. The lounge serves as the breakfast area from 6 to 9 AM. There’s a water dispenser. A microwave. And a selection of drinks. The center section is for free drinks! You can buy from the vending machines by scanning your barcode. Payment is settled at checkout. Same goes for alcoholic beverages. There’s a powder room in the back. It has light-up mirrors, which are great for doing your makeup. They even have sanitized hairbrushes. There are actually two powder rooms. This one doesn’t have chairs—you get ready standing up. They have hair dryers and irons from various brands. There’s a valuables box near the entrance. If it’s chilly when heading to the spa, you can borrow a light jacket. Here’s the washroom area. Towels are available here. Hair dryers, cotton pads, and skincare products. Toothbrushes, too. There’s also a wide variety of skincare products. The washroom has sanitized hairbrushes as well. Here’s the coin laundry. No detergent needed, and here’s the price list. There’s one shower room on the second floor. You can lock the door. A basket for your clothes. And two hangers. It’s relatively clean. They provide face soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There’s a restroom in the back of the washroom. It’s clean and well-maintained. Here’s a floor map of the 2nd floor. Rules and guest guidelines are posted. It’s time for my massage, so I’m heading to B2. Since there’s no elevator to B2, I get off at the 1st floor. And now I’ve arrived on B2. I chose the 40-minute full-body massage course. Ahhh, that felt amazing! After the massage, they serve you flavored tea. Now that I’m fully relaxed, time for dinner! You place your order using a touchscreen panel. Then scan the barcode on your wristband. You’ll pay when you check out. I went with the most popular item—Daitoyo’s special champon noodles. It was loaded with veggies and super tasty 😋 After eating, take your tray to the return counter. Back up to the 2nd floor now. It’s cold tonight, so I’ll borrow a blanket. They also have rechargeable hot water bottles! I’ll borrow one of those too. It took a while for the hot water bottle to warm up… Alright, time to get some sleep. Can’t sleep… (But not because the bed’s uncomfortable) Maybe I’ll go for a walk to the nearby convenience store. If you want to go out, you need to settle your bill at the kiosk first. Then head to the front desk to get an “outing slip.” When you return, hand the slip to the front desk and they’ll give your locker key back. Daitoyo’s neon lights look so cool at night. Time to give sleep another shot 😑 Good morning 🥱 I’m having breakfast in the lounge. Toasting some bread in the fancy Aladdin toaster. Cheese bread? Boiled egg. The bread was super thick, fluffy, and absolutely delicious!! Checkout is at 10 AM. Return your bag, towel, and loungewear to the return box. Thank you, Daitoyo! It’s the kind of capsule hotel you’ll never want to leave. Thanks so much for watching! Hope to see you again 😉
