It was an experiential event that focuses on people and technology that nurture the future of robots. Many robots that actually move are on display. This is a basketball robot. 96 (Q6) The world Guinness record for the number of free throws made: 2020. A long shot of about 24 meters. This robot also holds a Guinness record. This is a high-speed sorting robot. It recognizes three colors and then puts them into a bottle at high speed with dexterous hand movements. When it’s all in, it turns the bottle upside down and repeats. This movement is so fast that humans can’t match it. You can also have a sorting match with a robot. This is a demonstration that shows the strength of a robot using Kurohige’s Crisis . The rule is that if you insert the black stinger into the hole that hits the target, you can avoid it by returning it without inserting it all the way . When you insert a sword into the winning hole, the robot will have a different sensation than the others, and you can compete against a human to see who has the better sense, by recognizing that sensation and avoiding it . The robots have started to play. The robots are agile, but when they stab, they insert it very gently. From here, they will fly at four times the speed. There is only one hole left. When the sword is inserted, the black thread that pops out is caught by the robot next to it. This is a robot that flexes and extends its legs to quickly absorb the weight even when a 20kg weight falls on it . This is a humanoid robot running at full speed. This robot will be able to run at 13.8km per hour, the same speed as an elementary school student, in May 2025. This exhibit shows how AI robots can solve this problem . This is a strawberry packing robot. It prepares a tray, picks up the strawberries one by one, and checks whether there are any strawberries that are not in the plan before placing them. If the strawberries are not up to standard, they are placed on this sponge. The previous robot repeated a set movement, but this is an introduction corner for robots that automatically change their movement according to the environment. Can robots do work in place of people? This is the kind of exhibit corner . Here, a robot that cleans up a student cafeteria is on display. It automatically judges leftover food, sorts it according to what is inside, and puts the plate in . When the tray comes, it shines some kind of light on it to check what is on it . It separates paper waste, food, etc. Next is a corner where the skills of the manufacturing workers are taught to the robot. There was also a corner where robot competitions were held. The event was called the World Robot Summit, and the content of the competition was the Future Convenience Store Challenge . It was a collaborative project aimed at realizing the convenience store of the future, which uses robot technology to reduce the burden on employees and provide new services to customers . They competed on how quickly and carefully they could display the rice balls stored in a container . A team of university students participated. This competition will be held in Fukushima Prefecture in October and Aichi Prefecture in December. Various 3D printers were on display. There was an exhibit called Teaching, which teaches robots to perform tasks. The robot arm is moved directly and memorized how it was moved . It is a technology that does not use advanced programs, but records the movements made by the technician exactly as they are moved. There was an experience of memorizing the initial movements. There was also a conversation corner with a robot. A robot is pushing a wheelchair and providing care. This is the advantage of making a robot similar to a human. A robot can be close to a person, work together with them, and become a life partner that laughs and cries. That is the kind of exhibit. The exhibition corner reminded me of the Future of Life Pavilion at the Signature Favilion. Humanoid robots, or androids, will converse with people, provide care, and become indispensable to humans. This is a corner where robots communicate with people. They talked a lot while using gestures. This is a robot that automatically cleans the floor of a toilet. This is a video of the opening show of Future Robot Week. In 2050, the productive population will decrease by 20 million people. This will cause various social problems little by little.
