The Gion Festival’s Shinko Festival was held on the evening of July 17, 2025, with three mikoshi (portable shrines) traveling from Yasaka Shrine (Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City) to Shijo Otabisho (Shijo-dori Teramachi Higashi-iru, Shimogyo Ward).
