千葉の親子三代夏祭り
1976年の千葉開府850年の節目の年に始まり、今年で50回目の開催となる伝統的な夏祭りです。その名の通り、小さいお子さまからご高齢の方まで、親子三代に渡って参加できるという意味が込められており、ご家族で楽しめるイベントが満載となっています。お祭りには毎年30万人以上の方々が参加され、千葉市の一大イベントとして夏を彩っています。威勢の良いみこしや山車の渡御をはじめ、パレード、よさこい鳴子踊りなど盛り上がるイベントが満載です。祭りのラストを飾るのは2千人規模で街を練り歩く「千葉おどり」。和太鼓の勇壮な響きにあわせて、一緒に踊りませんか。飛び入り参加も大歓迎。
Chiba’s Three Generations Summer Festival
This traditional summer festival, which began in 1976, marking the 850th anniversary of the founding of Chiba Prefecture, is now in its 50th year. As its name suggests, it’s a festival that can be enjoyed by three generations of parents and children, from young children to the elderly, and is packed with events the whole family can enjoy. More than 300,000 people participate in the festival every year, making it Chiba City’s biggest summer event. It’s packed with exciting events, including the dynamic procession of mikoshi (portable shrines) and floats, parades, and Yosakoi Naruko dances. The festival concludes with the “Chiba Odori,” a dance where 2,000 people parade through the city. Why not join in and dance to the mighty sounds of Japanese drums? Walk-ins are also welcome.
