「中秋の名月」となった６日夜、岐阜市早田の長良川河川敷からは、ほぼ真ん丸の月が岐阜城の背後から昇っていく光景が見られた。

　「中秋の名月」となった6日、三重県伊賀市を流れる木津川の堤防上には約1．5キロ離れた伊賀上野城と中秋の名月を撮影しようと10人ほどのカメラマンが集まった。午後5時過ぎ、山の稜線（りょうせん）から中秋の名月が見えると歓声が上がり、日の入り直前の夕日を浴びる伊賀上野城の背後を昇っていった。

Just after 5pm, cheers erupted as the Mid-Autumn Moon came into view from the mountain ridge, rising behind Iga Ueno Castle, which was bathed in the setting sun just before sunset.
