Tens of thousands of cosmos bloom in profusion across the fields from mid- to late October, creating a beautiful backdrop for the charming windmills in the background. Sakuma Dam Waterfront Park: Sakuma Dam, an agricultural dam in Kyonan Town, Chiba Prefecture. This area is famous for its cherry blossoms and daffodils, but it also boasts clusters of red spider lilies, and the lakeside is dyed red with red spider lilies every year around the time of the equinox. Komatsu-ji Temple is a historic temple dating back to the Heian period, famous for its bronze eleven-faced Kannon statue, a nationally designated important cultural property, and its temple bell, a prefecturally designated tangible cultural property. The “Waterfall Tour Hiking Course,” which starts at Awamatano Falls and runs along the Awamatano Falls valley, is approximately 2 kilometers long.
