【千葉観光】コスパ最高!鴨川市のグルメと観光を堪能するドライブ旅行!千葉旅行vlog
Good morning! This is bien. I’m taking a day trip to Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture , about two hours by train from Tokyo. Kamogawa City is blessed with abundant nature and many beautiful tourist spots. The fresh seafood from the city’s lush ocean is also a draw. There are also many hot springs and tourist attractions within the city, with Kamogawa Sea World being particularly famous. By the way, as of October 1, 2025, the population is 29,540. This time, I’m going on a road trip around Kamogawa City. Please watch until the end. The transfer distance from Tokyo Station is endless. From Tokyo Station, I’ll take the Keiyo Line to Katsuura and Kamogawa. It’s been a while since I’ve been on the Keiyo Line, so it’s quite far. I’ll take the Wakashio 1 to Katsuura. I changed at Katsuura and headed to Awa-Kamogawa. It was a long way, and I couldn’t believe it was the same station. It’s about 480 meters from the Marunouchi Line . Depending on the time of day , you can get to Awa-Kamogawa Station in one go. Since I’m heading on the Wakashio 1, the express train only goes as far as Katsuura. It’s about a two-hour train journey from Tokyo, and I’ll be eating bread and dorayaki as I head there. The train will stop at Tokyo , Kaihin Makuhari Soga, Oami Mobara, Kazusa Ichinomiya Ohara, and Onjuku Katsuura. I’ve entered Chiba Prefecture, and Disney Resort can be seen in the distance to my right. I’ve entered Chiba Prefecture. I usually take the Sobu Line, so it looks different from the Keiyo Line when I arrive in Katsuura. I’ll take the train on the opposite side to Awa-Kamogawa Station. From Katsuura, I’ll change to the Sotobo Line and arrive at Awa-Kamogawa Station for about 30 minutes, my first time in my life . This time, I’ll be driving around in a car share rental car , so let ‘s go. Anyway , it’s still 9:30 in the morning, so I have some time before lunch , so I’ll head to the observation deck. This is my first time in front of Kamogawa Station. This is Kamogawa Station. This is what the roads are like. Driving in the Kanto region is a bit more difficult. Even if you go a little further out, there are still pedestrians and cyclists, so it’s a bit scary. The Kamo River is a second-class river. I haven’t had noodles recently, so ramen would be nice. This street is a major chain chain zone, Route 128 The Otobo Kuroshio Line was super crowded from the morning . The road is a bit narrow. This is it. Observation Deck . Apparently there’s another parking lot for the observation deck , but the road to the other one, closer, is so narrow that it’s dangerous even for a minicar, so I’ll pass. This is it! Park Parking Lot. I guess I have no choice but to walk from here. I’ll walk from the park parking lot. Go straight and head to Uomizuka Observatory . It’s a 6- minute walk. Wow, the view’s already great! I can see the ocean in the distance . If it’s only 6 minutes from here, it might be better to park in the larger parking lot. Well , I won’t know until I get there, but how narrow is this? No trespassing. Oath Hill. Where do I get off from? Does that mean I’m going from here? Does that mean I’ll take this road? Looks like I’ll just go straight. Ah, it’s already pretty amazing. The view is so beautiful ! Oh, what a view! 200 meters to the observation deck. It certainly takes a bit of courage to drive through here . I don’t think there will be any oncoming traffic, but isn’t this road closed to cars ? It looks like it’s scary unless you’re on a motorcycle . It might be scary unless you have a small car like a Swift , but it’s only 200m so you can get there easily on foot. If that’s the case, it’s probably best to walk. For now, the store isn’t open yet so I came here with the feeling that I’d go to a nearby view spot , but the view is even more amazing than I expected . The view is good even from here, but it’s still a bit hard to see with a camera. I think if you walk a little further you’ll reach the observation deck. This time of year is probably the best. It’s not too cold, not too hot, and there aren’t any insects in particular. In Tokyo, it was around 25 degrees yesterday and the day before yesterday, but now it’s about 15 degrees . It suddenly dropped by about 10 degrees and the wind is really cold. Oh, and there ‘s a parking lot here. The parking lot here is quite large and can accommodate many cars, but here 帰りました。 English: The road leading up to here is narrow, it’s quite narrow. I would hesitate to drive through here unless I ‘m absolutely sure there will be no oncoming vehicles . I’m now in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. It feels like I’ve climbed a mountain up here in a rental car . I haven’t reached the observation deck yet , so it feels like I’ll be climbing even higher from here. I’ll be climbing from here. I prefer slopes to stairs , so let’s go up the slope . Slopes are surprisingly less tiring. If you talk while climbing the stairs, your breathing tends to get out of whack. The view was great from the parking lot, so it must be really nice . If you climb up here, your legs will start to tire after a while . It’s quite a climb, it took ten times longer than I expected . And then I arrived at the observation deck. The view is amazing. You can see 360 degrees , not just in one direction . This is what’s good about this place . The curve of this beach is beautiful . There’s a school there. I heard the bell. It’s the mouth of the river. The rivers are connected and the view is great. There are mountains in the background, and the sea, mountains, and town all lined up. Wow, this is a really beautiful view. There are people here. Surfers? Humans? Not surfers . Looking closely, I wonder if this is a fishing port. Are there any shops around here that are open in the morning? They seem to be open. There are so many . No, it was a wonderful view. I have to go back up these stairs again . I go back under the observation deck and go further behind it. Apparently there is a shrine. It’s called the inner shrine and there’s also a key . Oh, the main shrine is over here. The main shrine is 80 meters away. There ‘s a tree that’s fallen. Is it okay? Is this a fallen tree? Hasn’t it been like this for a while ? It’s fallen, quite a lot . Isn’t this area dangerous? The trees around here are rotting away. It’s a sight I’ve never seen before. Amazing. Is this the result of a typhoon or something? There is a shrine here. Arrival. It doesn’t seem like many people are coming and going. You can get a faint view of the sea from this side. So next up is dinner. I’m heading there straight away as it’s apparently a popular restaurant in Kamogawa City. It’s a weekday so I think it should be okay, but I heard there could be an hour wait, so I guess I should arrive 15 minutes before opening. They apparently have a sashimi set meal, which I’m looking forward to. My destination is 3km from here, and it looks like I just have to go straight for a while. It’s a nostalgic men’s clothing store called Konaka, which I haven’t seen in a while. There are still 20 minutes until they open, so I think I can eat without waiting , but apparently they start putting my name down 30 minutes before, so it’s probably best to write your name down. So where is the parking lot ? Cars are already pulling in. Oh, there’s a name pad . Amazing, even on a weekday … There’s a line of people writing their names. I’m amazed! I was shown to a spacious seat like this. The menu looks like this. There are also a few a la carte dishes. They also have a daily menu. Amazing ! It was full within five minutes of opening. Even on weekdays it gets so crowded, so it’s good that I came early. I had to come about 10 minutes early and write my name down, or it would fill up soon. My order arrived. The sashimi set meal looks like this. And this is the boiled golden eye set meal. Seeing it with the naked eye, it was huge! About three times bigger than I imagined. I also ordered the a la carte dish, horse mackerel namero. After the boiled fish, I had it with kelp, sashimi, and namero. What a feast! Next, I headed to a scenic spot up the mountain. I continued on Prefectural Route 34, arriving with 5.3km to go. The scenery has changed. From here, I wonder if the mountain path , or rather , the climb , begins. The combination of yellow flowers and silver grass is very thin. It seems like it might be difficult if an oncoming car comes. It doesn’t seem like it will come, but will it? 間と一緒に おすすめです ! English: Good thing we weren’t in a tunnel! I can see something ! It suddenly appeared! Amazing! We arrived at the Oyama Senmaida parking lot . There are lots of persimmons here! I wonder if they’re good! And a few minutes’ walk from the parking lot is an observation deck ! Isn’t that one? It looks like an observation deck! If you go over there and then turn around, a wonderful view awaits you! I found a mushroom ! It’s really white ! What kind of mushroom is it ? It’s in a really peaceful place! The scenery is already beautiful! It might be better to come when the green is a little more beautiful, but Chiba Prefecture has a lot of country roads like this , so it’s recommended for a leisurely drive ! Where should I start looking at it ? I wonder if it’s best to look at it from here ! It’s a little bit of a strange time of year, but it’s beautiful! It’s even more beautiful with the naked eye! It’s rare to be able to see such a wide area from one place, so it ‘s amazing ! Ah, is this lit up ? There are definitely lights embedded in it at night ! It’s really lit up ! I’d like to see it after dark ! This side is amazing! What kind of lights are these? I wonder if it’s an LED light bulb. There ‘s a bar embedded in it. I wonder what it’s like at night. Does it have a German village feel ? Along with the wonderful scenery, please subscribe to my channel and rate it highly. Please also check out the video from Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture. There are persimmon trees here and there . Next, we’ll travel about 20 kilometers to a hidden spot. It might be a bit tricky to go when it’s dark, but we’ll go anyway. Only 5 kilometers left until our next destination. We’re currently heading along Prefectural Route 24. We continued to climb and entered Kimitsu City . We were sightseeing on the Kamo River, but it seems like we just overshot the mark (in terms of the address). We’ve arrived at our destination. So if we park here and walk, we’ll arrive. I wonder how long it will take from the parking lot to our destination? Maybe 5-10 minutes ? The promenade looks like this, quite wide and straight, and paved, making it very easy to walk. However, there are no signs saying how many meters, so I have no idea how many meters we’ll walk. After walking for about 5 minutes, we came to a plaza , or rather a wide area . Isn’t this the waterfall ? Isn’t it Kameiwa Cave ? Aren’t we supposed to go down from here? If you go down the stairs, you’ll see a river and waterfall flowing through a tunnel, which is a sight you’re not used to seeing. It ‘s man-made, isn’t it? It’s an artificial landscape created by construction , so let’s go and see it right away. The sign at the parking lot entrance doesn’t say Kameiwa Cave, so you might miss the entrance if you look carefully. It ‘s better to look for the parking lot at the Lucky Bell (it’s written on a large sign). This cave was created about 350 years ago , so it’s a bit strange to say it’s man-made, but it’s quite a mysterious sight. Is this the other side of that cave ? I wonder if you can see the other side . You can go down here, but there’s a risk of rockfalls and landslides. It’s scary. It’s getting scary all of a sudden , so I’ll stop here for now . Wow, it’s so beautiful ! What a wonderful view ! The problem is when to get off! It looks really nice when you see it head on! I wonder what month is best ! It would be beautiful in autumn, wouldn’t it? If you imagine this all dyed red , it would be a great road . Looking at it like this, it’s really nice! Beautiful! It would be good if it was pudding! It was delicious ! The opposite lane is jammed. I need to estimate it will take twice as long to get back towards the station, otherwise I might miss the return time of my rental car. Next, I’ll head to the seaside again. Yamahira Shoten. It looks like a good place to buy sashimi. Anyway, this is like this all over the country. I’ve been to fishing ports all over the country , but I haven’t bought any sashimi at fishmongers. I haven’t bought much since Amami Oshima . There’s hardly any traffic along this coast. Suddenly, the main road I was on before is way ahead of me. The sea comes into view. It’s visible in the distance. Natural beauty and the legendary island scenic spot, Niemonjima. I wonder if there are boats out? Wow , the ocean stretches out. The wind is stronger than I thought . It’s right there, but the boats aren’t operating. It was a hundred times closer than I imagined . It was so close, I think I could swim out if I really tried. The boats weren’t operating today . It seemed closed, so I guess I’ll head to the nearby road station next . There’s a small torii gate and shrine here too. For now, if I go straight along this coast, I should find the road station, so I think I can get there without using a navigation system . I’m heading along Prefectural Route 247. The trees are densely packed together. They grow in an amazing way. They ‘re so close, they’re all swooping up . Wow, it’s nice. Driving along the coast is the best, after all. There’s a sign. Two kilometers ahead. Road station Kamogawa Ocean Park I was surprised to see Spiderman out of nowhere. There were Spiderman and Batman dolls. If you turn left here, you’ll arrive at Ocean Park. I’ve never tried freshly made jelly before . There seems to be a shop, direct sales outlet , restaurant, and souvenir shop . There are also toilets. There was no one there at all. It ‘s open from 9am to 5pm so it should be open. There are dolphins and a bridge, and if you cross this bridge you’ll find the souvenir shop. Going further in, there were lots of souvenirs for sale, so I bought some. Is this a water play area? Does it seem like water collects here in the summer ? This is the splash pool. That’s right, thank you, Ocean Park. And today is a day trip, a whirlwind sightseeing drive, so it went by so quickly. There are only about two hours left . Chiba Prefecture is pretty big, so maybe a three-day, two-night trip around the entire area from the outer Boso Peninsula to the inner Boso Peninsula wouldn’t be a bad idea. I’d like to go to Tateyama for the first time in a while , Tateyama was pretty nice too. And then we arrived. Next up was a cafe. It was nice and relaxing, so we took a break here and enjoyed the view of the ocean. Right in front of the cafe is the beach, and there were lots of surfers. What an amazing view . If you ‘re in a wetsuit, do you think it’s okay to be so cold? Your hands, feet, and face are cold, and the seawater is cold, so why don’t you get cold? Are you actually okay ? The scenery is full of tropical vibes. It’s a little dark, but if it’s sunny, it will be a tropical experience. Let’s take a break at the cafe. The atmosphere inside the cafe is like this. It’s really stylish, and you can see the ocean from the seats. Let’s take a break while sipping hot drinks. Originally I wasn’t planning on ordering, but it looked so delicious and it had been a while since I had it, so I ordered pizza. Pizza eaten while looking at the sea view was incredibly delicious. I had only planned to have coffee, but somehow I ended up eating pizza and relaxing. Ah,
I’d like to come again on a sunny day. And so I did. Odoya I ‘m sure the local supermarket is open from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm. I could have bought some sashimi at 8:30 am. It all went by so quickly, but it was fun. Next time I’ll go back, I took the express train, but on the way back I’ll take the bus. It gets dark early at this time of year, after all . But day trips like this aren’t so bad, either. This time, I took a day trip to Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. By the way, this channel also posts videos of my travels around Japan. Please take this opportunity to subscribe to the channel and rate it highly. Thank you for watching.
