MoriokaHello ! It’s Mori! Travel is an investment in yourself, so I’m bringing you a great value bar-hopping trip to Morioka! I deliberately stuck to deep-rooted establishments and enjoyed a two-day, one-night trip. I think I might have found the best drink of my life! Be sure to watch it over and over again on the big screen! Here you go! Morioka, the central city of northern Tohoku, is a water city where the Kitakami River and Shizukuishi River meet. Its population is approximately 280,000 (as of 2025). Mount Iwate towers over the city, and the contrast of the four seasons tickles the wanderlust of travelers. Historically, it developed as a castle town of the Nanbu Domain. Although the castle was lost, the beautiful stone walls remain as Morioka Castle Ruins Park, and in spring, the “Ishiwari Cherry Blossoms” become a symbol of the city. During the Meiji period, modern buildings such as the former Morioka Bank Red Brick Building were built, and the Japanese-Western fusion landscape still thrives. The gourmet food is dominated by the three major noodles: chewy and refreshing Morioka cold noodles, and flavorful miso to change the flavor. Enjoy the fun Jajamen and Wankosoba, where bowls are piled up at a good pace. In addition , there are meat dishes from Iwate, including Maezawa beef. Breakfast is served at long-established bread shops , and evenings finish off with bar-hopping in the alleys – the Morioka way. The fastest access is by Tohoku Shinkansen, which takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes from Tokyo. From Hanamaki Airport, take a bus to Morioka Station, which takes about 45 to 60 minutes. From the Shinkansen exit, you can easily get to the city center on foot or by local bus. You can easily get around the city by walking or by bus. Let’s enjoy a little-known gem of a trip for adults that you can thoroughly enjoy even if you only have one night and two days. Shin-Aomori Station → Morioka Station. Let’s start our Morioka bar hopping. Here we go! I came straight from the Aomori Nebuta Festival in Morioka. The Aomori Nebuta Festival is expensive, so it’s cheaper to go via Morioka and experience Morioka before heading home, so I decided to come here on short notice. But Morioka has something called the Sansa Odori dance. I came to Morioka four or five years ago to shoot a video for Iwate, and I stopped off there for a drink. The population is about 200,000, and it’s declining quite rapidly, so I wonder what kind of town it is. I don’t know if everything is delicious, but I’m listening. First I’ll go drop off my luggage at the hotel. It’s a bit rainy today, but rain doesn’t really affect bar hopping. In fact, it might be a good thing that it makes it easier to enter places that you normally can’t get into. By the way, I came from Shin-Aomori to Morioka by bullet train, but I’m going back by plane, so I’ll need to check the flight route too. What’s this… Morioka has been affected quite a bit by the Aomori Nebuta Festival. There are no places to stay in Aomori, so some people are staying in Morioka and then going to the Buta Festival. There it is! There it is, Four Points Flex by Sheraton. In the Marriott area, the annual fee for the Marriott Bonvoy card has increased! It ‘s really popular today, but I’ll make good use of it . Four Points Flex by Sheraton. I’ll be in room 608. It’s like this. It has a business hotel feel, but with a Marriott twist. The bed is really simple, and the table is… well, it feels perfect for working. The TV is small, and there’s a really simple fridge with small things in it. There are hangers around here, and there’s a unit bath and toilet like this. It ‘s clean, so I’ll use this as my base for bar hopping. The Wi-Fi speed is pretty decent, I’m curious. 40Mbps upload? How fast !? Upload is… well… ah! But it’s about 30Mbps. It ‘s not that fast, but it’s not bad , it feels like the bare minimum. It really feels the same as this room, a minimum of 30Mbps. It’s raining, so I’m going to call a taxi using the Go app and head out!! No good , I ca n’t get one for some reason. I’m going to walk! So this is Morioka Station. Is this the south side? South side? East side? Well, it seems to be pretty lively ! Morioka is a lively place. I’ve been there once, but I don’t remember much about it. This time, I want to have an even more memorable meal. Last time, I tried Morioka cold noodles, yakiniku, wankosoba, and jajamen. There are what are called the three major noodles in Morioka. I remember eating all of them and feeling like I was going to burst. It’s a little late, so I thought I could get a taxi around here, but they refused . I headed to the next restaurant , the first one recommended by a viewer. I went to Umigohan Shimaka. It’s probably a popular restaurant, but it’s empty because it’s raining. I’m so lucky ! They’re closing early at 8pm today , so I can only have one drink, which is impossible. Next … I’m going to another place that was recommended to me. There’s a place like this too . I thought it was Morio’s, but it sounds like Morio’s Inakaya . I was thinking of going to a yakiniku restaurant, but I can’t help but be curious about the restaurant I went to earlier. It seems to have good reviews, and I read that Yoshida Rui has been there too, so I ‘m curious about this izakaya with a Google rating of 4.3. I recommend the Donbei . I have to order the sashimi platter . The big minced meat cutlet is interesting . The “seasonal” wild vegetable and bracken tempura is good! I’ll have the appetizer . We’ve arrived. Morioka has started. Morioka. And… Morio’s… Morio’s Inakaya x What was it again ? I forgot the name. I remember it being written. It’s a sure thing. This is amazing quality. It’s also… thick. If I were to eat this in the city , I would probably cut it into another third . Is one-third an exaggeration? No… but it’s possible, it’s possible . It’s so thick ~ so delicious~ so wonderful . I just ate it in Aomori, so it ‘s still delicious. Both are delicious. Wow, this is amazing . The place with a similar name is Morio’s Inaka- ya, for sure. Is this one there? Flounder? Yes ! Everything is delicious. This isn’t rice, it’s mountain yam. Now, this is mountain yam tekimawari, and although it looks like rice, it’s actually mountain yam. It even has wasabi on it, so it’s healthy, delicious, and crunchy . It’s interesting and looks good too . Natto with seaweed oil. Natto with seaweed oil. I said to eat it with mustard soy sauce or salt, but I can’t imagine natto with seaweed oil. It’s so delicious. I’ve never eaten anything like this. This is what travel is all about! It really does feel like you’ve come all the way to a place like this , being able to eat flavors you’ve never tried before , and there’s a lot of that in Tohoku in particular. For people from Kansai, when they eat unfamiliar foods like this and learn about unfamiliar cultures, it feels like their previous knowledge and tolerance is suddenly shattered and expanded. This is true for traveling abroad, but even within Japan, in places they don’t usually go to, like Hokkaido for someone from Okinawa, I’m sure a lot of their concepts will be shattered. Even for me as a Kansai person, it’s important that everything is shattered whether I go to Okinawa, Tohoku, or Hokkaido. I need to regularly shatter my own preconceptions, like how things are already like this. It teaches us that travel is truly an investment in ourselves. I just realized that I don’t think I said anything about traveling being a self-investment in the Aomori Nebuta Festival, which was filmed just before that . That’s bad… Viewers would suddenly come and join us and we’d talk about traveling being a self-investment, but I don’t think I said anything about traveling being a self-investment after talking about learning properly. I messed up, so I guess there are episodes like that. Warabi tempura . I’d like to order some sake here, but tempura doesn’t go well with sake, so I’m thinking of going to a sushi restaurant next. I was thinking of getting yakiniku, but yakiniku restaurants are open until 3am and sushi restaurants open at 10:30 pm, so I’ll go to the sushi restaurant first, then the yakiniku restaurant, and of course finish off with Morioka reimen. That’s the plan, so I’ll drink sake at the next sushi restaurant, and then have Bearlen at the yakiniku restaurant? I forgot what it was, I forgot the name, they have some kind of beer ! : Bearlen I’d like to have a Bearlen beer, so here… I wonder if I’ll go for a highball It’s nothing to do with Morioka, but they don’t have any Morioka highballs, so a chuhai would be fine, but I might get a little tipsy I’m thinking about a lot of things No, from the beginning I ‘ve been denied the choice of places I want to go to so I ‘m always thinking on the fly It’s the same in life, there are many times when plans you had planned to go like this go awry completely But still, you have to think positively Travel is truly an investment in yourself I’m from Morioka too The kanji is different but it’s the same place name so I’m learning so much I’ll have a highball, a regular Kaku Highball… sorry Okay, I’ll enjoy the rest I ‘ve introduced everything already so I’ll take my time and enjoy it Although I say take my time there’s another place to go to so I ‘ll hurry and enjoy it I’ll have a walk then I’d like to go to a sushi restaurant There are so many different places so I imagine you can go bar hopping in Morioka as many times as you want It’s so busy The population is decreasing so much that it doesn’t seem like a place that’s in danger It’s already 9pm so I wonder if we’ll be able to get in Here ! I want to go there! The lights suddenly went out at Sanzushi just now, but I wonder if it’s okay. I should still be able to go… I went to a sushi restaurant with a Google rating of 4.0: Sanzushi Saien Main Branch . What!? …The lights just went out. Is it okay? Something like this, top -grade chirashi natto rolls are good. I have to order the natto rolls. They have such cutting-edge stuff, should I order the today’s special?… There are no photos at all! We’re having yakiniku next, so I’ll just order the specials. They also have a single serving of top-grade nigiri. Should I just go for the top-grade nigiri? For drinks, I’m thinking of ordering Nanbu Bijin from the sake menu . This is Tokubetsu Junmai Mokkiri, Iwate Nanbu Bijin Tokubetsu Nigiri, Natto Roll , Fish Soup . That’s Nanbu Bijin, is it part of the Bijin series ? Toyo Bijin was delicious. This goes well with sushi. I have no idea where it’s from , but it’s really top-grade nigiri, so it seems like it’s full of high-quality stuff. Mmm, it pairs perfectly ! The abalone is from around here too. It looks delicious! It’s so chewy! I’ve never had such a crunchy abalone before. It’s completely different depending on the place , but I have to try the main course. This is it. Natto rolls originated here, so they must be delicious, because they’re the original ! The natto grains are really big, and it’s filling, but it’s cheap because it’s natto rolls. When you hear that it originated and eat it, your mood changes, so it feels even more delicious. This goes well with it too . Now, let’s have some ark shell. I really love shellfish , and the ark shells around here are delicious, so they ‘re the best . Of all the ones I’ve eaten, they’re just right. The balance between crunchy and soft is amazing. I could order about 50 of these. I’m having yakiniku next, but the fish soup is also delicious! The first restaurant we went to was empty today, and this place is pretty empty too. I wonder if everyone is going to the Nebuta Festival? English : Also, it was raining, so it was probably a good thing that it was raining so hard at first that it would be difficult to go out for drinks. Umekyuu yeah , I can really eat as much sushi as I want, I want to order more. I ate quite a bit of tempura at the previous restaurant, and there’s yakiniku next, so it’s not like I absolutely have to go, but this was sujiko maki, I’ll just enjoy the rest. Shohei Otani and Yusei Kikuchi also came here , this place was recommended by a viewer and they really wanted me to go, but it looks like it’s going to close a little early, so I’ll take a short break before going to the yakiniku for the last time, and this is Scotch House, as the name suggests, it’s run by a collector who has a huge collection of whiskey, I’m looking forward to it , to a bar with a Google rating of 4.4, Scotch House, what’s this called? Are they called Gilly Gilly locally ? Glen Garry, born in 1912, I see, this is a malt whiskey, so if it’s not mixed , it has an alcohol content of 59%, which is close to the alcohol content of the Hanazake I had on Yonaguni Island. The moment I drank it, I was like , wow! But… it’s delicious! The aroma is amazing. It’s 59% alcohol, but apparently sipping it slowly doesn’t get you drunk. I tend to gulp it down with highballs, so it’s easy to get drunk . The aroma is amazing and it was delicious. A glass of Scotch was 4,000 yen, but sipping it slowly really… I was able to drink it really slowly, and it actually felt like good value for money. It was the first time I’d had something so delicious . I can see why some people get addicted to it . So, from now… I’m saying this as if it’s the end, but I’d like to finish off by going to Yakiniku and Morioka Reimen. I’m hungry after drinking whiskey, so I ‘m not hungry, but I’m feeling like I can eat, so I ‘d like to go. It’s a restaurant around here, but I’m not sure if it’s really okay. I’m not sure about the score… It said something like it changed my life… No! I’m thinking of going because it was so delicious that it made me want to move there, but I’m worried. I might be being tricked. It ‘s around here. It’s a restaurant around here, but where is it ? Is it really there? Is it this one? It looks like it ‘s open . It’s here! I wondered if a yakiniku restaurant was okay , but I went to one that has a Google rating of 4.2 and is quite popular. Yakiniku Tenko’s salted tongue. I looked at the reviews and decided on one that looked good, and many people said that the salted tongue and grilled liver were delicious. They have a steak called Hakkinton called Platinum Pork. The most common review here is that the cold noodles are incredibly delicious. Some people come just to eat this, and others say they can’t forget the taste , but I couldn’t finish it so I decided on half a bowl of cold noodles. I wonder if I should order from these top 5 bestsellers. I wonder if I’ll order from 1st to 5th and be done with chijimi. Buchimgae is a bit much, so I should just go with 1st to 4th place. I ordered Chamisul. Wow, I put in too much! I’ll have some Chamisul . The whiskey I had earlier was so delicious that it felt on a different level of casual. It felt like I was wearing a T-shirt after being totally dressed up, and it gave me a sense of security. Special salted tongue, special liver, platinum pork steak. Now, raw liver… I can’t help but say it’s not raw liver … The liver wasn’t cooked very well, but eat at your own risk . I felt like it would be okay to eat it almost raw, so it’s your own risk . If you stop the video after this, you’ve been tricked . Muuufuhohoho! This is really good …I can eat it! He said he was full, but this restaurant is delicious . I could tell from this liver that the level of this place is salted tongue. This salted tongue also shows the level . No, the liver here was really good, so I feel like it must be really good. It’s already 11:36pm, and I can see why customers are coming in so quickly, even in the middle of the night. This is Platinum Pork. It ‘s not an unpleasant sweetness, but the flavor is really concentrated and savory. I thought it would be too fatty and tough, but that’s not the case. The fat is easy to eat and it’s great. I had a lot of fun in one night, but maybe no one would go on a bar hopping tour like this. Is this the legendary cold noodles? Now, on to the main event, the main event of the day. Morioka cold noodles . I’ve been looking forward to this . He said it was so incredibly delicious , he’ll never forget it. First of all, the soy sauce is delicious! He might be the Shohei of Morioka reimen. I want to bring some to everyone’s home. What is it? This is so good. He was here. The Shohei of Morioka reimen. I’m going to add a little spiciness now, so if it’s good, then it’s a two-sword style. This is spicy. I added five bowls of spicy stuff . Ah! It’s gotten pretty spicy . It feels good . This is good . Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered the half . I can eat this! This Morioka reimen is so good. It can also be spicy. It ‘s a two-sword style. This is good . I want to take some home. It’s worth coming to Morioka just to eat Morioka reimen. I said that even if I’m on Minamidaito Island or Kitadaito Island, it’s worth going to eat Daito sushi, and it’s the same thing. It’s worth coming to Morioka just to eat Morioka reimen . It looks like it’s going to be a great night. I’ve finished it all! I ‘m only eating a little at a time, so don’t you think I’m leaving it all behind ? : I’m eating well, thank you for the meal . Morioka Bar Hopping Trip Day 2 I checked out of the hotel. It was simple and comfortable, but it’s far from the station and on the opposite side from places to eat, so I took my luggage to the station and put it in a locker before going out. There were lockers, and each locker has some interesting writing on it. This Morioka City Center Circular Bus is called Den Den Mushi, so I’d like to go to the bus center. I’d also like to go and eat some bread that a viewer recommended . It’s 130 yen and there’s one about every 20 minutes . This is in front of Morioka Station. I wonder if this is the way around? Going straight ahead, this is the bus center. I think I saw the Iwate Bank Red Brick Building and other things when I traveled to Iwate before. I don’t remember much anymore, but they also serve curry here. They also have it in Niigata. Speaking of curry bus centers, curry is what they do. Are we here ? Is this it? This is the other side. Not this one . You can use Suica and ICOCA. I’m off. Here we are! Bus center. What is this? It ‘s set up like a cafe, but over here. You can eat soba noodles here too. Wait… Let’s look for bread. It seems to be on this side. Thank you! There’s a den -den-mushi here… is this also a hotel? This is also a bus center. The bus center is huge . Wow, it’s amazing. Is there an insurance company like a shopping mall? What a stylish place that sells fish, is this it? BURGER MARU, how closed off. This bakery is here? They do bone health checks here, it’s amazing , it’s all mixed up, there’s this and that, Fukuda Pan . To the bakery with a Google rating of 4.3, Fukuda Pan Nakanobashi branch. This is Fukuda Pan. They have a variety of menu items, I wonder if they ‘re famous for their original vegetable sandwiches that can be used as a substitute for breakfast. Cash only . What’s this? Is this a koppepan ? The rumored most popular is the anko butter . You can put up to two types of food on one koppepan, like anko and butter. I see, so that’s what it’s like. Peanut butter, please . When you go up to the third floor, there’s also a cafe bar. You can eat bread here too, it ‘s a jazz bar like this, Cafe Bar West, and they really have a variety of menu items, a little pricey, if not? It’s a nice place, and you can drink alcohol too . They seem to be particular about their coffee. While I was waiting for my coffee , I thought I’d take a picture of this bread, but it’s surprisingly big. Maybe one would have been enough . This is crazy. I thought it wouldn’t be that big for 185 yen, but it’s big enough for two people to eat one. Isn’t it great value for money?! It’s huge! But my face is bigger than that. Let’s open it up. This is it . It reminds me a little of the school lunches I had in elementary school. I don’t think it was this big, but there’s bean paste sandwiched inside. This is amazing. This is good . It was the number 1 and number 2 most popular this time, but it’s bean paste butter and peanut butter, so they’re the same type! I regret that. Wouldn’t it have been better to make something that looked a little more like a different variation ? Like, it’s heavy as well Let’s open this one too This is insane This is amazing This is a size I can take home I would like to have some Fukuda bread It’s good It just feels nostalgic I think if I ate 10 of these every day I would probably ruin my health but they’re delicious One was fine Do n’t think about buying two for yourself But you’ll agree It’s 185 yen By the time you all watch the video it may already be around 8,000 yen Prices have risen so much that it’s only 185 yen at the moment When I say 185 yen, even for bread at convenience stores 185 yen is really small isn’t it They’re just stealthily raising prices more and more and it’s now the size you can eat in one bite It’s become like this , isn’t it? If you’re a woman, you probably won’t be able to finish one of these, so I’ll take that much home with me. I’ll have some peanut butter. This brings back memories, too . It tastes like the kind of thing I used to eat at home in high school, before I left home. It makes me feel like I’m reminiscing, and all of this for just 185 yen. And this, it’s like having coffee here. For the price of one cup of coffee, if you wanted to buy this bread, you’d have to buy about four of them. That’s the equivalent of four loaves of bread . I know that sounds like I’m criticizing this coffee , but I didn’t mean it that way. The coffee is a reasonable price . This is too cheap, it’s ridiculous , the coffee is delicious , no, this is really… a really good breakfast, it ‘s amazing , it’s so good I could even have it for lunch, it’s the best . On the other hand, is Fukuda Bread making a profit? English: That worries me a little. I’d like to know how they make a profit at such prices . I can’t imagine it unless they’re in charge of school lunches for all of Iwate or something . They’re just selling bread normally, and that bus center is a pretty good location, isn’t it? I don’t know, but it’s intriguing, so I’ll look into it . In cases like this, I ask ChatGPT or Gemini. Is Fukuda Pan profitable? Regarding questions like this , I couldn’t find any clear profit figures or direct data online that would indicate profitability. However, the following information gives an idea of the company’s solid and stable performance. Stable Management Structure According to the article, Fukuda Pan practices solid management with an equity ratio of over 80%, and has established itself as Morioka’s soul food through locally rooted sales channels, efficient management and delivery routes, and a systemized production management system. Steady sales numbers During peak seasons in particular, they sell 20,000 breads a day. That’s amazing! It’s so popular that even on busy weekdays, they sell about 10,000 loaves of bread a day, and sales are quite steady. Instead of pursuing expansion, Fukuda Pan prioritizes stability. They don’t aggressively expand their stores or franchise, focusing instead on the Morioka area and maintaining a small-scale management style that emphasizes safety and quality. That ‘s amazing, there’s a lot to learn. If things go well, they’ll expand, and that’s fine, but it’s best to make sure you deliver high-quality products to that area . It’s the same with the backpack I wear. It’s fine to expand nationwide or even worldwide all at once, but first, you want to aim for products that will satisfy the people who watch the Nemori Channel. It’s the same, isn’t it ? It’s amazing, you can learn from places like this. Travel is truly an investment in yourself! Thank you! English: ChatGPT, and thank you for the Fukuda bread. I can’t eat it no matter how long I wait and it’ll be lunchtime if I keep going like this, so I went to the Fukuda bread at the bus center this time and it seems to be the best kept secret that’s why there was no queue at all today, but at other stores there are lines before they even open so if you want to make sure you get one, then the bus center is good too , as I’ve already introduced them so there’s a chance that there will be a line at the bus center too , so please don’t complain, if you ‘re like, “I went there and there was a line, ” I’m sorry about that , but at this point it’s a hidden gem so I’ll just let you know, this is the shopping district and they seem to be holding the Morioka Tanabata Festival, there’s something quite retro in front of this side … I went to see that, that’s Iwate Bank, is it Iwate Bank, there ‘s a line over there and it seems to be a popular place for jajamen, a place called Pairon, this store, written as Shiroiryu (White Dragon) , is Pairon Main Store and it seems to be a jajamen store, it’s amazing, there are 1,954 reviews , but there are really so many stores and it seems like there are lots of different ways to enjoy it, it feels just the right amount of urban, or maybe too urban… Ah! This is it, this is it . Oh , wait a moment, we have a lot of reservations today so it will take some time for us to serve you. Morioka specialty, our original tomato soup spaghetti a la montane. This is what I went to eat. This restaurant has a Google rating of 4.3. I’ll have montane a la montane. I wonder what it’s like, let’s start with the soup. Ah, I see! Delicious tomato soup, piping hot . Morioka really has a lot of great noodle restaurants. From Morioka cold noodles to Jajamen and Wankosoba. Whether Wankosoba is delicious is another matter, but there are also good soba restaurants, and the pasta is also great. Shall we have some cheese on top ? It’s pasta, but it feels like I’m eating it like ramen. There’s been tomato ramen lately too. I haven’t had much of it, not even once, but I wonder if it’s similar. I imagine eating pasta like ramen. But it’s piping hot! Let’s look into this a bit. A la Montan is a specialty dish at Montan, a newly opened pasta restaurant in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. It’s a spicy tomato soup spaghetti. It uses ingredients similar to Neapolitan, such as onions, green peppers, and bacon, but is made in a soup-like style. Its appeal lies in its tangy spiciness, chewy, extra-thick noodles , and the delicious flavor that blends well with the soup. It’s a signature dish , with about 70% of customers ordering it, and it’s beloved as one of Morioka’s B-grade gourmet foods. Montan started in Morioka about 40 years ago, and inheriting the taste of the master, A La Montan was born. I’m on the first floor now, but apparently the second floor is also a great spot with a view of Sakurayama, a famous cherry blossom spot, and the front of the prefectural office. I don’t feel the spiciness that much yet, but the reviews say that the acidity is gentle and you can feel the mellowness of the powdered cheese, and that the spiciness that comes later makes you sweat, but I don’t feel that spiciness that much yet, but maybe I’m eating in a different place. I should try a bit more. I’ve come a while . I wonder if this was the right place to eat . But it’s totally fine, it’s just delicious. I’ll eat this. I want one. When I came to Morioka, it even came with coffee. It has a slightly sweet taste with milk, which goes really well with it…it’s not Saint Martin, what is it? Saint Martin is the island of Saint Martin, is n’t it? It was really delicious. Then I’d like to have some sweets at the coffee shop nearby before heading home . The previous shop took cash payments, but many people had made reservations so it might be a good idea to make a reservation. I heard that Liebe also takes cash payments, so I think I’ll go there, but… it’s currently full. I’ll go to Tea House Liebe, a coffee shop with a Google rating of 4.3. You can drink Bearlen here, but I’m driving when I get home so I can’t drink it . What a shame. And for some reason Rem is here. Does anyone know? There is a lot of handwritten writing, but I would like to order this Liebe Parfait. Since it is a parfait here, it will take some time, and they say if you are in a hurry please refrain from ordering. I am a little rushed, but not really rushed. It is lunchtime now so there are a lot of people. The reviews were good , so I think I’ll have the mint tea. It is quite cozy and there are quite a lot of people, but it seems like they are managing to get the best out of them. Looking at the reviews, people say the mint tea was delicious and the Liebe Parfait was delicious, and they also have a good selection of manga like Attack on Titan, with the latest releases also included, which reminds me of my trip to Hita. Attack on Titan . I wonder if the people at this restaurant like Attack on Titan too … It will take some time , so which one would you recommend for now? So I had a chocolate parfait, and the Liebe parfait had to be made after 4pm. Apparently they do all sorts of tweaks to the fruit, so if it’s 4pm it’s time to catch my flight, so I ‘ll have to come again. Well, the menu was good too… I chatted a bit when I ordered, and it was nice, they were really kind and I can see why it’s so popular. Here it is! Mint tea, and it comes in a cup! It’s amazing , mint tea with a strong mint flavor. It’s just past 1pm now, and there are no people around all of a sudden. There are a lot of people who work in the government office around here, so it feels like they all come in at once during their lunch break. If you’re here on vacation, you might be able to relax if you come after 1pm or so. If you come after 4pm you can also get fruit-based ones, so I’ll have a chocolate parfait. Now I’d like to have a chocolate parfait. Even though it’s a chocolate parfait, there’s quite a bit of fruit in it. It really feels like the Showa era . I really feel the Showa era today! The same goes for Fukuda Bread in the morning and A La Montant, which also have a Showa-era feel to them. The name of this shop also has a Showa-era feel to it.The name Liebe is something I’ve never heard of before, especially in this Reiwa era.It ‘s super sweet and goes perfectly with mint tea.I wonder if the fruit is from Morioka? 。 English: It ‘s delicious . Not only is it tasty, but it’s also very comfortable . Even in such a huge, two-story cafe, the atmosphere inside can be completely different depending on how the owner, or rather the staff, thinks . It’s just amazing… If there was a stubborn old man, there would be a strict atmosphere, but I don’t know if it’s the owner here, but he has a really gentle atmosphere, and I think that’s what makes this place so comfortable . It’s pretty hectic and busy, and he ‘s not keeping up with the tidying up, but he never shows any signs of annoyance, and instead is like, sorry to have kept you waiting, sorry to have kept you waiting, that’s great. It sounds like I’m saying something negative, but it sounds really positive, and I think it’s a really important thing. If I lived in Morioka, it’s a place I would probably visit . It’s delicious. When it comes to the Liebe parfait, the fruit is more… it’s like, are the apples shaped like a tower ? Are they made into a tower? Are the kiwis shaped like roses or something like that? I interrupted them while they were cleaning up, and they even stopped cleaning up to bring it over just to show me the photo . I’m so grateful for that. I should learn from them. I want to try it. Next time I’m in Morioka, I’ll get revenge on the Liebe Parfait. That ‘s the kind of customer service that makes you think, I’m so sorry, thank you so much for going out of your way. It looks like a tower. This is amazing. This would look great on Instagram. I ‘m sure lots of people will want to take pictures of this. It says 800 yen here, but it’s a little more expensive now. Is it still 800 yen? And they’re still doing it. If you ate it in a city like this, it would cost over 2,000 yen. It’s a great revolution. A certain Hikakin would do something like this. Definitely come after 4pm! I’ll definitely come after 4pm. They have a pretty cool lineup of manga, so please take me to Morioka Station, where Attack on Titan is located . I’d like to buy some hiyashi noodles to take home as a souvenir . I’m just heading to the airport now, but it ‘s starting to rain really hard . Rain is the perfect way to end a trip. Now I want to look for a bus to the airport, but there’s nothing saying it ‘s going to the airport here. Looking at this, I see that this is where I am now, and the bus to Hanamaki Airport is here. The kimchi natto ramen here seems to be their soul food. I’d like to go there again next time. This is the bus from bus stop 8 to Hanamaki Airport, and this is the next one. It’s 2:25pm now, so there ‘s about one bus per hour. Am I the only one who left my luggage there? Thank you, Iwate Hanamaki Airport. Well, when I arrived at the airport , it cleared up somehow . Hanamaki Airport is here. Let’s start here. There are no lounges at Hanamaki Airport. I was planning to work, but I might have to do it at a restaurant. If I do that, I wish I’d stayed in Morioka for a bit, but I asked the AI at what felt like an airport shop and cafe, and it said there was a card lounge on the first floor, but that’s a lie, I was lied to , there’s no such thing, they sell Fukuda Pan’s koppepan and packaged ones at the airport too , there’s a lot to choose from , you can eat cold noodles too, you can eat Pyonpyonsha and Mannira’s original cold noodles on the second floor, that might be nice to eat, you can buy Fukuda Pan here too, but how much is it, 210 yen , it’s more expensive than buying it at the bus center, it’s really convenient, I can really concentrate, I’ll try the Mori Channel, this is really good, the big screen Iwate Hanamaki Shokudo, my flight was delayed so I thought I’d have some cold noodles, but they were sold out , it was delicious , I want to eat this, today’s cold noodles and hot noodles are sold out, there’s a rainbow, the cold noodles were sold out, so I think I’ll have some Genghis Khan, apparently this is also from Iwate, so it’s beautiful English: The taste looks good and the prices are reasonable too. Postscript to my trip to Morioka This concludes my trip to Morioka, Iwate. I went through security and then I was thinking about talking about this, but it was unusually quiet inside the airport so I had to whisper really quietly. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a quiet airport . It was like this elsewhere too. I feel like Niigata Airport was also really quiet, but are airports in Tohoku really quiet? My trip to Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. I wonder how it looked to you all. I really arrived yesterday evening and it was only until lunchtime today , so it was pretty much a whirlwind, I couldn’t stay there all day, but I think I went to about seven restaurants and ate quite a lot. I think I gained about 3kg just yesterday and today because I ate so much, but everything I ate was delicious. There were so many restaurants that everything was delicious, from good food to B-grade gourmet food, so I’ll come back many times and take pictures of all kinds of different types of Morioka bar crawls . It was a place that was surprisingly enjoyable . I’m from Kansai, so I didn’t know much about it, but I think it took less than an hour by Shinkansen from Aomori. It took less than an hour and cost 5,000 to 6,000 yen. I also thought it would be fun to fly to Aomori and then go to Morioka or continue on to Sendai . For example, you could go from Akita to Aomori , and then from Aomori to Morioka and then Sendai. It really felt like a food-hopping Shinkansen trip . There are endless ways to enjoy it. I thought Tohoku was difficult to get to, but it’s actually quite close. I think there were a lot of really kind people in Morioka . I’m from Morioka too, so the writing is different, but yeah, I’d like to go on another Morioka bar-hopping trip. Now I’m on my way home. It was amazing , so I recommend you all to go and check it out. A limited release of the behind-the-scenes story of this video! Check the description for more details! The backpacks that everyone wears when traveling . Do you use it? I’m wearing this right now, so take a look. At first glance, it doesn’t look like it has much in it, but it actually has a ton of stuff in it. My wallet’s in here, and I also need business cards, passport, and earphones. If I suddenly feel like playing Switch, I have my Nintendo Switch. If I want to play against someone, I have another one in there. Even with all that stuff inside, it’s thin. And keys! You can put car keys, your wallet, and so on . You’re probably wondering how many wallets you can fit in there! There are also two pockets on the outside, so you can put things like disinfectant wipes, and you can even fit a water bottle in the back ! You might think that this alone can hold a lot, but I can even fit my laptop in the back! With all this stuff, even if you’re traveling and you’re worried about going out to eat, wanting to turn on your Switch, or maybe even work, or getting thirsty, you can fit everything in there! You’re worried about being pickpocketed if you wear a backpack, so this is a wearable backpack. It’s an absolute must-have for travelers! Travel is an investment in yourself!
