Tokugawa Ieyasu Who built Toshogu? Tokugawa… …Something Tokugawa Iemitsu! The third shogun Ieyasu’s grandson He deeply admired his grandfather Out of respect for Ieyasu… He probably made it so extravagant Top Edo craftsmanship gathered here Packed with national treasures and culture The more you learn, the cooler it gets “The Elephant of Imagination” Drawn without seeing a real one People back then didn’t see elephants? “The Elephant of Imagination” One of the three great carvings of Toshogu The famous “Three Monkeys” carving Everything gathered in one spot，nice What building is this? Ieyasu’s tomb Beyond the 207 stone steps lies the tomb of Ieyasu he’s resting here? Tokugawa Ieyasu “Life is a long journey under a heavy load” Don’t rush — Tokugawa Ieyasu Starving Those steps were pretty tiring So hungry Let’s grab lunch Then let’s head to Lake Chuzenji Nikko Coffee Restaurant They have curry…omurice etc Lunch Set B Black curry and omurice I can add my favorite drink to the lunch set I love that little bit of freedom demi-glace sauce You love omurice, right? Waterfalls + fall colors = perfect 500m to Yudaki Falls Almost there totally easy, right? No way… Lots of fallen trees Mt. Nantai and Mt. Akagi fought… Maybe they knocked them down Trail ends here The waterfall—wow! How tall is it? Amazing! Yudaki Falls grand yet graced with feminine elegance Tastes better when hungry Not nearly enough Let’s get mushroom soup too Delicious! Rich mushroom broth After hiking… Eating something like this delicious… perfect ending really delicious! We’ll climb from here Waterfall starts here Look—Senjogahara! We made it to Lake Yunoko Finally arrived So beautiful…! The waters of Lake Yunoko fall into Yudaki Falls, flow through Senjogahara, and pour into Lake Chuzenji This is the story of water in Oku-Nikko Cormorants! 1泊2日で紅葉の日光に行ってきました🌟まずは日光東照宮に参拝、昼食後はバスで《奥日光エリア》へ。華厳滝、中禅寺湖畔を散策して温泉ホテル《花庵》でゆっくり体を休めて翌日は《戦場ヶ原トレッキング》！日光の豊かな自然を満喫する旅行となりました（撮影日:10月中旬）。
