Finally visiting the Chiikawa Restaurant! ✨ Since the menu is huge, this video combines two visits in October. But while editing, the official site suddenly announced that a new “Subjugation Fair” menu will start on 11/27. So this video features the previous “HOT Fair” plus the regular “Grand Menu” — a total of 10 dishes. I’ll come back to film the new menu later too ✨ The restaurant is reservation-only. First lottery, then first-come-first-served. Just like the Chiikawa Bakery, you must buy e-tickets via the LAWSON app. These are the two types — I booked the BOX sofa seat both times. (Queueing by the stairs while waiting to be seated) Everyone checks the menu while deciding what to order. The atmosphere is super cute ✨ The BOX sofa seats are the pink area — extremely cute. Paying ¥6000 upfront sounds pricey, but we always end up spending more anyway💧 I got seated right in front of the Second Chef! So lucky! There’s animation projected on the side wall too. The call button is shaped like Kurimanju. Su–per–cute 💕 You’ll see a sheet on the table facing down. Flipping it over really feels like opening a mystery box ✨ There are 3 designs. And the illustrations have 15 differences hidden! The first seasonal dish is the “Usage Sunburn Burger” 🍔🐰! The bun is stamped with Usagi’s face, and the whole plate is packed. Burger, mashed potatoes, cold corn soup, mini salad— and a special beef stew puff bun! It’s shaped like a hot stone! Overall the taste is pretty standard. Juicy patty, fluffy bun, and solid sides — a safe-choice dish. Next is the hot-spring-style yogurt drink — the gradient colors are crazy cute! I ordered Usagi version. Usagi’s face is made from monaka skin — crisp when touched. The drink is sweet and tangy — very sweet 🩵💛🩷 This one is the “Momonga & Furuhonya friendship(?) drink.” Violet apple jelly at the bottom, strawberry soda on top. Topped with monaka and heart chocolate. If you like Momonga, this will make you happy ✨ Now onto the regular grand menu. When this arrived, I couldn’t help laughing. The “Oishi–sa!” Shisa standee is TOO cute! My heart melted 💗 Portion size is huge. Double pork backfat, extra veggies, spicy crunch topping. The highlight — “Koree-guus.” A famous Okinawan spicy seasoning. It’s chili peppers soaked in Awamori liquor. Just a little makes it fragrant, spicy, and addictive. And there’s a big Okinawan-style pork rib. Perfect for anyone who wants a hearty, satisfying meal. Cuteness and portion size both maxed out 🍜 This one looks very wholesome, but it’s actually a bit dark-humored lol Hachiware is lying on the hamburger steak, covered by a fried egg. That “It’s okay… it’s okay…” expression is just too funny. You can choose rice or bread as your main. Overall, it tastes good. Hachiware itself is made of mochi; I just wanted to pull it out for a close-up. ⚠️ But… the shot turned out way too brutal ⚠️ I couldn’t stop laughing. Next is this kids’ lunch set that was even cuter than I expected. Even though it’s called a kids’ meal, adults can order it too. There’s Chiikawa chicken rice, hamburger steak, and jelly, plus fried shrimp, Napolitan pasta, a star-shaped croquette, and orange juice. And it even comes with a little toy! Such a generous set. This Kurimanju sangria is one of my favorites—it’s insanely cute! You can’t help wanting to toast with Kurimanju 🍷 It tastes like non-alcoholic sangria with a wine-like aroma. Sweet and tangy, and you can eat all the fruit inside. Every drink comes with a random clear coaster out of 30 designs. But the material is very thin, so it’s not great for collecting—kind of a shame. The “Second Chef’s Whimsy Dessert Plate” is peak Usagi energy! The contents are random. Before it arrives, you get a special dessert menu—it feels so fancy and exciting. The “Super Yummy Pudding” is fixed, and the other two are picked from four desserts. It totally captures Usagi’s whimsical personality. That day I got the “hotcake with berry sauce,” and the “really hard nutty caramel custard tart.” The powdered-sugar lettering on the plate is random too—mine said “ヤハ”. Every little detail makes you want to squeal from the cuteness. But honestly, the taste was just okay 😂 This Momonga choco banana parfait is huge. Momonga’s face is a big daifuku wrapped around vanilla ice cream—surprisingly delicious. The rest is lots of chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and cornflakes. A little guilty-pleasure, a little cheap-feeling 😂 This last dessert was one of my favorites. They stick rosemary into the matcha tiramisu so it looks like real grass. It even comes with tweezers so you can literally “pull weeds”! 🤣 The whole experience is so cute and therapeutic. ? It also tastes really good, with strawberry sauce hidden at the bottom. Once you finish everything, a QR code appears on the plate. Scan it and you can download a Chiikawa wallpaper ✨ Overall, the Chiikawa Restaurant is just unbearably cute. But if we’re talking flavor, it’s definitely “cute > delicious.” I’ll be back to film the new menu next time.
