[ 福島・栃木 2泊3日の温泉三昧の旅 ] #5 那須湯本温泉 清水屋で日帰り入浴 / チーズガーデン那須本店 / ビートルズだらけの「ペニーレイン那須店」でランチ
I checked out of Shiobara Onsen Shio no Yu Kashiwaya Ryokan in Tochigi, Fukushima. The private open-air bath at Kashiwaya Ryokan, Raitei no Yu, with the beautiful valley right in front of me, was also amazing. Today is the last day, but I’m going to one more bath for a day trip. This is the 7th bath on this 3-day, 2-night trip ♪ Before the bath… I checked the price of that thing at the roadside station! Roadside Station Nasu Kogen Yuai no Mori Nasu Royal Kogen Marche Shopping! At the time, 5kg of newly harvested rice for 3,800 yen (tax included) was unheard of in Osaka city! They even sold fresh vegetables, meat, dairy products, and souvenirs! A local drink beloved by Tochigi residents : a lemon-colored milk drink made with raw milk from Tochigi Prefecture, added with sugar and lemon flavoring. Today’s destination: a hidden hot spring in the heart of Mt. Chausu. The Daimaru Onsen Ryokan had an open-air bath like this (T_T). Pulling myself together, I headed to the tourist information center. Apparently , there’s no place that beats Unkaikaku when it comes to deep hot springs, which this old man loves. Ryokan Shimizuya | Nasu Onsen / Tochigi Nigoriyu Association Inn. This inn uses the original hot spring, Shika no Yu, directly from the source. Daytime bathing is 800 yen. Let’s take a bath. First, the men’s bath, then the women’s. The pH is 2.5. The same hot spring water as Shika no Yu is used, undiluted. Ah, it feels so good! There’s also a washing area. They also have shampoo and body soap. I’m going to eat some freshly baked cheesecake. 旅の最終日も温泉へ♪那須湯本の清水屋さんへお邪魔しました。鹿の湯と同じ源泉なのですが、鹿の湯ほど混み合うこともなく、貸し切りでのんびりお湯に浸かりました。その後は、チーズガーデン那須本店でお土産を買い、最後はペニーレイン那須店でランチをいただきました。
