Japan’s wild monkeys in Fukushima 🙈
Fukushima’s mountain regions are home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, wild boar, bears and dozens of species of wild birds. Monkeys in this part of the Inawashiro / Bandai region often come down from the mountains to try and steal food from farms, presenting challenges for local residents. This group was a family of about 20-25 in total!
Please remember not to feed or approach animals in the wild! All this footage was taken with a zoom lens from afar.
