Hello everyone. We’re back in Japan and we took the “Bullet-Train” to Osaka today. Recently we were in Paris, and whenever I’m there, I always do some vintage shopping. Actually, I’m wearing a vintage Saint Laurent blazer today. The beauty of vintage items is that they often feature high-quality materials and careful tailoring, making them long-lasting. Today, I’d like to tour some vintage stores in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. The vintage stores I’d like to introduce today are from Aura Japon, four vintage shops that offer a glimpse into cities around the world: Milan, Paris, New York, and London. There are four stores in Shinsaibashi, one for each of these cities. I’d like to visit all four stores today. I thought the four stores are in different locations, but I’m currently at the Milan store, and next door is Paris. New York and London are both just a one-minute walk from here. There are six stores in Osaka in total, and one in Tokyo, so be sure to check them out! Let’s start with Paris! I love vintage jackets and coats. I haven’t bought one yet this year, so if I come across something good, I’d like to buy one. Let’s go to Paris! I just arrived at the Paris store. I was there recently, and the atmosphere inside this store is so Parisian. I feel like I’m in Paris now. Let’s take a look around the store. First of all, there are a lot of GIVENCHY and courrèges accessories. They’re so lovely♡ In winter, I especially want to wear gold-colored accessories. This is the scarf section. There are so many beautiful scarves. Saint Laurent and Cartier. There are also lots of scarf rings. Vintage scarves are wonderful, with patterns that aren’t currently available in official stores. Hermès♡ I’d like to try pairing a Hermès scarf. I’m wearing it over a blazer, and it’s a lovely scarf. It would also look great with a jacket. In winter, clothes tend to be dark, so a scarf helps to brighten up the face. This scarf is lovely. Hermès jewelry and Dior and Saint Laurent watches. I adore vintage watches. I want to be a grandma who looks good in a red long shirt like this.♡ There are some lovely ladies in Paris who wear red shirts like this. It also kind of looks like a trench coat, doesn’t it? This is a lightweight long shirt from Saint Laurent. The color is so lovely. I’ll try it on later. This is a Dior knit. I’m currently looking for a red knit. I usually like to coordinate monotone, but when my outfit is dark, I want to add a touch of red. The price is… ¥23,800 ($153)?! Really? Yes. Maybe it’s because I recently returned from Paris, but AURA’s pricing is so reasonable. ¥23,800 ($153)?! I feel like I can’t go home empty-handed today. I found a Saint Laurent bag. Is this tortoiseshell? so cute♡ It’s light, has a cute shape, and the color is lovely. It’s ¥43,800 ($280). I really love this leather jacket! It probably looks good on you. My only concern is whether it’s my size. My viewers know my style preferences, so I’ll try on this jacket later. It’ll be a shame if it doesn’t fit. It’s a BALMAIN leather jacket. It’s ¥42,800 ($275). Shocking! I also have a Cartier Trinity ring, and I was shocked when I saw this price. A real bargain! If it fits, it’s a great deal. Gold prices are soaring right now, aren’t they? At this price! I found a vintage Celine bag. It’s a lovely burgundy color. It’s probably calfskin leather, right? Yes, it’s in good condition. Do you know the age? This one is from the 1980s to 1990s. That is a good time period. Does it suit me? Yes. The shine of the hardware on vintage Chanel bags is completely different from modern bags. This bag can also be carried as a clutch, which is really nice. From here, I’d like to try on some coats and jackets that interest me. First up is a Saint Laurent trench jacket. It’s a light jacket. First, it’s so beautiful. I saw someone wearing something like this in Paris, and it looked so lovely, I asked her where it was from. So I’ve been looking for a long-sleeved jacket like this. And today I found it! It’s cool! So cool♡ It’s my size! This store is so dangerous. Lol They have so many sizes I can wear! I want them all, so I’m not sure I’ll leave empty-handed today. The shapes are beautiful. I’m more excited about this store than Paris because of the prices. It’s fun♡ Chloe jackets are so lovely, showcasing the vintage colors and cuts. This Chloe jacket also has a beautiful silhouette. This coat is also great. I’m afraid I’ll want them all. Lol So cute♡ Does David like it? I love this coat’s classic design. I really like it. Is it a little big? It’s a size 40, so I think I can wear a thick sweater underneath. I didn’t see any coats like this in Paris either. I love it♡ We just visited Paris, and next we’ll head to Milan, it’s right next door! We are now in the MILANO store. The smell here is different and refreshing. Since this store is Milan, they carry a lot of Gucci products, but they also carry a wide variety of other Italian brands, so let’s take a look around. This is a Gucci monogram Boston bag. I think these types of monogram bags look great in vintage styles, with a subtle texture and feel. This is a really lovely Prada bag with a unique design. It’s perfect for this season. Is it tweed? Yes, it’s tweed. Lovely ♡ The color is lovely too. The Milano store carries more men’s items than the Paris store. So do you see many male customers? Yes. If you see anything you like, David, please try it. I found a Dolce & Gabbana necklace. It looks good on you. I’m looking for a chain necklace that would look good on David. Looks a little punk rock. These are Ferragamo Vara flats. I’ve never seen so many Ferragamo flats in a vintage store. This is the biggest collection I’ve ever seen. They offer a wide variety of sizes and colors. Ferragamo fans will like it here. This is a Ferragamo Vara bag. It’s lightweight and looks easy to use. I’m trying on a Max Mara Weekend leather jacket. It’s very light and easy to wear. Leather jackets can sometimes be heavy and tiring to wear, but this jacket is very light and easy to move in. The shape is beautiful. Italy store is great too. Yes♡ It’s PRADA. I like this length. The mid-length is easy to wear. I’m trying on a PRADA mid-length coat. The collar design is distinctive. The sleeves are cute, too. You’re right! The sleeve design is unique and lovely. My third item is a Max Mara long coat. I said earlier that mid-length is good, but a long coat is also lovely. I’m surprised again now that I see the price. Today at Aura Vintage, I’m constantly being surprised by the affordable prices. I’m either shocked or just saying how cute it is. If I had one, I could wear it forever. Next, I’m trying on a Gucci dark denim jacket. David just asked me if the jacket was brand new, because it’s in such good condition. The cut is beautiful, even the silhouette. It’s only a one-minute walk from the Milano store. Now we’re at the London store. Let’s go! We’re in London. The store design here is fantastic, incorporating elements of record and music culture and giving it a London feel. Let’s take a look at what items they have. This London store carries items from Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, and Wedgwood. The apparel selection features a large selection of Burberry items. It’s a wonderful store that makes you feel like you’re in London. David also enjoys looking at the books and records. What do you think of this store? It’s a fun space filled with the essence of London and the British art and music scene. I agree. I’m excited to check out some items! ♡ This cute Vivienne Westwood cardigan and turtleneck are a great combination. Speaking of vintage Burberry, I’m sure there are people looking for a trench coat. Are trench coats available year-round? Yes, they are. I’ll try on some items later. Now that I’ve been shown around the store, I’ll try on a few items that caught my eye. The first item is a Burberry checked blazer. I absolutely love it.♡ I was a bit biased and thought it might be heavy, but it’s light and easy to wear. I can tell it’s high quality. It’s very nice. I just looked at the price, and I’m amazed again at how affordable it is, almost to the point where I wonder if they even make a profit. You have found such wonderful items.♡ It’s sophisticated. I want this too. Next, I’m wearing a Burberry trench coat. It has a liner, so it’s warm, even in winter. You can remove the liner and enjoy it year-round. With proper care, a Burberry trench coat can last a lifetime. I think it will last a lifetime. Huh? Is this the correct price? I keep saying that. LOL I also have a vintage Burberry trench coat, but I didn’t buy it at this affordable price. I’m impressed with the price. I loved the Max Mara we saw earlier, but this Burberry is great too. Such a lovely color and so soft. Is it 100% wool? Yes. It looks comfortable. It’s so soft and warm that I don’t even feel like I’m wearing it. Next up is a mid-length Burberry coat. I love the color too. The size is just right. Mid-length is easy to wear Easy to coordinate. Easy to move around in. And lastly, a Burberry duffle coat. It’s a different look than the coats I’ve worn before. I love the color. What color is it? Golden yellow? Does anyone else say golden yellow these days? A cool way to describe it would be something like dark yellow? Or mustard. It’s mustard! I’m sure there are people who know it’s golden yellow, right? It even has a hood. I love it.♡ My pants are a similar color, so it looks more like golden yellow. It’s mustard! Lol. The look changes when I wear it open. We just visited the London store. Now, for our last stop today, let’s head to the neighboring New York store. We’ve just arrived at the New York store. Unlike the previous three stores, this store exclusively sells Tiffany jewelry. They carry both men’s and women’s items, and some discontinued pieces are sure to be irresistible for Tiffany fans. I’m going to try out a few items that I’m interested in. I’m currently trying on the Bean necklace from Elsa Peretti’s Bean Collection, my favorite Tiffany designer. I love it. It’s beautiful.♡ I love it so much. I want it. and I just saw the price. So affordable.♡♡♡ I really love it. Is this Atlas? It’s an Atlas ring. It looks good on you. It’s stylish. Yes, it is. Last but not least, this is an 18k gold ring from the T-Smile series. It was really popular for a while, and it’s so beautiful. It’s completely 18k gold. I’ll give you the item first. Thank you. Today, I visited four Aura Japon stores in Shinsaibashi. I hope you enjoyed it. While shopping in this wonderfully curated space, I not only encountered many wonderful items, but also discovered some brands I had never heard of before, which was a lot of fun. In addition to the four Shinsaibashi stores, there’s also the flagship store in Umeda, which brings together world-class products, and the Aura Japon Tokyo store, so please check them out. I’d like to introduce some of my purchases from the AURA Japon vintage store. There were so many items that I liked.
I couldn’t decide until the very end. I ended up buying two. The first is a DIOR coat I found at AURA Paris. The silhouette is so unique, I fell in love at first sight. I think one of the charms of vintage shopping is the opportunity to discover pieces you don’t see often. The second is a bean necklace, one of Elsa Peretti’s iconic designs by Tiffany, which I found at AURA New York. This simple, smooth shape has timeless beauty, and I had been wanting it for a while, so when I came across it, I decided to buy it right away. After shopping at AURA Japon, I was reminded once again how great vintage shopping is, so I would especially recommend it to anyone looking for unique, one-of-a-kind items. I would also recommend these stores to anyone who is interested in vintage shopping but has been hesitant to take the first step until now.
