⁴ᴷ Tokushima: Tokushima Station (徳島県: 徳島駅) – Japan Walking Tour (January, 2026)
I’ve decided to take an off-season trip back to my hometown in Kobe, using it as a starting point for a journey all the way around Shikoku. After traveling through Takamatsu in Kagawa, crossing Kochi, visiting the towns of the Ashizuri Peninsula, and stopping in Matsuyama and Naruto, I’ve finally reached the final destination of my trip: Tokushima City. The area around Tokushima Station marks the last filming location for this journey.
I took a walk after sunset through the entertainment district, located about ten minutes from the station. During my last visit on a Monday, the area was quiet, so I was thrilled to finally experience it on a Saturday. The streets around the restaurants were bustling with people, and the narrow alleys provided a wonderful, atmospheric charm perfect for a nightlife district. In contrast, the shopping arcades remained hushed and still, creating a striking balance between the excitement and the silence of the city.
