Only $84 in Central Shinjuku!? 🏨 FREE Breakfast Hotel Review | Keio Presso Inn Shinjuku

Found a hidden gem hotel in Shinjuku! 🏨 I discovered a quiet, peaceful spot right in the heart of the city. For this trip, I stayed at “Keio Presso Inn Shinjuku,” located in an unbeatable spot right next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

Despite being just a 10-minute walk from the Shinjuku Station South Exit, the price was incredibly affordable (around $84/night). What’s more, it includes a “FREE Breakfast” for all guests—an amazing value that’s hard to find in expensive Shinjuku!

The guest rooms are compact yet very clean. A rare and welcome feature for a central Tokyo hotel is that you can actually open the windows to let in fresh air. At night, I watched the massive projection mapping show—a Guinness World Record holder—right in front of the hotel at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. For dinner, I visited a hidden spot inside the government building called “Togikai Yokocho” (Uohide) and enjoyed fantastic seafood and Japanese-style roast beef.

With the convenience of central Shinjuku and the quiet nights of a business district, this hotel is the perfect base for both sightseeing and business. Highly recommended! ✨

  2. That is a good hotel to stay. For someone like to be quiet, it feels really good in a quiet places around at night, especially unlike other countries, I would be more aware surroundings , if place are quiet, because I know crime rate in Japan is much lower than other countries.
I quite like the room too. I agree with you the picture should be Tokyo Tower and Seinso-ji, and the picture scale would be better, if they fit the scale of that size of the wall, the painting looks 'isolated".
Shower room is pretty functional, that would be better if they can place the 3 bottles on the shower side, not nearby the basin, it is quite inconvenient to press body wash, shampoo or hair conditioner outside the bath tub.
1st time acknowledge 東京都議会 shows Projection Mapping is a surprise! Normally government building would not be a visit site, unless the building is historical.
    Really like this hotel~~

  3. Hi and thanks for another stunning video!! And wow, watch the blooming trees is quite a nice view on the way to an hotel that's quite well equipped with a convenience store right at its door…and the detail with the seal surprised me, because I think I saw it very few times in the videos!! The room is quite compact, but the renovation gives a great lighs and very relaxing colors to help someone to sleep well when the time to do it comes! And wow again, the light projections in Tocho towers was really pretty and hipnotic…a thing I could look day after day!! And now to my usual and favourite here, the food… and I've to say that sashimi looked really fresh and delicious, with well chosen quality fish and that Rosbif bowl looked absolutely great – despite I'm not a big fan of raw egg – and a great breakfast with lots of things to choose and enjoy after a nice night of sleep to start the day full of energy!! Love from Spain!! 💙🇪🇦

  4. While watching the light show, I wondered if there was a place to sit and enjoy it. Well, my question was answered when you walked out of the restaurant. Is there a time limit in the area? LOL!! The hotel was definitely up my alley for peace and quiet, with no businesses flashing constant neon signs! Yes, the room was simple, but economical for a single traveller. When it comes to amenities, you are spoiled rotten in Japan!! Here in North America, you are expected to have your own toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and brush. Maybe only the top-end hotels may provide them, but you're paying big bucks for the room.

  5. I really enjoyed staying in Shinjuku. It's a good mix of city vibes, night life, shopping, and quiet parks. Most importantly, it's fairly flat and accessible for solo wheelchair users. I stayed at the Kadoya Hotel just west of Shinjuku Station south exit. It also has a Lawson next door which was super convenient!

When I return, I think I will stay at the Presso Inn! Their universal room looks better than Kadoya.
