階段愛好家〈建築とアートを巡る®︎〉 が巡る石川建築

久方ぶりに訪れた金沢で、まず足を運んだのは2022年に開館した石川県立図書館。
大らかな弧を描く空間は、壮大なスケールを湛えながらも、利用者に寄り添う親密さを併せ持つ。幾層にも連なる書架と閲覧席が立体的に広がる図書館とは思えない大空間だった。

On my first visit to Kanazawa in quite some time, the place I headed to first was the Ishikawa Prefectural Library, which opened in 2022.
The space, defined by its gentle sweeping curves, holds a grand scale while maintaining a sense of intimacy that stays close to its users. Layers of bookshelves and reading areas unfold three-dimensionally, giving rise to a vivid landscape of knowledge.
