I stayed at Suimeikan, one of Japan’s most prestigious hot spring ryokans, located in Gero Onsen, Gifu Prefecture!

From the moment you step inside, you’ll be amazed by its luxurious interiors and traditional Japanese elegance. The 100% natural free-flowing hot spring baths were simply incredible.

As one of Japan’s Three Famous Hot Springs, Gero Onsen truly lived up to its reputation. The silky-smooth, skin-beautifying waters were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

Often mentioned alongside legendary ryokans such as Kagaya in Wakura Onsen and Kahou (Shiratama no Yu Kahou) in Niigata, Suimeikan is a destination every hot spring lover should experience at least once.
