A miraculous flower revived after 2,000 years!
The Ancient Lotus (Ohga Lotus) in Yasaka Park, Bando City, Ibaraki, Japan.

In 1951, 2,000-year-old lotus seeds were excavated from the Ochiai Ruins in Chiba.
Thanks to the passion of botanist Dr. Ichiro Ohga, a single seed successfully germinated and bloomed into a magnificent pink flower.
