[High-Quality] Uwanoabe Kofun (ウワナベ古墳 前方後円墳 奈良 ) in Nara | Giant Keyhole Tomb Linked to Empress Hata

    Uwanoabe Kofun (宇和奈邊古墳, 宇和奈辺古墳) is a keyhole-shaped burial mound located in Hokkeji Town, Nara City, Nara Prefecture. It is one of the kofun that make up the Saki Tatenami Kofun Cluster (Uwanoabe Kofun Cluster), situated at the easternmost end of the group and recognized as the largest among them.

    Believed to have been constructed around the mid-5th century, it is designated as the reference burial site for Princess Hata, daughter of Emperor Ōjin and Empress of Emperor Nintoku.
