🇯🇵 Shirayama Hime Jinja Shrine, Hakusan City, Ishikawa 白山比咩神社 石川県白山市 Jan 2024 [4K]
Located in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Shirayama Hime Shrine (also known as Shira-Hime Shrine) is a central site of Hakusan worship and one of the most iconic shrines in the Hokuriku region. Established over 2,100 years ago, the shrine enshrines Shirayama Hime Okami (Kukuri-hime-no-Mikoto) as its main deity, with Mount Hakusan, one of Japan’s three sacred mountains, serving as its spiritual focus. The shrine is widely revered for blessings related to matchmaking, household safety, and agricultural and fishing prosperity.
In early January, the shrine is bustling with visitors making their New Year prayers, while the snow-covered landscape enhances the sacred and serene atmosphere.
石川県白山市にある白山比咩神社（しらやまひめじんじゃ）は、白山信仰の中心的な存在であり、北陸地方を代表する神社の一つです。創建は2100年以上前とされ、日本三名山の一つ「白山」を御神体とし、主祭神として白山比咩大神（菊理媛命）を祀っています。縁結びや家内安全、農業・漁業の豊穣を祈る場所として古くから多くの参拝者に親しまれています。
1月初旬には、新年の参拝者で賑わい、雪景色が神聖な雰囲気を一層引き立てます。
