  1. Awesome guide! I had no idea they had model kits for shmups. I mean, of course they would, but I never thought about it. Those look really cool!

  2. Volks sells an excellent nipper that I'll talk about soon.

The Volks showroom is my favourite place because it's got such special kits you can't find elsewhere.

Even if I miss Yellow Sub, I'll try to swing by Volks.

The Labi, Yodobashi and Bic departments are where to go if you want new releases at good prices they've got such good economy of scale and massive stock, not just for Bandai, but Aoshima and Tamiya too.

  3. That shizuoka store is the best place in japan, I can vouch for you. It's massive and it has everything you need. It's disneyland for model builders. I could live in shizuoka just because of that store.

  4. Out of these five, which one do you think has the most complete selection of Gaia Paint?
I'm trying to find their Prism Blue Black in my country, but it's really difficult.
I might go to Japan this year, so I'm gonna try and find them there.

    I'm guessing the Hobby Paradise?

  5. I actually went to japan for a whole month a week ago, and I used your videos to find the good gunpla/plamo stores in Tokyo! I would actually recommend the amiami in the radio kaikan building in Akiba, as I got many tools and even some kits for discounted prices compared to all of the other shops. Also, your previous recommendation of Mandarakes was really good – I found them to be the cheapest prices with a good selection that constantly changed with some really rare models.

  6. Hey Pixxe, I was in Tokyo just 2 weeks ago and the spots you suggested are spot on. Yellow Submarine let me double dip into my card games kick as well lol. Will you be taking a look at Gundam Assemble? Its Bandai's latest attempt at a Gundam related board game.

  7. Thank you for sharing this! I need to make the pilgrimage one day…

Hopefully they still have that MG Zeta white/pink variant in stock in 2065 😅

What is your favorite non-Gundam model kit line?

  8. Having a huge, frequently updating inventory of rare and unusual kits is the coolest thing! Not allowing video in the store is, well, maybe not the coolest thing, haha!

  9. meanwhile I am searching for the kit of the "spin-off" of The Five Star Stories that is Gothicmade which is probably even more rare enough.
