「日本の渚１００選」にも選ばれた４ｋｍにおよぶ広い砂浜が特徴です。
宮崎県の北部で宮崎空港から車で約2時間、チキン南蛮発祥の地と呼ばれている延岡市からは車で約30分程の場所です。 #サーファー 達に” #OKURA ”の愛称で親しまれているお倉ヶ浜、2017年にはアジア初となるISA主催の世界ジュニアサーフィン選手権も開催された全国屈指の #サーフスポット です。温水シャワーやトイレ等も完備されています。1年を通してサーフィンが楽しめるほか、夏季には海水浴場も開設されます。
Oguragahama Beach (Hiraiwa, Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture)
Oguragahama Beach is a 4-km wide sandy beach that has been selected as one of the “100 best beaches in Japan.
It is located in the northern part of Miyazaki Prefecture, about 2 hours by car from Miyazaki Airport and about 30 minutes by car from Nobeoka City, which is called the birthplace of Chicken Nanban. Okuragahama Beach, nicknamed “OKURA” by surfers, is one of the best surf spots in Japan, where the ISA-sponsored World Junior Surfing Championships were held in 2017, the first time this event was held in Asia. Surfers can enjoy surfing throughout the year, and a beach is open during the summer season.
