⁴ᴷ Miyazaki: Miyazaki Station (宮崎県: 宮崎駅) – Japan Walking Tour (February, 2025)
It’s getting cold, and with the goal of completing filming in every prefecture, I’m heading to Kyushu—the only region left. I took a ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Koji Port in Kitakyushu, then toured Kyushu in a clockwise direction.
From Oita Prefecture, I headed south to Miyazaki Prefecture. The area in front of Miyazaki Station is well-maintained and beautiful. A short distance away from the station, there’s a nightlife and entertainment district. With well-kept sidewalks, groups of people walking toward the station are easy to spot. The eye-catching illuminations along the way lead you to a covered arcade shopping street, and beyond that, despite it being Sunday, plenty of people are out bar-hopping, making the area quite lively.
