On an intensely cold day, we set out on a journey to see a frozen waterfall in Yamagata.
Beyond the mountain roads, we find a breathtaking cascade completely encased in thick ice.
Smooth and rugged surfaces intertwine, creating a natural sculpture seen only in winter.
Standing silently, it embodies the raw beauty of the season.
