Introduced in 2017, the Tokyo Metro 13000 Series replaced the previous 03 Series on the Hibiya Line. They were built by Kinki Sharyo and were fitted with Mitsubishi Si-IGBT (Batch 1) or SiC-MOSFET VVVF (Batch 2) traction control system.

Those speakers are overkill for playing announcements, Tokyo metro really did a “luxury spec” train for the 13000 series.
