🌸 Tokyo Cherry Blossom Updates 3/30: Asakusa Sumida Park [4K/HDR/Binaural]
I often get asked, “I’m visiting Tokyo in early April. Will I still be able to see cherry blossoms?” If you’re wondering the same, check out this video! I filmed it on March 30, and while the cherry blossoms aren’t in full bloom yet, there are still plenty of buds waiting to open. In many parts of Tokyo, the blossoms are already near peak bloom, but here, you should still be able to enjoy them for a while. This video takes you on a walk through Sumida Park. Starting from Kaminari-mon Gate in Asakusa, we are walking through the Asakusa side of Sumida Park, crossing the bridge, and continue exploring the park on the other side. If you’d like to follow the same route, click “Walking Route” below to check the location on Google Maps before you go!

Have you turned pink yet? You must love crowds to be out there for the video shots. Stay cool and enjoy the first spring days like the rest.
Hi, I saw from Instagram that there is a stall near sakurabashi bridge where geishas are selling dango and green tea. 11.30am to 3.30pm from now until 6 April. Did you get to see this stall during your walk?
