3 Days in Akita – Japan’s Most Unvisited Region
Akita is a prefecture located in Japan’s Tohoku region. The area is known for deep snow and traditoinal foods and life style matching with the nature. I couldn’t do much as I miss planned the trip a bit, but I explored one of the major spots to visit in Akita, Kakunodate and Yokote. In addition, I used a special limited express Inaho on the way home .I hope you enjoy the travel vlog and find out if it’s your favorite area or not. Thank you for watching!

Thank you for this video Kengo. When were you in Kakunodate ? We are in Morioka and travelling there today. Hopefully there will be less snow.
Ohiogosaimus Kenchan san
That's a lot of snow
Delayed Train 🤔 that's very unusual in Japan
Thanks for the video
Thanks!
Excellent video, this is probably one of the least visited prefecture with only 0.44% of tourists coming to Japan going there.
I was in Kakunotate during spring last year and saw some amazing sakura along with eating the oyakodon. There is also a very delicious akita pudding shop near the famous samurai house street.
It is wonderful that you tried to help the couple who lost their phone, and it showcase why so many tourists have faith in Japanese to return items!
I am headed to tohoku again in April but will focus on fukushima this time around!
I don’t know Japan well even if I follow your videos but I feel like this region (around Morioka) is full of beautiful gem ;)))) thank you Kengo for this video I love it ❤
"I'm going wrong direction with confidence" this made me chuckle Kengo-San!
I too have been guilty of doing this in the past 😂
Another very entertaining video, I love to see you share these lesser known (from a tourist point of view) towns in Japan
Thank you Ken San, this looks such a beautiful area. For someone from Australia, it is hard to imagine this much snow! Amazing!
This video was very enjoyable. Thank you.
Looks lovely! Its a prefecture id love to visit so might plan to go for a few nights when im back in japan next year
Thank you for sharing another video. I like how you tell what is in the rooms. A toothbrush, two disposable slippers, etc. It's a nice detail. 🐢
I was in Kakunodate in November! Very nice town that I'd love to visit during cherry blossom season. I became obsessed with their Kabazaiku cherry bark art
I like these quieter areas that you visit. Your videos are a huge help in planning my visits to Japan. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing your trip to Akita. It looks beautiful for a visit. Kakunodate is my favourite part on this video as there are many cherry blossom trees and traditional samurai houses. That Akita dog is also cute.. I enjoyed watching this. Thank you again. 🙂
