福島県福島市に位置する大森城山公園は、戦国時代に伊達政宗の家臣・片倉小十郎景綱が城主を務めた大森城の跡地に整備された歴史ある公園です。園内にはソメイヨシノやシダレザクラなど約700本の桜が植えられており、春には美しい花々が訪れる人々を魅了します。

毎年春には「さくらまつり」が開催され、期間中は夜間のライトアップが行われ、幻想的な夜桜を楽しむことができます。また、週末を中心に露店やキッチンカーが並び、訪れる人々で賑わいます。

2025年のさくらまつりは3月29日から4月13日まで開催され、開花は4月8日、見頃は4月10日頃と予想されています。

Ōmori Jōyama Park is located in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture. This historic park is built on the site of Ōmori Castle, once governed during the Sengoku period by Katakura Kojūrō Kagetsuna, a retainer of the famous warlord Date Masamune.

The park is home to around 700 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Shidarezakura varieties. Every spring, the blossoms attract many visitors with their breathtaking beauty.

The annual Sakura Festival is held during the cherry blossom season. During this time, the trees are beautifully illuminated at night, creating a magical atmosphere for night-time hanami (flower viewing). On weekends, food stalls and kitchen cars line the park, adding to the festive mood.

In 2025, the Sakura Festival is scheduled from March 29 to April 13, with full bloom expected around April 10.
