  1. Kichijoji has all sorts of places that are just good and dont have any social media push, and I want to keep it that way!

  2. My dawg got persona 5 music playing in the background. Pls tell me you have played some Persona games, you will move that many notches up in my book

  3. I love this guys reviews. They come across as sincere and it’s about good food we all can or at hopefully obtain on a weekly basis and then he’s in Tokyo. And I immediately thought this is where I should sent my 17 year old daughter to get some Japanese culture. Love you reviews and if she says yes I going to follow your guidance on where to go and where not to go. Or at least I’ll pass on the advice. 😉 cheers for the amazing work you produce, I appreciate it as a good home cook and a food lover. 9+ out of 10 for each of your posts. That’s gold medal status. 😉

  4. To many people are scared of being considered a tourist, like it is super negative or something. No matter where you go or what you do you are still a tourist. What kind all depends on your choices once you are there. Try stuff you see on social media, try to find spots that call to you. Most importantly, Enjoy yourself.

  5. Locals in those quaint spots tucked away in the corners of Japan don’t want you there! Gaikoku hito wa inai (foreigners not welcome here)

  6. I was told by a resent tourist to JP and they said that Osaka > Kyoto.
Planning on staying in either for 4 days so any suggestions would be awesome.

  7. Holy shit. I've NEVER seen taco rice shouted out on a food channel. My wife is from Okinawa and we make it like 3 times a month.

    Mad respect for that one.
