埼玉県営「彩の森入間公園」埼玉県入間市向陽台2丁目地内
都市化が進む入間市の市街地に隣接し、昭和48年に米軍から返還された基地跡地です。昭和56年6月に、「ジョンソン飛行場住宅地区返還国有地の処理の大綱」において、県営公園として位置付けられ、みどり豊かな都市環境の形成や、住民の多様なレクリエーションの充足、また都市防災拠点とするため、広域的位置付けを持つ公園として、平成10年4月に開設されました。

Saitama Prefectural “Sainomori Iruma Park” Koyodai 2-chome, Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture
This is the site of a former base returned by the US military in 1973, adjacent to the urbanizing downtown area of Iruma City. In June 1981, it was designated as a prefectural park in the “Outline for the Treatment of National Land Returned from the Johnson Field Housing Area,” and was opened in April 1998 as a park with a wide-area positioning to create a green urban environment, satisfy various recreational activities for residents, and serve as an urban disaster prevention base.
