Kobe Portopia Hotel Hello! This is Hozuki. This time’s travelogue is a trip to Hyogo Prefecture (2 nights and 3 days)! This time, I would like to introduce “Kobe Portopia Hotel” in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture for my first night! *The second night will be at “Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe”! Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, where Kobe Portopia Hotel is located, is about a 40-minute drive from Osaka (next door!). By train, it takes about an hour to get from Osaka to the inn, and it’s a 3-minute walk from the nearest Portliner Shimin Hiroba Station, making it very accessible! There is also a shuttle bus from Sannomiya Station and Shin-Kobe Station! Kobe Portopia Hotel has a wonderful view and is a high class hotel, so the lobby and rooms are super nice! And a delicious buffet on the 30th floor! A buffet where each item is delicious! The stone oven roast beef is especially delicious! The Kobe pork and hotel special curry are also delicious! Breakfast is also delicious, and I highly recommend the roast beef bowl! The price starts from just under 17,000 yen per person depending on the date and plan! (1 night and 2 meals: as of March 2025) This time, I would like to tell you about the charms of Kobe Portopia Hotel, Hyogo Prefecture, and Kobe City. Thank you for your continued support this time! This time we traveled on the Hanshin Expressway. I’m heading to Kobe on Line 3! And after that, I couldn’t take a video because of equipment trouble! So time flies to the hotel parking lot… it took less than an hour to arrive from Osaka! Head to the hotel entrance via a passageway. I really like this communication passage! And I could see the hotel from the connecting passage! This is Kobe Portopia Hotel! It’s big! This is a long-established super huge hotel (737 rooms) in Kobe! Now let’s head to check-in! Wow, the entrance hall is quite gorgeous! Entrance hall is spacious! As expected from a long-established store, it’s a really nice hall! This time we will be staying in the south building! The carpet looks like a port and is wonderful! There was also a shop on the way to the south building! (I’ll come back later) It’s about a 3-minute walk to the south building… (the middle is nice too) When you get off the elevator, you can see the buildings! (The building in front of you is the main building) Pass through the hallway with a nice atmosphere and arrive at your room. The key was a card key! South comfort floor healing room has been slightly upgraded! Very nice room! The bed is spacious and big! We also have pajamas and bathrobes! First of all, let’s go out to the balcony! A relaxing space. nice. The TV is huge too! (I was able to change the angle) I’m also happy to have a Bluetooth speaker! And two free bottles of water. thank you. The south building is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like there is a banquet hall in the basement! I took the opportunity to go there… wow. How wide is this? Amazing depth… it seems like there are about 8 banquet rooms! (Used at weddings, etc.) Next, go to the store! Speaking of Kobe, there are plenty of Western sweets, including Chiikawa mini gaufres made in collaboration with Fugetsudo! (Top) Chikawa in Hyogo Prefecture is a sailor and Chinatown. cute. They sell a variety of soft drinks, but there are no alcoholic drinks (you can buy them at Family Mart).Once you move to the lobby (which is amazing), there is even water flowing throughout the building! Go to the shopping arcade inside the hotel! The shopping arcade “Pale Bianca” is quite spacious. It’s great that there is a Family Mart inside the hotel! You can buy alcohol here! There is also an in-house restaurant, Tajima, and a row of boutique shops called Palabianca. There are a lot of shops. Also a flower shop and a hair salon. And from this second floor… there is a direct connection (about 3 minutes) to the Port Liner Shimin Hiroba station! It’s amazing that there are so many shops even though it’s inside the hotel. There was a super cute little shopping bag! Oh, what is this? It was a model from the Kobe Port Island Expo (1981)! As you walk, you will see cherry blossoms and Japanese-style exhibits. I like this kind of thing. Looks like there’s a delicious bakery down here! A bakery called Delicates a la Maison! This shop is open for takeout and eat-in, and is known for its delicious cakes and breads! The bread certainly looks delicious… and the baked goods look delicious too. Quite reasonably priced! There were a lot of cakes, and there were many people eating in! I think I’ll buy Baumkuchen for dinner tonight. Try the Honey Baum (¥540) from Portopia Hotel! Lobby again. This is a shuttle bus that connects Sannomiya and the hotel! Departs every 20 minutes, which is quite convenient! After taking a short break in your room, it’s time for the long-awaited dinner! Hyuuhyuu! The restaurant is in the main building, so move! Apparently it’s on the 30th floor of the main building, so it has a great view! Gokoku-san, the sky grill buffet on the 30th floor! Please try it! The blood orange sorbet my partner gave me is refreshing! And the recommended mitarashi is quite delicious! Authentic! In the end, the apple cider vinegar drink was calorie free! Phew. Trevis, corn, red daikon radish, and mizuna with carrot rappe. Lettuce, baby leaves, cherry tomatoes, mixed beans, pickles, egg salad, and tossed salad. 6 types of dressing! I went with blue shiso to be safe. The omelet is served in the style of handing out a number tag! It was mushroom Japanese style, seafood cream, beef minced tomato! Ask for seafood cream and enjoy the next dish! It’s my favorite smoked salmon! yay. Next is cheese. I’ll have both process and cheddar! We also have the soft salami next door. It was a delicious and scenic inn, close to Osaka! After checking out, take the tour bus to Sannomiya! Enjoy boiled gyoza (¥550) and grilled gyoza (¥550) after creating the famous miso sauce at Gyozaen, the originator of Kobe gyoza miso sauce ! The miso sauce gyoza with Kobe beef was so delicious! Kobe Portopia Hotel has a wonderful view and is a high class hotel, so the lobby and rooms are super nice! And a delicious buffet on the 30th floor! A buffet where each item is delicious!
