⁴ᴷ Ishikawa: Kanazawa Station (石川県: 金沢駅) – Japan Walking Tour (May, 2025)
I traveled from Toyama to Kanazawa. Last time, I visited the area around Kanazawa Station and the Katamachi district separately, but this time I decided to walk from Kanazawa Station all the way to Katamachi.
I stopped by Omicho Market on the way, which took more time than expected, so I only had a chance to walk along the main street of Katamachi. I realized I really need to plan my time better.
One thing that stood out was the number of foreign tourists. It felt like nearly half the people I passed on the street were visitors from abroad.
