“Guiding KYOTO with my dog” Yuba Restaurant “Yuuzu” I have been interested in this restaurant for a long time. Lunch at this restaurant is served from 10:30. is just off Higashioji Street. Lunch is one type of “Yuba Tamago Gozen”. Additional menus can be arranged. I was the first to arrive. So I was able to sit at the counter and relax while watching the preparation. Private rooms, counter seats, and tables are available. You may choose it when making a reservation! Variously cooked yuba on bamboo grass. On top of the shiso leaves, yuba sashimi, salt, moromi soy sauce, and wasabi. Anyway, I was free to have whatever I liked. They were all really delicious! Yuba steamed in a bowl in the back. The deep-fried yuba was served in a broth. It is guaranteed to be tasty! I think everyone loves this. Pumped yuba is first served with salt. Next, it is served with dashi broth. Finally, the egg and yuba were served on rice! I visited the restaurant right after it opened, so I was able to relax. The food was delicious and varied. Thank you for the meal! Western restaurant “Emblem” A friend of mine introduced me here as the restaurant to go for fried shrimp! The hamburger dish she ordered! At the time, it was a set meal for 1,550 yen. The fried shrimp set meal I had! Delicious. The plump, odorless shrimp were fried crispy. I like to eat it with soy sauce. The hamburgers looked juicy and delicious! The restaurant was well cleaned. The atmosphere was similar to that of a “Smart Coffee” shop. A friend brought me to this restaurant. And yet, the data from that photo shoot was missing. So I am sorry for not being able to introduce the menu, etc! It was delicious! Thank you for the food. Chinese Cuisine “rokrok” Chinese restaurant in a renovated townhouse. The interior also has a retro feel. The tables next to the entrance were full of locals. Many people seated at the counter ordered the “Gomoku Ankake Fried Noodles”. So I ordered that as well! Looks yummy. The thick noodles are nice with starchy sauce. I wanted to shoot this angle once. (laughs) As I eat, I also got crispy noodles. It is also good to change the texture between moist and soft. Use mustard and vinegar to taste! Dessert is apricot jelly. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal. Coffee restaurant, ” DORF” This shooting data was also missing, but has been found! Founded in 1979. The Karasuma subway line opened in 1981. Until then, I had not had much contact with this area, except for the DORF. On this day, we came for breakfast. I had a set of crepes. Papa-san had the A set meal. Ice cream is wrapped in a crepe. Papa-san had the DORF Lunch set meal. It came with a hamburger steak! I was not hungry. So, I had the raspberry cake set. The decor also has a retro Showa-era feel. The months go by quickly! Cafe “Bibliotic Hello!” I introduced this cafe in a video 2 years ago. It is one of my favorite cafes. It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, and there are a lot of international visitors! This atmosphere may be popular among them. I was hungry, so I had lunch. You can spend time surrounded by many books and plants. A café renovated from a townhouse. In winter, a wood stove is placed for warmth. Carrot soup. Wagyu beef cutlet. It is served with lots of tomatoes and cheese, Milanese style. In Kansai, this is called beef cutlet. When I was a child, I used to see it all the time. We don’t see much of that these days, do we? Just as I was putting in this message, Kotamugi-san has just introduced this cafe on her channel! Being asked me if there were places to eat around there, and I was somewhat concerned. So I thought it would be good to shoot. People who seemed to be neighbors or regulars have already come here. The smoking room is also good for smokers! Prices may have changed since this video was shot some time ago. “D combination”; ham steak & curry croquettes. “C combination”; fried shrimp & pork fillet gingerbread.
