Photographed on October 2, 2024. Located in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture. Built by the Numata clan during the Kamakura period, the castle was fought over by the Uesugi clan of Echigo, the Hojo clan of Odawara, and the Takeda clan of Kai. Masayuki Sanada, who advanced into Numata on the orders of Katsuyori Takeda, recaptured Numata Castle and destroyed the Numata clan.
