I have already uploaded videos about my stay in Urumqi, my new home in Uyghur , and other videos about this trip, but I will be going back and forth a bit, so I would like to show you all the videos I have from Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, via Beijing. Right now, I am staying at a business hotel in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo , and will then get on to Haneda Airport and fly via Beijing with Air China. I will be staying overnight in Beijing due to a connecting flight, so I would like to show you all about that and other things. I have some time to relax in Beijing, so that’s all for today. I will be checking out and heading out to Beijing soon. I’m heading to Haneda Airport at the port. Now that I’ve checked out of the hotel, I’m going to Hamamatsucho Station on the Tokyo Monorail and then head to Haneda Airport from there. As a side note, this is a business hotel called Kyosto Inn. I used to stay there a lot during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Go2 pandemic. It was about 3,400 yen a night, so it was really cheap, but this time, of course, it wasn’t that cheap and it was about 15,000 yen a night, but Tokyo is expensive, so I recommend this hotel. The train you are taking is the Airport Rapid bound for Haneda Airport Terminal 13. [Applause] I’m Messiah, so it’s been quite a while since I’ve come to Haneda Airport Terminal 3, and now I’m going to check in with Air China. The entire process this time is with Air China, and I’ll talk about that later. So I went to the check-in counter, but it was still a little early and it wasn’t open yet. I may have already explained this, but this time I’m going to Beijing by myself, but I’m meeting up with a friend and we’ll go around the new Eagle together, so I’ve planned to go on a whim and lead the way, and this time I’ve left the travel arrangements and plane tickets to that person. This time I’ll be traveling with a very reliable companion, and he can speak Chinese and English as well , so I thought it might be a bit strange for me to go to the new Eagle by myself, so I decided to have him accompany me this time, and he runs a company in China and also in Japan, so I’ll leave everything to him. The welcome drinks were tomato juice, orange juice, and champagne. So I chose the orange juice. This time my seat is 13L. [Music] I think it’s a window seat, right in front of the engine. It’s empty. There are about six people in business class. There is a lot of space, but six people is quite a small number. I think this flight to Beijing is important. I wonder if Shanghai and Beijing will be like this once Golden Week is over. The seat itself is really old, but it has a lot of pitch, so it’s weirdly fully flat and the legroom is narrow. I quite like it compared to the narrower ones. If there was no one next to me it would be a really nice seat, so I don’t think anyone will come since there are only six people on board. Well, the seats are quite worn out and old. It was fluffy, wasn’t it? I liked it surprisingly. Finally, some people got on so there were about 10 people in total. But that’s still only about 30% of the total. My seat is waiting. [Music] So, I just came to take my in-flight meal order. There was quite a variety. First, the chicken was on the menu called Japanese chicken rice. I didn’t get a menu, but the fish and shrimp was kind of Chinese style. Then there was Western beef steak. I said I don’t eat much, but they had beef steak , so I chose that. The flight time was 3 It takes 50 minutes, 4 hours. Yes, it probably takes longer to go from here. Because of the wind, it takes about 3 hours from Beijing to Japan, but even so, even if it’s so short, it’s like, “There’s steak and stuff? I don’t know what the quality is.” Let’s just take a quick look. I have an appointment to eat that meal after I get to that pen, so I’m a little worried. I’m so full, I’m so tired now, and later, I forgot to mention that I have a sprain and it’s recurring. It’s not that serious, but it’s a bit of a strain. It’s really hard to sit for a long time, so it’s easier to stand or walk. That’s why I really don’t want to get on a plane. Well, it’s business class, so it’s totally comfortable, but it hurts just to sit, so now we’re heading to Xinjiang, which is a tough place . Now it’s our turn to take off, so we’re about 30 minutes late in total. Yes, we’re taking off now, everyone. The actual time is 3 hours and 40 minutes. Please check your seat belts again. If it were Nikkei’s Air In, I would probably think that with this much shaking they would stop in-flight service, but as you’d expect from Air China, they continued without any problems. Just when it seemed the shaking had calmed down a bit, my meal came, and as I said before, I chose the Western beef steak, and the meal that came out looked like this, and I wondered if it was farmed. It was a beef steak, and all the ingredients were roast beef, so the main course was the same tofu or double beef, but the fact that they serve so much on such a short route and you can choose from three types is quite amazing, isn’t it? I think Air China is really doing a great job. Of course, it’s made in Japan, and there are all kinds of Japanese dishes like this, like boiled fish, but it ‘s not farmed, is it? It’s a Western steak, a beef steak, but it was good in its own way. The meat was quite tender, and I mean, it’s a steak after all, No, it was something stewed with cattle, yes, this was just regular roast beef, yes it was just normal and delicious, the best part was the potato salad, yes it was a gentle Japanese potato salad, and the bread we had was garlic baguette toast, it was like a regular Japanese beef stew set meal, it was good, the meat was stewed very tender and had a normal soy sauce based flavour which was delicious , and at the end dessert was brought out properly, fruit and ice cream were properly separated, and we were also given hot coffee, but it was a meal that felt like a long-distance flight, served in this short bottle . I’ve never featured it on my channel, Beijing Kin, but apparently there’s a restaurant inside a huge shopping mall, so I’ve never heard of it before. I don’t know any information but I was shown around and this is a Beijing restaurant called Haitang which is said to be one of the top 5 in Beijing. They prepared this for me. Of course it’s my first time but it seems to be really delicious. I’ll go in right away. Wow, it’s on a whole different level. It’s amazing. Normally when I come to China I don’t go to places like this so I’m really impressed by this high spec restaurant. The way the people eating there are dressed and their level of civility is different. The man quietly ordered a carbonated water. I have no idea what he ordered but something that looks really amazing came. Oh thank you, it’s amazing, this is abalone, right? I was reviewing what I ate the other day and was talking about something from Buddhist General and it seems like it’s like an even more amazing version of that. Well, I know this is abalone too. But it’s really delicious. Just this soup was really good, so they do everything for you. Is it okay? I’m a little too aristocratic to eat this kind of meal, but it has caviar, Peking skin, fried whitebait, and this crispy bread-like thing on the bottom, and it’s the type of thing that you eat as is. I’ve never seen this before. Let’s eat it. Yes, this is really delicious. It’s amazing. It’s a taste I’ve never tasted before. This one is beef-like something. And this one is shiitake mushrooms and chicken. It’s chicken. I’m not sure what it tastes like, but I haven’t tried it yet , so this one might be easier to eat. This terminal at the airport has only been renovated for a month, and it seems like it has only been open since it opened, but it is very clean. The inside of the airport is very clean. I will use it again later, but just in case, there is a Burger King. I just found a Chagi in the airport, and Mr. Ito who is with me said he would drink some, so I bought one with him. I haven’t received my luggage yet, but I think I will drink Chagi. Anyway, I received my luggage and went outside. Now I’m going to the hotel. It’s very clean. There are a lot of people and it doesn’t seem different from other airports in China so far. This is Ulm airport. Ulm has a subway, doesn’t it? I didn’t think there was one. It ‘s connected directly to the airport. The subway is good. It’s developed a lot. Now, I’m going to the hotel with the dentist app D. Yes, just in case, you can use D in Uyghur, so it says Shinkyo D. From what I see now, there are no Japanese Toyota cars or other Japanese cars at all, so in a way it’s kind of refreshing. Wherever you go in China, there are a lot of Japanese cars, but there aren’t many European cars either. [Music] The roads around the airport are well-maintained and it really looks like the scenery around airports in any city in China. There are a lot of big buildings and airport hotels. It’s really beautiful, and the roads are perfectly maintained. It’s a really big city. I never thought there would be so many MUJI brands. It’s nice. [Music] [Music] So this time we are going to stay for two nights at this Mercure Hotel, an antiques-style hotel. We will be staying here for two nights. It is wonderful. It is connected to the Wonder Plaza, a shopping mall that is common in China, and there is the Muji I showed you earlier, as well as the convenience store Burger King, and it is in the center of town, so it is a great place to get around. Yes, I would like to check in now. Yes, it is like this. There is a strict security check when you enter the building, but it wasn’t strict. There was no one there, so it was a pattern that they didn’t do it. However, I saw that there were many security checkpoints like checkpoints in various places. There were quite a few military personnel as well. So we went inside. We will check in now, and check -in is complete. This time we stayed in a corner room, 2406. It’s been a while since we’ve stayed at a Mercure. So I will give you a brief introduction to the room . It is a corner room, but it is not a suite or anything, but it is a very spacious room. It has a TV in the middle. They prepared a high-quality room for us. There is also a desk, and this place is amazing. The bed is 1 It’s so big you could almost fit your whole body inside, and I think you can see the Uighur town. It’s connected directly to the shopping mall, so yes, it looks like this. There’s a washlet toilet and a clean sink, and all the amenities are there too. There’s no bathtub, but the shower looks like this . So, I safely arrived at my new home, Urum city in the Uyghur region, and was able to check into the hotel. Compared to the Chinese towns I’ve been to up until now, it felt a bit like going abroad, like going to a country I’ve never been to before, and I was feeling a bit anxious, so I wonder how long it will actually take to get back to Uighur towns compared to the image people have of them in Japan and the news they hear about.
