【京都】食べて歩いて即帰宅するvlog
Hello! I’m Nanao and I came to Gion-Shijo in Kyoto. What did I do? I came to eat bagels! There are a few bakeries that I’m interested in, so I ‘m planning to buy some bread and then stop by Kiyomizu-dera Temple before returning to Gion-Shijo. I want to believe in my leg strength from walking from Shichijo to Sanjo before, but it’s a bit hotter than I thought and I don’t think I’ll be able to do it at all. By the way, are you the type of person who travels or goes on trips in the summer too? I don’t like the heat (I hate sweating), so in the summer I used to be the type of person who wouldn’t leave the house on my days off, but recently it’s been hot not only in July and August but also from June to October, and the temperature makes you want to wear short sleeves all the time, so I’ve gradually given up on the concept of summer, so this year I’m making plans to go out even in the heat with the mentality of “It’s summer, so it’s all about sweating!” RABBIT BAGELS Shijo Shinmachi Store I edited it quickly, but after a 20-minute walk I finally arrived, and when I came before noon they weren’t sold out and I had an all-you-can-choose fish and fries burger and banana chocolate blueberry And!!! And here it is!!! 4 carefully selected take-out bagels 🥯 This (Shijo Shinmachi store) only has a simple eat-in space, so if you want to relax and enjoy a cafe, the Marutamachi store seems better Here’s a quick introduction to the bagels with still images!! If you come before 12 o’clock there was a wide variety (^ω^)⭐️ The custard inside of the banana custard is delicious! I managed to get the matcha white chocolate that was sold out before 🤗 I didn’t want to eat the matcha, so I’m still letting it sit in the freezer. Actually, I haven’t eaten this one yet either… It’s a pain to defrost it after freezing it. The Earl Grey didn’t have as much punch as I thought it would, so I ate it while adding cream cheese myself . If I had to rank them, I’d say the red bean paste cream cheese is number one 🥇 The sweet red bean paste and cream cheese go together perfectly. The temperature was higher than I thought, so I gave up on the curry flavor . Next time I’d like to try it at an eat-in counter 😠😠 So I’m eating a fish sandwich, but they don’t reheat it, so it’s a bit hard… but the tartar sauce inside feels especially delicious. I should have taken this home and lightly toasted it before eating it 🤔 I was nervous about whether I could finish it, but I was hungry, so I finished both the fish burger and the banana sandwich! Thinking about it, I’ve taken in a lot of calories from fried food, bread, and bananas. My stomach feels like it’s going to explode, so I decided to take a walk and come to Rokkakudo (a fierce 3-step guide to the parking lot) (why?? lol) Is it something like a pigeon of happiness? ? And there are a lot of pigeons here… Hmm? I see (^ω^) One smile a day (^ω^) No, maybe not? Does that mean “smile all day”? I thought they were encouraging people to smile at least once a day. So I came to Blue Bottle Coffee to get a cold cafe latte. It was more expensive than I thought and I was about to break out in a cold sweat at the register 😌 I got takeout, so I’m waiting. Ah, I got takeout with the ulterior motive of looking good, but it was a paper cup 😗 I thought it was plastic before, but is that sustainable? ? So! I was planning to go around to various bakeries, but I ended up buying 4 bagels at once at the first shop… so I’ll give up on going around to bakeries and do something else!! I took a bus to Heian Shrine. I wondered what to do, but it seemed like there was a Monet exhibition, so I decided to go to the Kyocera Museum of Art . It was an unexpected solo museum visit. In the fall, they have a Hello Kitty exhibition! I’ll have to come again. I didn’t know that museums have such a planned schedule for the whole year. And you can feel the number of people from far away… ! I was surprised to see so many people appreciating art on a weekend . It’s cool, I feel some negative ions. I think it’s because the interior of the museum is whitish and bright, and the ceiling is high. I was nervous because it was my first time appreciating art, but I rented Yuriko Ishida’s audio guide, so I felt like “I’m enjoying the paintings elegantly…!!” That’s how I felt for an hour. Next time, I’d like to make a museum playlist (to get into the atmosphere) and walk around the museum while listening to my favorite songs. I ‘d like to come again on a weekday lunch or when it’s not busy . Um, I wasn’t planning on coming here, but… on the way to the sweets shop Gion Komori, I found the Tenkaippin sign! When I left the museum and got on the bus, I felt like eating something sweet, but the moment I saw “Tenkaippin”, I was completely in the mood for ramen. I was wondering if I should just have ramen, but today I’m going to have ramen from a food stall and fried rice! And garlic chives!! The other day I had a rich one, but the taste of the food stall is pretty good too. Now , I’m going to look back on my original plan. I was going to have some matcha and sweets at a sweet shop, then take a walk around Kiyomizu-dera Temple, digest my stomach, and finally make my debut at Daiichi Asahi Main Store. My plan ended without any finalization… From now on, I want to conquer the famous ramen shops in Kyoto little by little! But actually, I’ve never even tried Ichiran ramen 🫣 I’m a ramen beginner… I’m interested in Jiro-style ramen, but it seems like I need to practice, and that seems like it! I’d like to go to Shinpuku Saikan too! If you have any recommended ramen shops, please let me know! But should I go to Ichiran first… my stomach will explode) ^ o ^ ( What should I do now? Is it a 20-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera… I don’t know much about Chion-in Temple, so I think walking 20 minutes is a bit weird, so I’ll go to Yasaka Shrine. Wait… I think I forgot to bring my goshuin (stamps) ヽ (;▽;)ノ I bought them all, but I haven’t been able to collect them all… I came here just to offer money and enjoy the atmosphere. The weather is getting gloomy, so I’m going to leave. I also wanted to go to a cafe today (´-ω-`) It’s been a day where my schedule and hunger didn’t match up. I was about to go home without feeling like I’d finished, but to my surprise, I found Miffy!! I thought it was only in Arashiyama! I didn’t know there was a store in Shijo too 🫣 My wild instincts unconsciously led me to Miffy. I wonder which limited edition item it is?? Japanese-style Miffy is cute!!!! I’m at an age where I want to be particular about interior design, so I’ll buy a magnet as a souvenir for myself . Our house isn’t particularly large, but we have more and more things every year. I want to be a mysterious minimalist, but it’s difficult 😗 Edible things are consumables! Which one should I get? The Miffy store is surprisingly delicious, so I didn’t buy much dorayaki, but the paper bag was cute and I felt happy 🫶 I have to go to Miffy stores all over the country to collect paper bags. I made another detour and impulsively bought some candy. I like this kind of thing! And it’s expensive! Lol (about 200 yen). Finally, I thought that I should finish with matcha, so I made a detour to Tsujiri. As for what I ordered…? White peach sencha ヽ(*^ω^*)ノ It felt more refreshing than matcha 😗 So I returned safely to Shijo. After returning home… I don’t really need to introduce it, but here are some of my purchases! The Monet exhibition was really popular and there were so many people that I was surprised (I think the exhibition period will be over by the time the video is uploaded). Every summer, I imagine myself having lunch alone on the riverbank in Kyoto, and this year I want to make it happen to improve my level of eating alone! Maybe
