【奈良】絶対に行って欲しい奈良カフェを一挙紹介|奈良観光・旅行

The setting for this video is Nara Prefecture. Nara is also home to historical buildings, beautiful nature, delicious gourmet food, and stylish cafes! I would like to introduce some of the cafes I have visited so far that I especially recommend. I would be happy if you could use them as a reference for your future trips. The first café I would like to introduce is located in the “Naramachi” area south of Kintetsu Nara Station. This gelato shop was opened in August of 2024. The interior of the store, which is a renovated old private house, is too nice..! More than 10 kinds of homemade gelato are lined up. The logo on the showcase is also cute. This time I ordered milk and chai chocolate. The milk is rich and classic delicious.

And the chai chocolate is delicious…! The aroma of spices and the sweetness of rich chocolate. The large windows offer a quaint view of the scenery, and vinyl records play softly in the store. The space has been beautifully renovated while preserving the good old days.

I was able to relax for a while. This is a great place to stop by while strolling in Naramachi. ☺️ The next store we will introduce is also a gelato shop. This gelato shop is famous for using seasonal ingredients from Nara 😍. I ordered three kinds that day: melon, mitarashi, and corn!
There were flavors I had never tried before and it was fun to choose. I was especially surprised by the corn!

The aroma of the ingredients was so rich and the balance of sweetness was perfect. The name of the restaurant, “Nonna” means “grandmother” in Italian, and they value a somewhat simple and nostalgic flavor. It is a wonderful restaurant that I would like to visit every time the seasons change. Next up is a coffee stand that opened in July 2024. The wood counter and large back shelves make for a cool interior. Coffee is carefully dripped in the comfortable store with records playing. You can’t help but look at it. Iced coffee poured into a glass that was chilled to a crisp.
It was very delicious 🥹. Coffee while listening to the record. I enjoyed a mature time. Next, I would like to introduce “sorairo coffee!
This coffee stand is located one street inside from Naramachi Boulevard. It is a retro store renovated from an old private house. On this day, I had an iced coffee with a strong bitter taste.
It was so delicious! The store is small and minimalist, so the owner and I were close, and the conversation was natural and enjoyable! Coffee is exceptional when enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere while listening to the music playing in the background. You can enjoy coffee in the store or take it out, so please stop by for a coffee while strolling around Naramachi. Yoshinosha” is a Japanese confectionery store facing Naramachi Boulevard. The natural atmosphere is very nice. At dusk, the store is filled with warm sunlight. I really like the zenzai made with homemade anko (sweet red bean paste). The sweet red bean paste and the crispy and savory baked rice cake are irresistible. It is irresistibly delicious. If you visit in the summer, I also recommend the anmitsu (sweet bean paste) and parfait. The sweetness of the sweets served in a relaxing atmosphere in the hidamari was exceptional. Next, let me introduce another store close to Naramachi Boulevard. Kashiya” is a Japanese confectionery store in a renovated row house. The good old tenement house in Nara has been left as it was, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When we were seated, we were offered warm hand towels and tea. A stylish café is nice, but it is also nice to have a cup of tea in a calm Japanese-style space. I ordered a set of seasonal fresh sweets and sencha green tea. The seasonal sweets were steamed yokan made with “Miyoshino” Yoshino kudzu.
Smooth texture and gentle sweetness. Delicious~. When the hourglass has fallen off, hot water is poured in. It goes well with sweets… a time to heal~. It’s a wonderful Naramachi-like store where you can savor the time that passes slowly. Next, let us introduce you to another Naramachi shop. This store opened in 2021 near the five-story pagoda of Kofukuji Temple. Cafe & Bar MIROKU TERRACE is located on the first floor of a hotel. The interior of the store is filled with natural light.
Outside are swaying trees and beautiful lawn. We recommend the raspberry fruit soda.
It was refreshing and delicious with just the right amount of sourness… Beautiful transparency.
The bouncing carbonation is pleasant. The sweet was a matcha green tea basque cheesecake. The rich matcha green tea spread all over my mouth and was delicious..! The terrace seats with a beautiful lawn in front of you.
Perfect for the coming season. When you are on the terrace, deer sometimes come close to you. ☺️
If you come to Nara, you should visit this cafe at least once. Next, I would like to introduce this store, which is open only on weekends. This is my favorite terrace cafe surrounded by greenery in the rich nature of Takahata-cho. The atmosphere inside is also very nice, with a warm wooden interior that makes you feel at home The sweets you can enjoy in a space with a view of abundant greenery are exceptional. Be sure to visit the terrace on a sunny day. The Western-style building built in the Taisho era (1912-1926) and the earthen walls surrounding it are registered tangible cultural properties. The store is open only during limited hours in the afternoon, so it is very precious…. The drink I ordered was a muscat squash. Refreshing sweetness and lemon acidity.
It was the best soda I’ve ever had outside… A time to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, under a beautiful blue sky and gentle sunlight filtering through the trees. The occasional pleasant breeze slips through your cheeks. If you are in Nara on a weekend, please visit this place. Next is Miyake, a famous shaved ice store near Tomio Station. There is a line of people waiting in line every day, and on this day we arrived at the opening time, but the store was already full. I ordered shaved ice with a generous amount of Uji green tea and milk. The fluffy texture of the ice could be felt the moment you lifted it up with a spoon! The bitterness of the green tea and the refined sweetness of the red bean paste. Very delicious! The garden that can be seen from inside the store is also very relaxing…! Why don’t you go there this summer? ☺️ Next, we left Nara City and came to Tenri City. Next, we left Nara City and came to Tenri City to visit a cake shop “Cocoa Eye” located in a place rich in nature. The scenery is peaceful and makes you want to take a deep breath. First of all, I chose a cake from the showcase and placed my order. There are so many varieties, it is really hard to decide which one to choose😍. After placing your order, head to the eat-in space. No way, they even have a treehouse like this!

The matcha green tea is delicious and fragrant! You can take off your shoes and enjoy the sweets forgetting about the time.
It is a very relaxing time. It is easy to come in with children, and we encourage you to visit with your family. ☺️ The last store we would like to introduce to you is Soraki, located in Yoshino. It is a store dealing with props and artists’ vessels. We decided to pay a little visit to the shop, which offers not only sundries but also a coffee shop. I ordered a cheesecake and lemonade. A simple baked cheesecake. It was rich and delicious! The homemade lemonade is just the right amount of sweetness, and the lemon flavor fills your mouth. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a quiet coffee in a space with a view of nature,
