【大阪西成】一泊1800円の激安ホテルに初めて宿泊、こんなはずじゃなかった…

Hi, I’m Yuuka. Today, I’m in Osaka after coming back from Ehime Prefecture. I’m staying at a hotel tonight, and I found a super cheap and nice hotel! It’s called SUNPLAZA II ANNEX. The regular price for a night was 3,500 yen, but I booked it through Agoda and got cashback, so I ended up paying only 1,800 yen! Isn’t that insanely cheap? It’s so cheap that instead of feeling happy… I’m actually feeling a bit anxious. Anyway, I’m going to stay there tonight. This hotel is located in Nishinari, Osaka. I’ve never been to Nishinari before, so I’m a bit worried about the safety and all. Today, I’m going to find out why it’s so cheap! Alright, let’s go! The nearest station to the hotel is Doubutsuen-mae Station on the Midosuji Line. It takes about 20 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station, so the access is actually pretty convenient. However, when I looked it up beforehand, I found tons of articles saying Nishinari has safety concerns… So, just in case, I brought a personal safety alarm with me. On the way to the hotel, there are convenience stores, izakayas, and takoyaki shops. They all look super delicious, but I’m holding back and heading straight to the hotel. If you come from JR Shin-Imamiya Station, it’s only a 1-minute walk. I should’ve taken that route for a safer option. *For someone bad with directions, new places are tough.* I’ve arrived! This is where I’ll be staying today, SUNPLAZA II ANNEX. The exterior looks like a regular hotel, but I wonder what it’s like inside. Alright, let’s check in! *I’m looking around too much… kinda embarrassing.* I checked in without any issues. Now, heading to the women-only floor on the 2nd floor by elevator. My room is Room 204. So far, I still have no clue why it’s so cheap… I’m excited to see what kind of room awaits me. Here comes the big moment! Alright, let’s open the door. Ta-da! This is what the room looks like. It’s not that spacious, but… for 1,800 yen, it’s totally worth it. After traveling for about 5 hours from Ehime, I’m just glad I made it here safely. Alright, let’s start the room tour! The room is a private one with a lock. Check-out is at 10 AM, but… you can extend your stay for 3 more hours for just 500 yen. 160 yen per hour—that’s unbelievably cheap! It also comes with an air conditioner. Guess the room price includes the cost of a Daikin AC too. There’s also a TV and a fridge in the corner. Compared to a standard business hotel, the facilities don’t seem all that different. There’s no private bathroom in the room, but instead, there’s a large public bath on the first floor. *They also have a shower room available 24/7.* The bed is a single size, and there’s a trash bin and a side table with a mirror next to it. It’s super simple. There’s also a light switch above the bed and two power outlets. Now, let’s check out the view from the window! Let’s see what we’ve got… Ta-da! It’s a parking lot. If you came by car, this would be super convenient. On the right, you can see Shin-Imamiya Station and the OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts. And with that, this concludes my report from the scene! Taking a little break. Oh yeah. I bought some 551 at Osaka Station earlier! My first time trying 551. There was a huge line, and I waited about 20 minutes to get it. Pork bun. Wait, it’s cold… I guess I need to microwave this before I can eat it. But there’s no microwave in this room. Maybe there’s one on the first floor? I’m going to check. If there isn’t one… it’s over. I’ve come to the first-floor lobby in search of a microwave. There’s a vending machine area like this, but I doubt there’s a microwave here… Just as I was about to give up and drown my sorrows in alcohol… Ta-da! I found it! A microwave! And they even have complimentary chopsticks. So thoughtful. Honestly… I could live here. While my 551 is heating up, I’m going to explore the hotel. There’s a women’s public bath here. And all of this is included in the 1,800 yen stay. Seriously, this price is insane. Sorry… that was fake Kansai dialect. Please don’t send complaints. At the back of the lobby, there’s a 24-hour self-serve machine with free coffee, tea, and green tea. And you can even take it back to your room! Going further down the hallway, I found a coin laundry. Since some people stay here long-term, this is definitely super convenient. And the thing that surprised me the most… There’s a full kitchen! You could buy groceries from Super Tamade and cook your own meals. This is mind-blowing. A ramen map of the area around the hotel. Is this the same “Muteppou” as the cup noodles? It looks so good… Now I’m getting hungry. By the way, at the end of the 2nd floor, there’s a women-only powder room. Inside, there are two shower rooms that are available for free 24/7. The showerheads are from ReFa, and they also provide shampoo, conditioner, and everything you need. Oh, the hair dryers are ReFa too. The mystery of this insanely cheap hotel just keeps deepening… *They even have hair straighteners. So thoughtful!* I’m back! Glad I found a microwave. Wow, this looks amazing. My first 551! Let’s dig in. Now, how does it taste…? Delicious! It’s so good. No wonder there’s always a long line! This is insanely good… So, because this hotel is only 1,800 yen, I thought there might be some issues, but… So far, I haven’t found any at all. In fact, it’s actually really nice. The staff are all super kind, the facilities are well-equipped, and I honestly have no idea why it’s so cheap. Just to be clear, this is NOT a sponsored video. So don’t worry! My first 551… it’s incredible. From now on, whenever I visit Osaka, it’ll feel sad if I don’t have 551. That was a great meal. Gonna take a little break, then head to the bath. I’m so full… I probably shouldn’t have eaten four of these by myself. That was too much… Now, time for a little tea break in the living r— Wait, I mean, the lobby. I love that I don’t have to buy tea from a vending machine. The lobby is surprisingly quiet, and it feels really comfy here. *For an introvert, “comfy” means “nobody’s around.”* Oh, by the way, the hotel has free Wi-Fi, and here are the speed test results. Looks perfectly fine. I tried pulling a Pokémon card, and… Got a Crown Palkia! While exploring the hotel, I found a terrace called “Omotenashi Terrace,” all lit up. I want to get my money’s worth, so I’ll use this too. Lately, I’ve been coming to Osaka twice a month, and I used to stay at Kaikatsu Club. But this hotel is way cheaper, and the location isn’t bad either, so I think this could be my new base in Osaka. *More like a room tour than a stay.* This seems like a great place to edit videos during my stay. Seeing this Christmas tree still up in February makes me feel like I should keep going, too. Alright, next up, let’s check out the public bath I’ve been curious about. This is the changing area for the public bath. There are small lockers where you can store your valuables. Just to clarify, I got permission to film both the changing area and the bath. So don’t worry, it’s all good! Ta-da! This is what it looks like inside. Super clean! Of course, there’s also a men’s bath, so I hope this is helpful for anyone planning to stay here. Alright, time to take a bath! Just got out of the bath and back to my room. Tonight’s pajamas are strawberry-themed. I know I’m moving kinda weird, but… please don’t say my brain is as flowery as the wallpaper. Now, time for the long-awaited drink time! I thought about buying some alcohol, but it would’ve cost more than my hotel stay, so I decided to pass on it. Uh… okay… so hear me out. I really wasn’t planning on drinking. But when you think of Osaka, you think of Dotonbori. And when you think of Dotonbori, you think of Asahi Beer. So… I had no choice but to buy it. By the way, at this hotel, you can check in as early as 7:30 AM and stay for up to 26 hours per night. And all the facilities I showed earlier are included, so the cost-performance is amazing. I once saw a news segment where they interviewed guests at this hotel. Apparently, some people have lived here for 30 years. The owner said they offer affordable rates to help support people like them. That’s pretty amazing. This stay wasn’t just cheap— I actually learned a lot from it. Oh, and this waffle I’m holding? You can get it for free by posting on social media. So I got mine thanks to this video! With sweet waffles and beer, I feel like I could stay here forever. My snacks and beer are almost gone already. I’ve already booked my ride back to Tokyo tomorrow, so I think it’s about time to wrap things up. Alright, time for bed. Good night! Good morning! It’s morning now. I slept so well… that I overslept. It’s probably around 11 AM now, but I extended my check-out until 1 PM. It cost an extra 500 yen, but I decided to take the extra time. Now, I’ll start packing up to head home. To extend check-out, you don’t even need to go to the front desk. You just hang a card on your door, so I did that in advance, knowing I might oversleep. Maybe because it was so comfortable, even though I only stayed one night, I actually feel sad checking out. All packed! Alright, time to check out. I just checked out. So, I stayed at a budget hotel in Nishinari, Osaka. It was way better than I expected, and for only 1,800 yen, I was shocked at how well-equipped it was. The biggest surprise was that the hair dryers were ReFa, and even the showerheads were ReFa. On the first floor, there were free drinks, with unlimited coffee and tea. With all these services, I honestly started worrying if they were making any profit… As for safety, I didn’t go out at night, so I can’t say for sure, but looking outside from my window, it didn’t seem unsafe at all. The location is super convenient, so I even thought about making this my go-to place whenever I come to Osaka. Thank you for watching until the end today! If you ever visit Osaka, I really recommend this hotel. Definitely give it a try! If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, and subscribe! Bye-bye!

  6. Thank you for the information video and recommendation,it's a very cheap hotel, even cheaper than a hostel and my rent I pay every month
