The Tokyo Metro 15000 Series (東京メトロ15000系) is the latest type of Tokyo Metro owned rolling stock to operate on the Tōzai Line (東西線), or literally East-West Line. Similar to the 10000 series rolling stock, the 15000 series is built by Hitachi to A-train specifications and fitted with Mitsubishi Electric IGBT-VVVF traction control system. It is capable of operating through services to JR Chuo-Sobu Line after Nakano.
