sub【新千歳空港】絶対食べたい!北海道グルメ完全攻略🍜日本一美味しい空港に宿泊して、北海道グルメを食べつくします!
Hello everyone! I’m Amy, a golf traveler! I’m back in Hokkaido for a golf trip this summer! Once again, I’m staying overnight at my favorite airport in Japan and sampling all the Hokkaido delicacies at New Chitose Airport! A new restaurant opened this year, so I lined up to try them all! I even tried a variety of flavors at a popular soft serve ice cream shop! I also tried sushi, which I’ve always wanted to try, but it’s always so crowded. Once again, I’m touring New Chitose Airport and enjoying the delicious Hokkaido cuisine! I hope you’ll join me! I’ve arrived at New Chitose Airport, home to some of the most delicious food in Japan! Time management is key to conquering New Chitose Airport’s gourmet offerings! Let’s get started! First, I’m going to try the rare bread, the most difficult to find at New Chitose Airport. The 12:00 and 12:25 breads are currently sold out, and the next bakery will be at 1:25 PM. I tried Biei Senka’s corn bread for the first time and was blown away! I absolutely want to try it again this year, so I came prepared to wait in line. Since the schedule didn’t work out, I decided to drop off my luggage at the hotel first. This year, I’m staying at the Air Terminal Hotel, which is directly connected to the airport! Since it’s directly connected to the domestic terminal, staying here is like a dream, allowing you to enjoy New Chitose Airport all day long. I ‘ll drop off my luggage and head back right away! I lined up at 12:40 (45 minutes before the 1:25 PM bake session) and managed to secure the perfect spot to buy some! The “Corn Bread” doesn’t have a set baking time; it’s baked every 1-2 hours and sold 5-8 times a day. Biei Senka is popular for its “Corn Bread” and “Bean Bread,” both exclusive to New Chitose Airport. Today is Sunday, but weekends are even busier! You’ll need to line up at least 45 minutes before they bake to get your hands on them. There’s a limit of two boxes per person, and they sell out in the afternoon due to limited quantities. The Bean Bread is only sold when the store opens at 8:00 AM, making it even more of a rare treat! As you wait in line, once a certain number of people have gathered, you’ll be given a numbered ticket to confirm the number of items you’ll be purchasing. My card was number 36! There were only two groups behind me this time, so it seems they sell about 40 to 50 boxes per session. Sales run out by the evening, so it’s best to line up early. I’m hungry! Enjoy Hokkaido cuisine on the third floor! The third floor, Gourmet World, is home to a collection of delicious Hokkaido restaurants! The most popular area on this floor is Hokkaido Ramen Dojo. It brings together 10 famous restaurants from across Hokkaido. Enjoy a variety of Hokkaido ramen styles, including miso, soy sauce, salt, and seafood, from Sapporo, Asahikawa, Hakodate, and Kushiro. You can tour Hokkaido ramen here without traveling the entire prefecture! The most popular is Ebisoba Ichigen. There’s always a line no matter what time you go. When I first tried it, I was blown away by the rich shrimp soup, and I was instantly hooked. Now, they sell instant noodles and are a famous restaurant with locations not only in Hokkaido but also in Tokyo, Osaka, and overseas, but they offer one-of-a-kind Hokkaido ramen! If you have to choose just one place, I recommend Ichigen! The key is to arrive early. There are plenty of other recommended restaurants! We filmed this just before closing time, but it gets incredibly crowded during the day! Yukiakari serves the ultimate Sapporo miso ramen! Personally, when I’m craving miso, I go to Yukiakari for the miso butter corn ramen. Ramen Sora is also a renowned Sapporo ramen restaurant! If you’re looking for “Hakodate Shio Ramen,” this is the place to go! The most popular dish at Hakodate Noodle Kitchen Ajisai is their “Special Shio Ramen.” These straight noodles, clear soup, and elegant flavor are truly a work of art! For more details on Ajisai and Ichigen, please refer to last year’s video! Highly recommended for those who like light ramen. Keyaki, with its flagship store in Sapporo Susukino, is a popular restaurant with a particularly long line. Their miso ramen is known for its generous vegetable count. Even though it was 2:00 PM, the popular restaurant already had a long line. So, where should I have my first meal upon arriving at New Chitose Airport? I decided to go to Ramen Kuu, which serves Sapporo miso ramen! After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, I finally got in. I ordered the “Grilled Corn Ramen,” a New Chitose Airport exclusive! It was topped with a generous amount of grilled corn! It was a 100% visual! Hmm, Hokkaido corn is sweet! The roasted corn added a fragrant accent. The miso soup was sweet, and the butter melted into it, creating a rich flavor. The noodles were medium-thick and curly, mixing perfectly with the soup. They were firm and chewy, and the noodles themselves were delicious!!! This was a satisfying bowl. This is my third time eating at Ramen Kuu, and it’s consistently delicious, with a Hokkaido feel! In January 2024, a fire burned down the entire Sapporo main store, leaving the New Chitose Airport location the only one open in Japan. It was a truly special bowl! I hope the main store reopens soon. They’ve also expanded overseas, with locations in Las Vegas, Cebu, and Singapore. Even when traveling abroad, I often see Japanese-owned sushi and ramen shops. Even ramen bowls are lined up for 5,000 yen! It’s so delicious. Prices have risen in Japan compared to last year, but with this quality, it’s worth it! I always stop by Ramen Dojo, but there are still places I haven’t tried yet. If you have any recommendations, please let me know in the comments! Now that I’m full, I’ll take a walk around the airport and introduce some famous restaurants. Next to Ramen Dojo is Matsuo Jingisukan , Hokkaido’s soul food. Oh! Kitado, which serves soba noodles and pork bowls, opened in May 2025. I love pork bowls, but I can’t seem to find one at the airport. This is Donburi Chaya, a seafood bowl specialty restaurant originating from Nijo Market, Sapporo’s kitchen in Hokkaido. The display is incredibly photogenic. The interior is relatively spacious and easy to access, so when I’m craving seafood and don’t have much time, I head to Donburi Chaya! Next door is Morihiko, a newly opened cafe in February 2025! This stylish cafe offers coffee and sweets. There are many popular restaurants in the central area, too. I’d love to try this one. Meer Lounge, a Hokkaido wheat pasta restaurant, serves pasta, pizza, and tarts made with Hokkaido wheat and raw milk. There’s also Miyakoshiya Coffee, a coffee shop originating from Sapporo. If you’re looking for pork bowls, we recommend the drive-in Ito pork bowl specialty restaurant, Butadon Meijin. RACLETTE is a raclette cheese specialty restaurant run by Hanabata Farm. Here’s a photo spot in Gourmet World on the third floor! Next, we head to Shiden-dori Shokudo-gai, located across from Ramen Dojo! This area is also home to some of Hokkaido’s most famous restaurants. Hakotaro, a popular conveyor-belt sushi restaurant with its flagship store in Hakodate, serves high-quality sushi you wouldn’t expect from a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant! There’s always a long line! Soup Curry Lavi, a popular Sapporo soup curry restaurant, is located further back, and a retro atmosphere unfolds. Kikuyo Shokudo, founded during the Hakodate Morning Market, is a local favorite known as “the place to go for seafood bowls!” We head toward my favorite spot, the food court with its spectacular views! Most restaurants in the airport close between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Many take last orders 30 minutes before closing, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting in the evening! Fighters Dining Roster is a restaurant directly operated by the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, where you can dine while watching a game. On both sides of the food court, you’ll find fun spots unique to airports! The Airport History Museum features exhibits from airlines. This “Sky Museum” is a corner where you can learn about aviation! Children’s costumes are available, so you can transform into a pilot or flight attendant! The observation deck is open from 8:00 to 20:00 in the summer♪ There’s also a nice view from the card lounge “Super Lounge”! The view from the food court is spectacular♪ You can watch planes take off and land! For plane lovers, this view is irresistible♡ You won’t be able to contain your excitement once you arrive at New Chitose Airport! The food court is spacious and has over 400 seats! There is also a “Matsuo Jingisukan” in the food court, so you can eat quickly. “Gin Shari” serves rice balls made with Hokkaido salmon, Hokkaido cod roe, kelp, and more♪ At Snow Brand Parlor, their airport-exclusive “Airport Soft Serve” is a big hit! Speaking of soft serve ice cream, New Chitose Airport holds a soft serve ice cream general election every year. It’s divided into four categories, and here’s this year’s lineup! What’s your favorite Hokkaido soft serve ice cream? Next, let’s enjoy some soft serve ice cream while browsing souvenirs on the second floor! The second floor is lined with souvenir shops in Shopping World! Popular soft serve ice creams are concentrated in the Sweets Avenue area! Wakasaimo’s “An Potato Soft Serve” won first place in the unique flavor category in the 2025 Soft Serve Ice Cream General Election. I’ve always been curious about Wakasaimo, but I haven’t tried it yet. If you have, please let me know what you thought in the comments! Here are my recommendations from the soft serve ice creams I’ve tried so far! Amy’s Ice Cream Competition♪ As someone who visits New Chitose Airport every year, what is my pick for the best soft serve ice cream? Let’s start with the third place winner! Yotsuba, famous for its butter, has an incredibly rich, milky soft serve! The waffle cone is also satisfying and delicious! In the 2025 General Election, it placed third in the rich category. Kitakaro is famous for its Kaitaku Okaki (refined rice crackers), but Hokkaido’s famous sweets also have many hit products! Melt-in-your-mouth, smooth milk! It looks heavy and satisfying to eat. In the 2025 General Election, it placed fourth in the rich category. Here’s the top pick! In the 2025 General Election, it won the rich category for the sixth consecutive time!!! First of all, you’ll be amazed by its sheer size! It has a refined flavor that’s like licking fresh cream! It’s firm and heavy, but the aftertaste is light. ♡ It’s a dish worth waiting in line for! Which one should I try this year? I’ll try the soft serve ice cream from Nouvelle Vague LeTAO, which won first place in the refreshing category for the first time in the 2025 General Election. The Baton Pie, exclusive to New Chitose Airport, sold out today! There are two LeTAO locations at the airport, and this one specializes in LeTAO chocolate sweets! There are three types of soft serve ice cream: 1. Cinq Fromages (5 kinds of cheese flavor), 2. Le Chocolat (chocolate flavor), and 3. Mariage Chocolat (mixed) . Wow! The mixed flavor first has a refined chocolate flavor! Then you can taste the saltiness of the rich cheese, which blends with the sweetness of the chocolate for a delicious taste.♡ This is my first time trying this sweet and salty, rich soft serve ice cream.♪ So delicious! I’m hooked! The cone is oval. It was a new type of soft serve ice cream that I’ll definitely be coming back for.♡ Next, I’ll try that shop I’ve always wanted to try.♪ Even though I came at 4:00 PM, a different time from the usual meal time, there was a long line again today. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I finally made it in! I’ve given up twice before because I ran out of time, but finally made it in on my third try! Let’s eat! Here’s the lineup of nigiri sushi! Prices range from around ¥400 to ¥1,000! Our shop is directly managed by Sapporo Seafoods, a wholesaler at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, and we offer a wide selection of seasonal ingredients! The number 57 in our store name is the wholesaler registration number used within the market! I definitely want to try some unique Hokkaido ingredients! They come with soy sauce, so I’ll eat it as is. I always like to start my sushi with tuna! Wow, the “red tuna” is so fresh! It’s rich in flavor! Next up is the “Atka mackerel” that’s unique to Hokkaido ! It’s so fatty! Hokkaido Atka mackerel is special and delicious! The grilled Atka mackerel is also the thickest and most delicious I’ve ever seen. Next, let’s try my favorite ingredients and seasonal ingredients! It sparkles! Of all the sushi ingredients, shrimp is my favorite! Mmm, so sweet♡ I have to try the autumn salmon, which is in season in September! It’s also fatty! It was delicious♡ I was so excited when I entered the restaurant, but I was disappointed that I only got to try four ingredients because I just had ramen. But I was thrilled to finally be able to eat at this famous restaurant! It was as delicious as rumored. You can also get sushi at Sapporo Uoichi, the restaurant across the street. They also offer takeout, so it’s great for enjoying on your flight home. There are plenty of recommended takeout options on the second floor! This is Sake no Marukame, a salmon specialty store. They offer a wide selection of Hokkaido seafood, with a focus on salmon! My recommendation is the onigiri (rice balls) made with Hokkaido ingredients! They’re made after you order! I also love the delicious croquettes at Tokachi Valleys! They sell out by the evening, so be sure to buy them early. There’s a particularly long line! Kamaei, a long-established kamaboko (fish cake) specialty store in Otaru. Their potato corn, a product exclusive to New Chitose Airport, is available! All are around ¥200 and make a popular souvenir! While Kamaei is undoubtedly delicious, today I’d like to introduce a different restaurant! Dezuka Suisan, a kamaboko (fish cake) shop, makes its scallop-shaped kamaboko ( fish cake) with fresh fish caught in the Sea of Okhotsk. Their cute “hotahotaage” (deep-fried hotahota), is their most popular item. My favorite food is crab mayonnaise! ♪ Back at the hotel, the Air Terminal Hotel, accessible from the JAL side on the second floor. Full stomach. Time for a rest. This year, I stayed in a Standard Single Room (20 m²) again! It’s a compact room, but there’s plenty of room to spread out my suitcase! There was even water in the fridge! The best feature of this room is… the runway view! ♡ Last year, it was on the third floor, but this year, it was on the fifth floor! Slippers, pajamas, and everything else are provided.◎ The bathroom is also clean! The amenities are all there, which is great! It even has a large bathtub! ♪ However, since guests can use the New Chitose Onsen hot springs at the airport, I ended up not using the bathroom. The TV in the room also has a monitor showing the arrival and departure flights! A room with a view of the runway along with the arrival and departure flight monitors is a great perk for airport and airplane enthusiasts! ♡ It was 6:00 PM, peak time for evening flights, and there were so many takeoffs and landings that I could watch them all day. Let’s unpack today’s loot! The moment you open it, the sweet aroma of corn fills the air. ♡ It’s shaped like a corn! ♪ It’s filled with lots of corn! ♪ It’s more like corn than bread! This “corn bread” apparently doesn’t use water or sugar! My first bite… “Sweet!” You can really taste the bounty of Hokkaido’s land! It’s delicious, as expected! Even though I’m full, I can eat it all in one go! ♡ The expiration date is the next day! I’ll eat the rest during my round of golf tomorrow! While enjoying the food today, I also picked up a lot of airport-exclusive souvenirs. Be sure to check out the “New Chitose Airport Souvenirs” video! I’ll also post the New Chitose Airport information page in the comments, so please take a look! My friend just arrived at New Chitose Airport, so let’s go for dinner ! ♪ Dinner time! We’re going to a new restaurant! The evening session has begun! We’re still enjoying New Chitose Airport. Two new soup curry restaurants opened side by side in November 2024 in the area just before the food court on the third floor! Today I’m eating at Soup Curry GARAKU ♪ It’s dinner time at 7:00 PM, and I waited in line for 10 minutes before I was able to get in! Here’s the menu! I’ll have the “tender chicken leg and vegetables”! You can choose the spiciness and the amount of rice! They have a wide variety of toppings. The “grilled cheese” and “fried broccoli” are popular! My friend shared some braised pork with me! It ‘s spicy and rich! What’s with this broccoli! It’s so flavorful! So delicious! Hokkaido vegetables are so flavorful and delicious. There are lots of vegetables in it too. The chicken is so tender it falls apart ♪ It also comes with a whole chicken leg, so it’s very filling! The hearty soup curry is highly recommended. Hurry! Hurry! Heading to the second floor! Here’s the dessert! Are we still eating?! I have to try the soft serve ice cream from Sapporo Agricultural College! I managed to get some just in time before closing time at 8:00 PM. The fluffy appearance is just adorable. This is my first time trying Sapporo Agricultural College’s soft serve ice cream. It won second place in the refreshing category in the 2025 Soft Serve General Election! The smooth ice cream is a perfect match with the milk cookie. The cone is unique, with a texture similar to Yoku Moku’s cookies! This time, the rankings for the “Amy’s Ice Cream Competition” remain unchanged! I guess I prefer waffle cones after all! I still have a lot to enjoy at New Chitose Airport at night. The fourth floor is home to fun facilities like the movie theater and Snow Miku Sky Town! And now, here’s where I’m heading! New Chitose Airport Onsen is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 AM the next morning, making it a great choice for those with late-night or early-morning flights. Admission is ¥2,600 for adults! Free for Air Terminal Hotel guests. The onsen boasts a restaurant, rest area, and spa! Towels, yukata, and in-house wear are available for rent, so you can come empty-handed! The baths are perfect, with an open-air bath, indoor bath, and sauna! Relaxation facilities are also plentiful, making this a very comfortable onsen! On the fourth floor, there’s a cafe called PRONTO, which transforms into a coffee shop and bar at night and is open until 10:00 PM! The bath felt great! With a hot spring, New Chitose Airport is the perfect place to enjoy yourself all day! Finally, we headed to Smile Road on the third floor. As a Starbucks fan, I had to check out the menu! And there it was! New Chitose Airport’s exclusive “White Chocolate & Espresso” menu item! This drink is inspired by the pure white snow of Hokkaido and the melting snow on the ground, and intentionally doesn’t contain espresso! Freshly ground coffee beans are topped on top of the chocolate whipped cream. The drink tastes sweet, similar to a white mocha. The coffee beans on top add a bitter accent! Today, I took a tour of New Chitose Airport, the most delicious airport in Japan. I thoroughly enjoyed Hokkaido cuisine! I’m stuffed! I ate all the Hokkaido cuisine I could! I go to New Chitose Airport every year, and I always discover something new to see. New Chitose Airport excites me every time I visit! I returned to my room. It’s foggy outside. I’m playing golf tomorrow morning, so I’m going to bed now zzz I hope this video is helpful for your Hokkaido trip! It made me want to go to New Chitose Airport! I’m stuffed! If you enjoyed it, please give it a like, a high rating, and a comment. See you in the next travel video! This was Amy!
